DeSitter Flooring

Our family has known of and used De Sitter Flooring since the early 1960s when they were located on Kedzie Avenue in Chicago. We traveled to the La Grange location looking for new hardwood flooring to replace our carpet. We worked with Allan in making our final selections which was a Red Oak wood. They sent a gentleman out to measure the rooms and we then had our quote back in a very short time. They were very competitive with another quote we had received and also offered a couple other promotions which were not included on the other quote. We had no problem with making our choice as to using De Sitter Flooring. Work was completed in a very timely manner and we are extremely happy and our new floors look fantastic. We are truly happy with our decision on using De Sitter Flooring.

It went very well. The service received in the showroom to select our flooring was exceptional! The staff was very friendly & knowledgable. Excellent customer service. They handled everything from assisting in the selection to the delivery of material, to the scheduling and follow through of the installation. The installers were prompt, friendly, clean and professional.

I needed new carpeting for the bedrooms in my home. My parents had previously purchased from DeSitter and had a good experience, so they referred me to them. The Carol Stream location was closest, so I stopped by on a Saturday Morning. Paul was my salesman and he educated me on the different styles and flooring options. Softness and cleanability were the main features I wanted. I was guided to the newer Smartstrand fiber which was soo soft and I was told could clean up most spills with only water. The carpet was available in different price points and I found one in their inventory which met my budget. It was installed within a week and the installers were polite and even vacuumed after completing the job. I will use them again in the future and would recommend them for service and quality.

First, I'm not the easiest customer. I had no idea what I was looking for when I walked into the DeSitter Tile & Stone Gallery. With so many options of tile and styles, I felt overwhelmed. I met the manager, Adam Sage. He was extremely knowlegeable, and had great design ideas. Adam was able to help me create an amazing bathroom. We used a lager subway tile on the walls with a glass accent and a 12x24 tile in a brick pattern on the floor. Adam was a joy to work with! The installers were on-time, professional and courteous. They cleaned up after each day and blocked off the room with plastic. I felt very comfortable with them in my home. I'm very happy with tile selection and installation from DeSitter.

I went to DeSitter in Carol Stream to look for carpet on a Monday . Tim was informative and eager to find a right fit for my needs that I was thrilled to have him come measure the basement the next morning. He brought samples that they have in stock and worked with my wife and found the perfect color. He gave us a fair and detailed quote the same day. The installation happened as planned 2 days later. The installer (Robert) was a real gentleman and hard worker. He even hauled the old carpet away and moved my heavy sofa without any problems. I would (and have) recommend DeSitter to all my friends.

They were extremely helpful and took their time with us. They knew they were not going to get a sale with us in our situation, but they were still extremely helpful.

I met the rep from the stone company and decided to use their product. They are very talented and they have great follow through. They have a beautiful showroom. They are a bit on the pricey side but they have a great selection of high end material.

Their service was good. Their pricing was fair. We found carpet that we liked and had them edge it and size it to an area rug.

They are a very reputable, local company and I would recommend people check them out. They were punctual and I was pleased with their work.

The price was ridiculously high. The woman asked me if I had a finished stair case. I told her I did. She then argued with me and told me most staircases are not finished. I did not appreciate her attitude. They had a very nice variety, but I would never use their services.

They were very nice, helpful, and professional. I would have used their services but they were unable to complete the work by a certain day. They were not open at that time because it was a holiday.

They have installed carpet in two bedrooms. They came on time, the carpet was installed very well and they cleaned up after they left. They have stored carpet in a warehouse until it is ready to be installed. Setting up the appointment was easy to do and they came when they said they would. I am very happy with their work.

The person that picked out the product was great also. She had a good eye for what would look good and we are very pleased. We are using this as a game room and she picked a durable material that will hold up. Their price was more reasonable than others we received and they were able to provide the estimate and do the work we needed more quickly.

Their customer service was wonderful! They were a top notch company. We may use them for the service, but we have not followed through with the project. Overall, they did a great job!

The prices were fair, but there was a defect in the carpeting. I was not satisfied with the choices they offered for the repair it. It was not the fault of that particular location, but they were the choices provided by headquarters. My niece went there as well for an estimate, but they never got back with her.

They were very professional. They provided me with all the estimates and samples in a timely manner. However, we didn’t end up ordering from them.

We have used them several times in the past. The salesman we worked with really listened and helped us find exactly what we needed. We are extremely pleased and would use them again.

They are fine. Whenever we purchase rugs, we tend to buy from.
