Description of Work: John and his son Chris replaced a kitchen faucet, replaced a leaky water valve and replaced the wax ring on a toilet. John returned my call promptly came the next morning gave me a quote and did the work at that time. They are both very nice and easy to deal with.

Description of Work: The shower faucet handle broke off and I had a mess. Mr. O'Connell came out that day and had it fixed in a short time. He also showed me what I might be able to do if that ever happened again. I have passed his name on to my neighbors. I was very pleased. I found him on Angie's list!

Description of Work: He installed a toilet and put in a sump pump. Also, he gave advice and fixed another toilet.

Description of Work: On the phone, he was very informative and explained that we had a burst pipe in the wall due to a freeze from the previous winter. This was the hose connect on our front of the house. He came the next day, explained everything in fuller detail and then went into the crawl and fixed the pipe. He explained a few other plumbing things andgave us a quote for some further work which we intend to do eventually

Description of Work: This is the second time we have used John O'Connell. Both times they immediately answered the phone and were out within days. We needed an old water softener removed, and the lines capped. They came out, did exactly what they were supposed to and even carried the softener to the side of the road for pick-up. They are honest, professional, and reasonably priced!

Description of Work: John arrived on time, worked neatly, has a great sense of humor, cleaned up after he was done. He was flexible when I asked him to come at a certain time convenient time. I will definitely use his services again vs other plumbers I have used in the past.

Description of Work: My wife's hair plugging up the shower drain. did a quick neat job...and provided us suggestions to not have this again.

Description of Work: John came to our house on an emergency call on a Saturday for a toilet that was overflowing. He had to clean out the sewer exiting the house and the next day had to come back and replace part of the sewer line exiting the house. He and his crew had to excavate down 7 feet in clay (dug by hand). He informed us of exactly what had to be done (bushes removed out in front of the house) and the approximate price. The price was right on the estimate. They worked for about a day and a half at our house and replaced the sewer pipe exiting the house. He answered all of our questions thoroughly and was very professional. I would definitely use him again.

Description of Work: John told me resetting undermount sink in granite countertop would be very expensive and he could only give me an hourly rate. He suggested I remove the caulk (or epoxy, if used) with a curved knife or dremel tool. He even left me a tube of caulk to use and only charged me $10 for the service call.
