Work completed in a timely manner. Crew and owner were very professional and knowledgable, would highly recommend to anyone needing attic care. Workers took time to make sure everything was done right. Their electrician even repaired our attic light without charge. I could not be anymore happier. Now attic is cool, well ventilated and insulated.

They cleaned out the old insulation out of the attic, decontaminated it (due to raccoon damage), and installed new, blown-in insulation.

Cory Thomas took time to come to review my dryer exhaust and to check why large amounts of lint were being seen/caught in the exhaust path to the outside vent. After his review, he advised he thought the problem was not the exterior exhaust path but the actual dryer in particular the dump gasket. He didn't charge for his time and advice. I appreciated the fact that he took time to come over and inspect and that he provided advise which proved to be accurate. For quite a while, I had experienced problems with extremely large amounts of dryer lint both in the unit and in the exhaust so his input was a great help to me. I contacted my dryer vendor and requested the drum gasket be replaced - they replaced the whole drum which was covered under a service contract. The large amounts of lint are no longer being ejected or being trapped at the exterior point. I appreciated Cory's help and i would consider him for future work and recommend him as someone who I feel would be trustworthy and very professional.

Superior Insulation came out to blow additional insulation in my attic space binging it up to R-49 (it was at R-20, much less in some spots) and remove a false wall in the attic that was impeding airflow in the attic space. They also installed baffles for vents that were installed subsequent to the building's construction. They correctly told me what I had been experiencing in terms of hot/cold spots in my house without my mentioning anything. They also retrieved a flash light I had left up in the attic a year ago after I asked them to look for it while they were in the attic space. (The attic space is difficult to navigate as I have volume ceilings.) They came when they said they would (8am), made sure the window openings were blocked so my cats would not jump out, courteous, professional, and cleaned up so well after themselves that virtually nothing had to be done on my part. The job was done in 1.5 hours. My house feels much warmer, no more cold spots where I used to experience them in previous winters. I am certain the extra insulation will be noticeable in the summer months too. I am extremely pleased!

Within 45 minutes the owner's son and a helper completed the work and reset thermostat and humidistat. They have everything they need on their truck. Fan motor is made in TX and not China! Roof vent openings were enlarged to gain maximum efficiency. They entertained additional questions too. In the Spring I may call them back to check roof soffits to verify they are open. If they are not open they will cut open wood and clear insulation.

I had some follow up questions about the services quoted and never received a response back.

I spoke with Cory (the owner) who was very helpful and professional and we set an appt. for approx. 1 week later to install a bathroom fan. I had researched the fan installtion quite a bit and found many electricians wanted to vent through the side of the house, but I ultimately decided that venting through the roof would be best. I was concerned about sealing around the hole in the roof, so I chose Superior Insulation & Attic Ventilation because they specialize in attic ventilation. I am confident that this was the best decision - they were professional, respectful, knowledgeable and did a fantastic job. This wasn't an easy installation (an old house), but they trouble-shot and everything worked out perfect. In addition, the cost was in line with or lower than most electricians. I highly recommend them for fan installation (and anything attic-related).

Did ok job, did not have the right replacement parts o fixed a fan rather than replaced it Came back when we had an issue and rectified it. Excellent customer service.

Originally called to explore a whole house fan to cool the second floor of our home, which runs 10 plus degrees warmer than the first floor. After coming out to inspect the house, Cory indicated all we would need was an attic fan, which was considerably less expensive. It has worked great and our air-conditioning is running much less.

I was very happy with them. They are very knowledgeable when it comes to attics, every thing went as it was suppose to. I wish all businesses were like them!

Gave me a quote in fall 2012. called him back in May 2013. Honored quote - crew did the work. Cory is knowledgeable and gives you straight answers. Crew is so-so neat (be prepared for some mess) Had the work done - sure the new insulation will help in the winter. Do not notice any difference in the summer heat or change due to more vents in attic. But who knows - it's a hard project to quantify. They were lowest quote, they did the work as described. Solid overall.

We discovered mold in both attics, and were advised by the mold remediation company to remove all the insulation in order to ensure proper remediation. After reviewing Angie's list, we called Superior for an estimate. The owner came out late one afternoon and provided a no-nonsense detailed estimate. He was not rushed at all, and was willing to talk through every detail. Prior to beginning the job, Cory gladly answered my phone calls, emails, and texts. Superior was able to accommodate my schedule, and arrived on Monday to remove the insulation and cut the soffit vents. They returned the following Thursday to re-insulate. Throughout the entire process the workers were extremely clean in their work, and very courteous. You could tell that the technicians cared about their work. The owner showed up on both days to manage the job and ensure I was happy. I would gladly use Superior in the future, but I have a feeling they will never need to see my attics again. I can now rest easy, knowing that I have proper ventilation and great insulation.

We had heavy condensation in the attic which was dripping down through electrical wiring into the smoke detector. We noticed it last winter and didn't do anything about it in hopes it "would go away" but it didn't. When we stuck our heads up there, the attic was full of fog! Literally, fog. Everything was wet. We had just gotten our Angie's List booklet and found Superior Insulation and gave them a call. They were great! Cory came out to the house within a couple days, inspected everything and told us what he knew was the issue. He said we had plenty of insulation and all but the problem was poor circulation which was causing the condensation. He came out with a small crew and within 2-1/2 hours, everything was done and cleaned up. He didn't try to up sell into things we didn't need and there was no sales pressure at all. We didn't even bother getting another quote as we were so happy with what was suggested. It was a great experience and we would use them again if we needed to.

They -Owner and 5 man crew- arrived as promised in the morning as scheduled. Covered the passage way and other necessary area with the drop cloth. I was surprised with the speed they finished the work. Left the place nice and clean. They are real professional. I am more than pleased with their work.

Cory and his crew were on time, efficient, and the price was actually less than what he quoted, since he did not have to install a thermostat.

The guy new what he was talking about. I he did not try to hurry us to make the decision. Worked out great and he was here about 3 days after he gave us a price.

They came right in and took care of what we needed. They were on time and very professional.

Our ceiling fan went out, and we called them to replace it. They replaced our insulation a couple years ago, and did great, so I called them back for the fan. It went very smoothly, it was quick and clean. The technician was very careful not to disturb the attic insulation, and was very professional.

I requested an estimate to properly vent our attic (bathroom fans, and vents). They recommended that we also put new insulation in and increase the R-value. There was no pressure, and they gave us estimates for a few options. We decided to put the best R-49 in. Everything went perfectly smoothly. They were on time, clean, and they did a fantastic job. Some carpentry that they expected to have to do turned out to be unnecessary and so they reduced the bill. They are probably the best company I've ever had work on my house. There was a very noticeable effect on our heating bill. I suspect it's already paid for itself.

Excellent from start to finish in all respects. Work was done neatly and installers took the time to show us that everything was up to code. We had a new attic fan installed, proper venting of 2 bath fans, 16+ eave vents opened, and 4 new roof vents installed. All was well-worth the price. Nicely done, guys!

We had a severe mold problem in our attic due to inadequate ventilation. All of our existing insulation needed to be removed & we needed new insulation installed. We were given Superior Attic's name by the mold remediation company. I had checked Angie's list & were happy to see that they had good ratings. Cory the owner came out to give us the estimate. He showed up on time & explained what needed to be done. Our work needed to be completed in 2 phases. 1st all of the insulation needed to be removed & additional eave vents needed to be cut in. Then once the mold remediation & roof repairs were completed, they would come back & reinsulate the attic. The crew showed up on time to remove the insulation. They worked quickly & left very little mess while removing the insulation. There was some confusion about whether they were cutting in the eave vents that day. They tried to leave without completing that task, but we complained & they did finish their work. We called Cory about a month later to come back & reinsulate the attic. Once again they showed up on time, worked quickly, & we were left with very little mess after the insulation was reinstalled. This is where we became very disappointed with this company. Cory had given us a price to install a power attic fan in addition to the insulation. He explained that we did not necessarily have to have the fan installed by him. Our roofer had also given us a quote for the fan. It made logical sense to have our roofer install it. The attic fan was working just fine up until Superior Insulation came back to reinstall the insulation. I should mention that when Cory saw the fan that was installed, his comment was that it was of poor quality & we would be inviting raccoons & squirrels into our home and we would need to call him back in a year or so to replace it. We used an extremely high rated roofer from Angie's list & totally trusted his judgement of the attic fan that he installed. The very next day after the insulation was installed, our brand new attic fan quit working. We called our roofer back & his repairman stated that the attic fan was "choked" with blown in insulation, which then caused the motor to burn out. The fan should have been turned off or covered to protect it, while the insulation was being blown in. Superior insulation should have taken precautions to protect the fan. The roofer replaced the fan even though it was no fault of his. The roofer then presented us with another invoice for the replacement fan. He asked us to forward it on to Superior Insulation since their work caused the fan to quit. We mailed Cory the invoice & the roofer received no response or payment. We then proceeded to send Cory an email asking for payment of the invoice & he never responded to our email nor did he make any payment. That is very poor customer service. We were very dissatisfied with the way Cory handled this situation. He was totally unprofessional. I would never use this company again nor would I recommend them to anyone.

This was one of the most painless fixes we have done and I expect that it will pay itself off by winter time. Superior was beyond honest, efficient, thorough and REALLY knew their stuff. I think that all this work was done in about 90 minutes or less. A BIG SHOUT OUT to honest guys that know their craft! You don't always see that any more! Thanks Superior for a job beyond well done!
