He was very, very efficient and thorough. He was early and called ahead to let us know. We had other issues with our sliding doors, and he also assisted with fixing this.

One of the door frames was cracked and damaged, and he needed to put in a much sturdier plate. It turned out to be a longer job than he anticipated, but he was good-natured and professional throughout.

Pat was great. He returned my phone call promptly, and fit me in the following business day. I wanted the new lock to match the finish of the doorknob, so he had me take a picture of the knob so that he could match it. His pricing was reasonable and he was very professional and personable. I will definitely use him again. Thanks!

Prompt same day Saturday service at a very reasonable cost. Pat has a "can do" professional attitude with excellent workmanship. He repaired a Baldwin exterior door lock that was not working and finished work that I started on a deadbolt that was out of alignment. Highly recommend.

I called Pat on Saturday morning of Memorial Day weekend and he was able to come over within two hours. He is very personable and knowledgable and handled our troublesome lock with ease. I saw the excellent rating for Bell's Lock & Key service and called Mr. Bell on a Friday at about 4:00 pm. I informed him I wanted to upgrade the locks on my service door to my garage. Mr. Bell set up an appointment for me on Saturday, 04-19-14 between 3-4 pm. When Mr. Bell arrived I voiced my concerns which he quickly addressed and then explained to me my options and an estimate for the work before he started. I found Mr. Bell to be very polite, professional and detail orientated. If I ever need to upgrade or change my locks I would not hesitate to call Mr. Bell of Bell's Lock & Key Service without hesitation.

Bells is now our recommendation if a friend needs a locksmith. He came out the same daily I called at just the time he said. He was friendly, knowledgeable, very reasonably priced.

We just moved into our new home and wanted to re-key all the locks. Patrick is friendly, professional, and went out of his way to help resolve minor issues without charging us. I found him very trustworthy and would use him again.

We discovered that our front door lock no long worked. We checked Angie's list and decided to call on Pat Bell to see if he could come as soon as possible. He was in a meeting and told my husband that if possible we should send a picture to him via email so he would be certain to bring the correct equipment with him. Prior to calling Pat, my husband went to Home Depot to see if we could just buy the two handsets for the door and install them himself. The type that we have are over 30 yrs old and trying to get the correct length on the lock was impossible. We sent the picture and Pat came out the next day with the proper equipment. We also discussed the security on the garage door and we agreed that a deadbolt was also needed there. He was great about creating duplicate keys for us as he had the equipment in his van. Pat was professional and very friendly. We enjoyed speaking with him and were very grateful for how quickly he responded to us. Especially since our front door was not locking. We definitely recommend Pat to anyone who needs the service of a great locksmith.

Key would not open the lock on another unit I own. It seemed jammed in some way. Looked on Angies list & found Bell. He was really nice on phone. I also called the police because I was afraid someone had tried to get in to my place. Police showed up about 10 min later. They worked with the key and lock for a few min. & were able to get the key to open the door. I called Bell right away to let him know I got in. He was already on his way to my place. He was very nice about everything.

I called Bell's mid morning and the service provider came that afternoon. This was a big surprise as it has been so terribly cold out, I surely thought that he would suggest tomorrow or later in the week. The job was performed quickly and the installer completely professional.

The work was done with care and in a reasonable amount of time. At no point did we feel like we were being sold additional services that weren't needed. The weather was poor that day and Pat even called ahead to let us know he was running late which is very much appreciated yet often overlooked by service providers.

I came home and couldn't open my door. A coworker suggested Pat Bell as she had used him before. I called Pat and left a message. He called back in a short period of time. He was on his way to another job and wasn't sure he could fit me in, but then called back and he managed to squeeze me into his schedule. He asked me a few questions and then asked if something was hanging on the doorknob! There was! He managed to get in without doing any damage to the door or doorknob. There was a bag hanging on the inside of the door which managed to throw the inside of the doorknob out of alignment. Obviously he is very knowledgable of his trade and was extremely nice. His price was lower than two other local places I called and he was much nicer. Would not have a problem recommending him.

I contacted Pat a day before I moved into my new home to arrange for some locks to be rekeyed and he squeezed me into his already full schedule. When I told him what I would need, I was going off of memory from a previous whirl-wind walk through. . . when I finally got moved in, I realized I needed different work done. I called Pat the night before the appointment and let him know what I was changing - he had absolutely no problem with my last minute changes. When he arrived for the appointment he was pleasant and polite. He looked over my doors and we made yet another last minute change for safety precautions. He was knowledgeable and answered several questions and did a wonderful job on the tasks he could complete in the time frame he had -- I knew I was a last minute schedule addition and he had another commitment, so when he asked if he could come back to finish the "list", I had no problem with that at all; in fact, he hasn't accepted payment yet for the work he finished because he wants me to pay "when the ENTIRE job is finished". I would DEFINITELY recommend him to anyone in need of an honest, old-school-take-care-of-your-customers locksmith!!
