Great, Jesse and his team are the MOST Professional tree people I have the pleasure of knowing. I manage two properties with extensive gardens and they did all the work in a timely manner. The owners loved their work. I wouldn't hire any one else.

I had a very large 80 foot tree leaning against another tree at a 45 degree angle with all the branches intertwined. They did a great job getting it down and at a fair price! Would hire again for sure.

Have purchased Firewood from Charros a few times. Super quick response: delivered same/next day both times. I think I even left then a VM at night at ended up with the wood the next morning. Wood is a mix of types sizes. All firewood log size, just not perfectly uniform. Lasst load had lots of apple which was cool. Both time the wood was definitely aged and really dry so I felt they have integrity by not dropping off something freshly cut down. The price is very reasonable. I have no reason to use anyone else. Will be calling them again in about a month.

Dealing with Charros Tree Service of Lombard, IL was perfect in every respect. They arrived on-time, clean and ready for work. They are obviously experienced, as they worked smartly and quickly, while also keeping the area organized and safe. They completed the Job early, without mistakes or damages, and took a money order for full payment upon completion, as agreed-to before starting work. Yes, we would definitely hire Charros again, without hesitation.

The service was absolutely great! They arrived on time and did a great and clean job cutting down three trees on our property. I will hire them again for more work!

Fantastic quality firewood. Professional customer service and delivery.

It went overall okay with the trimming, however, the team destroyed my daughters trampoline, my grill, my grill cover which I caught them using as a shield to protect the patio railing, the patio railing and the decking. I specifically asked them if I needed to move anything, including the trampoline and grill and they said no, they will take care of it. They literally tore the legs apart from the trampoline permanently ruining it. I contacted them three times about this and never got a response. For the money paid, destroying a $1000 grill, and $400 trampoline it wasn't worth the money.

I’ve used their service twice now at both my residence and rental house. They did the work to my satisfaction and prices are competitive. They have removed stumps, taken out shrubs for me, cut down dead tree, and trimmed branches. Will definitely use again.

Received a email for my address to set up a time to come over to place the quote. Next thing I know my wife is calling saying that the “tree guy” was at the house. It took about about 4 days to get the quote and we agreed and decided he would do the clean-up on The up coming Friday. Monday arrives and my wife calls me to tell me that the tree guy was there to take the dead branches off. Not even the day we agreed on. Then she tells me the worker tells her his boss who quoted it only quoted it for half the dead branches since the other set of dead stuff did not overhang our yard and it would be another 400 to remove the other stuff as well. Now who only quotes half a job? I called the owner and asked him the same thing. He said that’s how they do it. Told him to pack his guys up and get the **** off my property.

The actual work was more or less okay. I debated between a B and a C. I would say they are really a B- and my wife and I are on the fence if we would use them again or recommend them. Here are the stand out challenges: 1.) Took the $100 dollar grill cover off the grill and used it to catch wood as it was falling from the tree to the deck and tore it up in multiple places. 2.) Left the $1000 grill uncovered so it is now full of saw dust and wood shavings, leaves, etc. Which is why we have (had) a cover over it in the first place. I have tarps, old moving blankets, etc. I would have gladly lent them these. 3.) Needed to borrow a ladder, what kind of tree trimming company cant supply their own ladder? Then I had to show the staff how to operate it. 4.) Did not finish limb clean up in the yard. Did not clean any of the debris from the gutters as they stood on the roof and let the tree branches fall on the side of house/roof (also a reason I wanted the tree trimmed in the first place.) 5.) Moved the kids trampoline out of the way and put it back which is great, but knocked multiple pieces off of it and put it back facing the wrong direction, so basically it didn't really matter that they moved it. All that work had to be done again. 6.) Did not disclose that there is an up charge for paying with a credit card. This probably would not have been such a big deal, except they showed up, out of the blue, no appointment and no agreement to do the work, said they had a cancellation and opening and we were next. They were not the lowest quote I received for this work and I wonder, what would they have done had I turned them away. Either way, you cannot show up at someone's home, unannounced and then expect they have nearly a 1000 cash just laying around. Seems absurd to me.

Charros Tree Service was very prompt to respond to my work request. Professional and courteous. Clean up after job completion was exceptional.

Excellent. I was very impressed with Jessie’s professionalism and knowledge. He even confirmed the cause of flooding in my yard ... faulty septic tank. I will hire a separate plumbing company for that. There are two people named Jessie at this company, father and son and son is learning the business.

Jesse was very responsive and did a good job trimming some dead branches off our oak trees in our backyard. We would hire him again.

Jesus' team did an excellent job clearing the branches for the entire area of our church property. Once they got the equipment running, they were efficient and diligent in providing us a clean and neat clearing. We would definitely use them again, not to mention recommend them to others.

The job was done quickly and the affected areas were left clean., All the agreed upon debris and tree section were removed without incident. I was clear upfront as to what needed to be done and what the timeframe I was looking for. He then gave me a reasonable estimate and asked that he schedual my job. Again, the crew did a quick, clean and professional job. Will use them for future work.

Jesus came out the same day I contacted the company to grind the stump from a tree I had cut down over the weekend. Other companies I had contacted wanted to come see the stump, provide a quote, and schedule the service for a later date. I was impressed by the ability to have same day service. Jesus knew the type of tree it was just from the stump alone. He ground the stump and the raised area around the stump flat, matching the rest of my lawn. Once the grass grows in the area, you'll never know a tree once resided in the location. The whole process took about 45 minutes. Once the stump grinding was complete, I had some additional questions regarding other trees on my property and my neighbors property. Jesus was happy to answer my questions and didn't try to rush his explanations. He even warned me about one of my neighbor's trees that could become a problem in the future. Overall, I was happy with the service and would hire again.

They were great. Worked hard and did everything I asked for. Highly recommended.

Jesse, the owner, told me he would have 3 men working for three hours. They would arrive at 11:00. We agreed on $300. At 10:00 one man came and started trimming leaves throughout the lower branches. At about 11:00 another man came in a truck and the real tree trimming began. There were only 2 men throughout the job. Jesse came and talked to me, talked to the men, came back to me and informed me that some of the branches could not be cut down because the tree was unhealthy on one side and it would eventually kill the tree. I felt: 1) Jesse could have told me from the start that only 2 men would be working and for 2 hrs. 2) When he came to give me an estimate, he could have told me what could not be done so that I would not be disappointed thinking that the job would be done as originally planned: trim the sides of the tree. This was not done. 3) The clean up was not completely done. One long branch was left hanging on the tree which later fell down and I had to pick it up and cut it down and dispose of it. Several small twigs and branches were left on the ground. Overall: disappointed, will not hire again

Alsways prompt and very quick with finishing the job. Jesse is super easy to work with, flexible and always very responsive to calls and emails. You can tell he cares a lot about his work and made some great suggestions when choosing which plants would work best with my property. He helped me find other companies to do the hardscapes, as well.

A guy came out to give me a quote. I provided pictures beforehand. He was supposed to be here at 9, but showed up at 11. Price was reasonable, but he thought it was a waste of time, of which he informed me (I provided pictures before he came out, mind you). He continued with racist insults over text after hanging up the phone, after I informed I’m expecting more quotes, so won’t give him an answer today. Needless to say, he won’t be coming back. estimated cost: 400.0

Great, friendly service. Felt like family. He also trimmed other branches because he was concerned they would fall sooner or later. Also, very educated in his field. Would absolutely call back and consult in the future.
