To lead with the point, we can't speak highly enough of Andy Benkert and Benkert Builders. Andy is professional, friendly, highly organized, obviously extremely knowledgeable and experienced, and very detail-oriented. Each of his various trade teams were as well (demo/construction, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, siding, etc): very professional and did excellent work. Our project was primarily an out-and-down addition: nearly the entirety of the back of our house (about 50 linear feet) was extended out ~15 feet out and down. The centerpiece was a complete gut and 3x increase of our kitchen and eating areas, but also include an entirely new mud-room, a walk-in pantry, new extensive back deck (good portion fully covered) as well as new basement and crawlspaces. A second track of the project involved adding a second HVAC system and ductwork in our attic in order to zone our second floor separately from the rest of the house. A third track involved re-siding and re-trimming our entire house, replacing old vinyl siding with new Hardy composite siding. The entire project went very smoothly, Andy managed everything very efficiently (despite the now-common supply issues, some of our own selection delay, and weather) and we are highly satisfied with the result. We will not hesitate to use Benkert Builders again for any future projects.
