Pat responded when I called, discussed, and texted him pictures. He called back the next day after viewing the pictures to go over what might be needed. When scheduled day and time came, he was running late, but did let me know, most appreciated! He arrived, respected the quality of the door and was able to provide what was needed even so far as to have a needed part that matched the older look of the existing hardware. Most appreciated was his patience and time he took to insure the job was done properly and to his customers expectations. He was very, very, very (!!) patient while I had a discussion with my husband on the need for a new deadbolt, even though the old lock was fixed and functional. He was efficient, knowledgeable, pleasant and patient and the cost I consider was reasonable. I will most certainly hire him again and will recommend him to anyone in need of his services.

Excellent. I am very pleased with the outcome. He explained his rates for the materials and services I was asking for so I could estimate the cost. We agreed on a day and time. He was delayed at a previous appointment, but called at the appointed time to let me know when he would arrive. Something I really appreciate when contracting for services. He explained my options, worked efficiently and made sure I was satisfied with the quality of the work performed.

I contacted Pat after reading several great reviews on Angie's List. He was on vacation but happily took the call and got me scheduled. I really wanted the locks changed before we slept in our new house and Pat agreed to come out on a Sunday and didn't even charge us an extra fee for doing so. He was extremely personable and his prices were fair. He completed the work within a reasonable amount of time and cut extra keys for us on site. We will definitely call him if we're in need of a locksmith again.

After using my front door several times on a Sunday, it came as a real surprise when I was unable to open my unlocked door later in the day. The door handle would rotate but the door would not budge. I called one locksmith that listed 24-hour service and left a message that, to date, has never been returned. The next day I called a second locksmith and left a message which was returned two hours later (which I did appreciate). However, while waiting for the return phone call I decided to try Bell's Lock and Key Service. Imagine my surprise when a real person answered my call. I was asked to explain the situation and was asked very good follow-up questions about what the situation was (what brand of lock was broken, what other doors had locks that were keyed the same as the front door, etc.). Mr. Bell was on his way to another appointment but promised to call with an estimate of the work. True to his word, he called back with an estimate and fit me into his busy schedule the same day. Not only was he a pleasure to work with, he also explained what he was doing and why (and why the lock had broken). I appreciated him taking the time to educate me, especially when I had a lock issue that I had never experienced before. Mr. Bell was professional, knowledgeable and charged me exactly what he quoted me over the phone. I would definitely use Bell's Lock and Key Service again!

I requested a price quote and scheduled an appointment with Pat Bell, the owner. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Pat arrived on-time and did an excellent job preparing the door and installing the deadbolt and handle set. He was very meticulous in ensuring that the bolts were perfectly lined up for smooth operation with no binding. He explained the complete operation of the hardware and said to call him if I had any problems or questions. I enjoyed our conversion during the installation and found Pat to be very sincere and someone who takes pride in the quality of his work.
