He has to come back tomorrow because he forgot something and in the cold, somethings kind of weren't right and he didn't even take any payment. He said I'm not taking any payment until it's complete. They put on our blinds in our other rooms before. It's great. They come out to your house and they talk to you and they measure and they come back in a couple of weeks and they hang it all up. They are very pleasant and clean. He puts booties on his feet. I told my husband, if I have anything else, I would call them for sure.
Description of Work: Budget Blinds came in and installed our blinds.

Description of Work: First, I made a request on their web page for a call. There was no response to that for several days, so I called, but the person who answered (sounded like a child) said that someone would have to call me back to talk about an appointment. Once someone called, an appointment was set and the man came on the date and time as promised. I had told him that I thought that I wanted shutters, but was open to other options. All I was shown was blinds. The choices were minimal, and the recommended one turned out to be out of proportion to the windows and room. Installation was good and prompt. I was surprised at the low quality of these blinds and how easily they were marked (gray marks). Whatever they are made of made them difficult to clean, as dust "clings" to the surface and they have to be actually washed, rather than dusted.

+ -1 moreThe experience was fine, until we complained that the blinds were not as we'd ordered. Although the company had clearly failed to provide the blinds we'd ordered, we were blamed for being difficult to please. At this point, we felt intimidated by the representative, who refused to refund our money, but offered to replace them. After waiting weeks for our blinds to be replaced, we were very disappointed when our blinds were returned differently than ordered a second time. At this point, we were finally offered a refund and we were able to move on. We did deal with defects in materials in the other blinds, and had to have parts replaced over a several week-long period. There were really too many issues to go into detail here.
Description of Work: We had horizontal blinds installed in three rooms of our home. We had originally ordered blinds for a fourth room, as well.

+ -1 moreThe work was done in two trips. The first was the work on 3 atrium doors in the master bedroom. We used this as a test of their work which turned out to be outstanding. The crew arrived on time and the work was completed in about an hour. The second phase consisted of replacing the blinds on 3 atrium doors in the family room, 1 atrium door and 2 windows in the kitchen. Once again we could not have asked for a better experience. In both cases the owner of the shop was on hand to supervise the work and make sure everything was done to his high standards. We would definitely recommend this shop.
Description of Work: Replaced blinds on 7 atrium doors and 2 windows with 2-1/2 inch wood shutters and removed the old blinds for disposal.

+ -1 moreExcellent. Bill Killion (owner) personally came out and removed the portion of blind necessary to allow the window repair to continue. He did this quickly and at no charge. Once the window replacement occurred, he promptly returned to reinstall the portion of blind that had previously been removed. Budget Blinds installed faux wood blinds in 3 separate rooms of my house in the past two years. Their price was highly competitive, bettering at least 2 other companies from whom I obtained estimates. My experience has been excellent in every category (i.e., price, quality, responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism).
Description of Work: I needed Budget Blinds to remove a portion of faux wood blinds they had previously installed in order for me to have a broken window removed and repaired.

+ -1 morePrice wise they were better than some of them but more than that they did what they said they were going to and I thought the installation went well and everything fit and it was exactly what they represented. I will use them again.

+ 1 moreI have worked with Budget Blinds of Edwardsville Company several times. I thought that the design that they chose on the drapes, curtains and blinds were much innovative than what I would have chosen. Everything fits perfectly. There was one small glitch, however, they came right out and took care of it. At another time, one thing broke but they came right out and fixed that. I had all these pictures and plaques that were still not hung from my most recent move. They gave me a quote on that service, came out within two hours and hung all of it for me. I couldn?t have done it myself because they were too heavy. I think it was a great price. They were very professional. There was no damage involved. They were great. I would use them in the future. I would stand on my roof and shout out about them; they were very good.
Description of Work: I got some blinds, drapes and curtains designed for my windows from Budget Blinds of Edwardsville. They came out and installed them about a year ago. They also hung some pictures and plaques for me.
