Description of Work: I live in a home built in 1956. The kitchen had never been redone. I received an inheritance when my Mother passed and knew what had to be done....the kitchen! I drive past Susan's Kitchen Studio often and admire the showroom kitchen in the window. Although there is another famed designer in Glen Ellyn, I had good "vibes" about Susan's shop. My instincts were right! She was personable,pleasant,creative and very cost conscious. She came up with a couple plans and we worked together to get just the right design. As I expected, the kitchen had to be gutted. New plumbing,new electric, new walls/floor and appliances. We also redesigned the bay window into french doors leading to the yet, non-existent deck. She had great ideas and really tried to stay within my budget. We went over budget because I wanted certain upgrades that cost more. I wanted my dream kitchen and got it! I cannot say enough about the people Susan works with. Her husband Jeff is hands on and very pleasant and willing to please. The contractor Kris and electrician Sam were a delight to work with. I had no problem leaving them everyday when I went off to work. It was fun to come home and see what had been done that day. They were efficient and installed high quality merchandise. The kitchen turned out better than I ever expected! It is now over a year later and I'm still loving it as much as when it was completed. There were no delays that I'm aware of. The great staff was neat and tidy. I just cannot express how very pleased I was with the whole experience. I would certainly go back to The Kitchen Studio for future projects. What a wonderful, experienced staff they were.

Description of Work: The Kitchen Studio of Glen Ellyn was hired to remodel a whole codominium. The kitchen and the bathrooms were major part of the overall work. The work was done on time, at estimated cost, and was of very high quality. I would not hesitate to hire them again or recommend to others.

Description of Work: Susan designed a custom hutch for our recently remodeled kitchen. The hutch was intended to complement our existing cabinets, island and other elements in the kitchen. The Kitchen Studio staff also installed the hutch.
