The customer service (after some initial glitches with samples) is outstanding! The expertise of the sales staff is top notch. They even came to our home with samples! And we cannot say enough about the installation team. Arcadio is a true artist who is meticulous with his work. His assistant, Jose, did an extraordinary job, too! How they could carry the rolls of carpet still astounds us! The installation team worked two full days with diligence and care for our home. We had 5 rooms completed in our home. Each room is beautiful! Thank you DeSitter for making our home stunning!

Carpet for 4 bedrooms, hallway and stairs

Perfect. I worked with Tim O'Brien at the Glen Ellyn location who was helpful, patient and professional, making it a pleasant shopping experience. The area rug was delivered on time as scheduled and is exactly what I wanted.

They moved all our heavy furniture and gave me updates on their progress. Upon completion of the installation, they took the time with me to verify that the furniture was moved back properly. At DeSitter La Grange, we met with Allan Beuke who showed us several options, along with a recommendation & ballpark cost. We took samples home, made our decision and returned to the showroom to place our order. Allan came to our home the next day to take final measurements. The crew arrived as scheduled, removed our old carpeting and installed the new carpeting very efficiently, working without a break. The crew's work was very clean & the finished job is perfect! We will recommend De Sitter at every opportunity.

This is our 5th flooring project in 15 years and we have always used DeSitter for both our carpeting and tile needs. We were very pleased with the quality of the tile and the professionalism of the staff. We worked with Debi in the store, and had Pete and his assistant for the installation. My only complaint about this project was the length of time it took to get the project completed. It took over a week for someone just to call me to set up a time to come out and take measurements, and almost 3 weeks for someone to call to set up an installation time after I placed my order. I would definitely recommend DeSitter, but allow several weeks for your project to be completed.

The salesman in LaGrange (Allan Beuke) was extremely helpful. The carpet arrived on time, scheduling installation was easy and the two installers were fantastic!!! They really worked hard, did an excellent job and put up with me having them move furniture inches to the left or right to have it where I wanted it. They could not have been more professional. This is the second time we have used DeSitter for carpeting. (previously in LaGrange) and we were thrilled both times. I highly recommend them. And, they are no more expensive than the "big box" stores.

Very broad selection of carpet to choose from. Installation went very well. The installation crew moved all heavy furniture in four bedrooms and installed carpet. Seams appear to be very tight and currently seem invisible. Very happy with job. The only negative issues were that the installation crew did not have the agreed upon seam locations but they resolved the issue very well. Also, upon completion it was necessary to call the office to get credit card approval and the code for the crew and no one answered the phone at either number provided and the crew had to get someone to help them out so they could get their authorization code that was required.

We used DeSitter Flooring today for the first time to carpet two bedrooms upstairs. The staff was tremendously helpful in matching our carpet with our paint selection. The installation crew took great care to protect or walls and stairs when bringing in the carpet. They were very courteous and made sure everything was cleaned and vaccumed before leaving. I had three quotes for this project. DeSitter was the best price and was able to install very quickly. I highly recommend them for their quality services.

Workers did a great job. The only concern, is that the company schedules the install the day before, but that means that I would have to take a full day off form work, to be there whenever it is convenient for them. I was off that day anyway, so didn't aske if they could be more flexible, ie, make it an AM or PM install, vs me having to be available for the whole day.

Tim was wonderful at showing us options that would work in our remodel. He sent a very careful technician who got the quantity just right and delivery was on schedule just as promised. Everything arrived in great shape.

They measured room, helped pick out carpeting. Made arrangement for installation. Installers were prompt and efficient. Dealing with Paul in the store was great. Would definitely use them again. We used limber liquidators for flooring on our main floor. Wish we would of used Desitter.

This was a perfectly smooth transaction, from the service provided in the showroom through installation last Spring. No problems have developed with regard to the carpet itself or its installation. While the cost may seem high to some, this was due to my selection of carpet for a high traffic area.

The carpet installers arrived on time. They moved all the heavy furniture out of the office, installed the carpeting and moved everything back in record time. They were very professional and easy to work with. This is our second time using Desitter and we are just as pleased as we were the first time using them when we had our entire second floor with 4 bedrooms, hallway and 2 staircases installed with new carpet.

The salesperson who came to measure gave us a quote that seemed delightfully low. Then I learned that he didn't actually listen to what I wanted and had only measured half the area we wanted done. We did get the carpet put in, and within less than a year, holes started to appear in the carpet, with tufts of yarn falling out. We called DeSitter to have them come look at what was happening, and it took, literally, months to get someone out to do the inspection. When they did finally come, (after I spent hours calling them back and trying to get them to come out) they claimed that the damage was due to cleaning products in the carpet and refused to cover the damage. They offered to patch in a new piece for a fee, but we were so frustrated with them that we chose not to pay them more money to have them fix carpet that is falling apart.

Installers were professional and did very good work. Floors and carpet look great.

I had remodeled my entire kitchen several years ago, doing all the planning myself. But I simply could not figure out what to do for the tile backsplash. I looked at a lot of tile on my own and was completely overwhelmed. I was very thankful for Karolina and the team at Desitter Tile for making the process easy and smooth. I walked into Desitter Tile without an appointment and Karolina quickly took me under her wing. We discussed what my budget was, what my kitchen looked like, and the approximate size (I had pre-measured). Karolina came out with the Desitter measuring guy to get a sense of my personality through my kitchen. When I next met with her, she had sketched out her idea of a simple pattern with an accent over the sink. We looked at tile, and she showed me several possibilities so I could tell her what I liked. After several revisions to the drawing, we ended up back at her original idea. My trust in her had grown so I let her pick the colors, sizes, and grout. I had a little trouble with the scheduling department. My tile had to be specially shipped from California so I had to wait a few weeks. I scheduled the installation with plenty of time for the tile to come in so I could take off work. Yet a few days before the scheduled installation, I got a call from the scheduling department wanting to reschedule me. I told them no, I had made the appointment a month ahead and taken off work. They were able to fit me in on the scheduled day, and two guys came to do the installation. The guys were very nice and clean. They called me ahead of time, put down dropcloths for where they would be walking, and they worked for 6 or 7 hours straight without any sort of break. Once they were done, they cleaned up everything and left me with all the extra tile, grout, etc. that I had paid for. And I simply cannot tell you how gorgeous the backsplash looks. Karolina really "got" my style even though I didn't know it at first. The installers did such a great job that my backsplash is now the highlight of my kitchen. They even cut tile around a defect in my wall and hid the defect with grout so it is barely noticeable, which is much better than I expected when we first discussed the defect. The ultimate price ended up being a bit more than I was planning, but in the end, this experience proves to me that you get what you pay for. It cost more, but it looks fantastic. And I'm sure Karolina would have made changes to keep it under budget if I had asked. Karolina did work some magic to keep costs to a minimum without sacrificing tile quality. I could have chosen a cheaper tile, but it wouldn't have looked as nice. All in all, I'm very happy with Desitter's work and I would recommend them to others.

Everything went fine at first. We made an appointment to speak with a rep, Tim, and he was helpful and friendly while we picked out carpet and hardwood options we were interested in. We made an appointment for someone to come out and measure & even that went well, he came out quickly & was on time. Then everything started to go down hill. Next we were told we need yet another consultation in our home so Tim could come out and view the space. He did take a couple of measurements for areas we decided to re-floor after the measuring guy had come out, but other than that he just kind of walked around for 5 minutes, made no additional recommendations, and didn't even bother to look at all of the areas included in the scope of the project. He said he would get us a quote. The whole meeting was a waste of time. 6 days later we still hadn't heard back. I had to call the store and ask what the hold up was and was told that Tim hadn't completed the quote in the system and I'd have to wait until he got back from his vacation. The final straw was when Tim finally called me told us we would need to have a FOURTH consultation (preferably in person) before they would give us our full quote - company policy. We decided to use someone else.

the workers came ahead of the installation and measured the areas to be carpeted and gave us advice on how to clear the space and prepare for the installation. The installers arrived on the appointed day did the entire installation in one day. The amount of carpet scrap was minimal. They cleaned up the job site. That occurred more than two years ago. The carpet is still stretched and looking excellent. The two men doing the job were direct employees of Desitter Flooring, Inc. They were courteous, knowledgeable and answered all our questions
