Judson came out within 2 hours of my call. He was able to repair rather than replace the lock. Work was done in about 45 minutes. Price was reasonable and service prompt. I would definitely use him again.

The day before we were to leave for vacation, I couldn't locate a key to our Thule car top carrier. After finding it would take five weeks to get a replacement, I called Judson. He worked me into his schedule on a Monday night, and I took the carrier over. He first found the right key to fit the lock, and then went through the process of finding where the lock tumblers hitting the key and ground down the appropriate areas. After two hours, I had a key and could pack for vacation!

The owner Judson (Jud) is a very nice "Elderly Gentleman". His work is good but extremely slow. It took almost four hour hours for him to do this work. I have had this done in other homes I have moved into and it has never taken longer than an hour. I was in constant fear that he was going to have a heart attack while working on the project. He is very talkative which slows down his work. He also did not give me an estimate just started doing the job. The price was very fair though I feel. So I can't complain on that.

Judson came on a Saturday when our door was accidentally locked shut by a departing party guest Friday night. He did the job quickly and for around the price he estimated. He tried to talk me through a temporary fix on my own first, which I though was nice.

I moved into a new home on a Friday. The house had been empty for a year and there had been contractors in and out of the home during that time. I had no idea who still had keys so I needed to get the locks changed before I could move in. I called a number of locksmiths and no one could come out that Friday or even Saturday. The quickest was Monday. Judson tries not to work on Saturdays, but after explaining my situation, he showed up on Saturday and did a great job. His prices were also the best.

He is so sweet, prompt and helpful. We just moved here and he recommended everything from restaurants to lawn services.

Excellent! He arrived exactly when promised, and on the same day I called for the service. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, did the work efficiently and even used some salvaged parts to allow me to keep one lock that would otherwise have required replacement. He made no estimate until on site when he could see the requirements of the job, but then made and estimate before completing the work.

RELIABLE AND THOROUGH. HE LEFT A LOT OF SAWDUST AND SOME SCREWS ON THE FLOORS WHERE HE WAS WORKING. DID NO CLEAN UP WHATSOEVER. WHEN I CAME HOME AT ONE POINT HE HAD ALL OF HIS TOOLS AND PARTS ON MY LIVING ROOM CARPET WITH NO DROP CLOTH.

TIMELY, PLEASANT, COMPETENT. I THOUGHT THE INITIAL SERVICE CALL CHARGE SHOULD HAVE COVERED AN INCREMENT OF TIME (AT LEAST 15 MINUTES). HE ALSO CHARGES FOR MILEAGE OVER 5 MILES. VERY SATISFACTORY WORK. EVEN GAVE AN OVER THE PHONE TEMPORARY SOLUTION TO MY PROBLEM.

EXCELLENT WORK, CLEANED UP AFTEWARDS, OFFERED US CHOICES IN DIFFERENT PRICE RANGES, GAVE US INFORMATION ON SCREEN DOOR LOCKS WHICH HE DOESN'T HANDLE.

'JUD' HAS BEEN IN THE BUSINESS FOREVER AND HIS KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE ARE EVIDENT. HE IS ALWAYS PROMPT, TO THE POINT AND PROVIDES EXCELLENT SERVICE. HIS PRICES ARE A GREAT VALUE, WHICH IS ALSO EVIDENT ONCE YOU DO SOME PRICING AROUND.

JUD IS A SUPER NICE GUY. HE LET ME BRING MY LOCKS TO HIM RATHER THAN CHARGING ME A SERVICE CALL. I AM PERFECTLY CAPABLE OF INSTALLING LOCKSETS, I JUST NEED SOMEONE TO HANDLE KEYING TO MATCH. JUD SEEMS TO BE THE LAST LOCKSMITH ON EARTH THAT WILL DO THE REKEY WORK IN THEIR SHOP WHILE YOU WAIT.
