We wanted to get away from the wood burning. The one downstairs we had problems with it all the time and I ordered and come back in the house and I had installed them myself and they never worked the way they were supposed to so we switched over to gas logs and they were excellent. What he did in the basement he said rather than put an insert in he said I can get your old fireplace for cheaper than I can do the insert. The one upstairs is bricked in and the one downstairs was open. They replaced the whole thing and gave me a better price. Absolutely good. My neighbor back here I told him what I was going to do and he has got a much bigger fireplace. He said if you are considering the inserts why don't you go out to Gilbert's. I told to a place down the street here and I wasn't happy with them. They were very independent. We stayed there for half an hour they just wouldn't talk to you and all that. So I went out to this place and its two brothers. It is like a mom and pop operation. They are very concerned, conscientious, and careful. They went out of their way to solve problems. They piped in the gas and they had to get in externally to get in. They just solved a lot of problems and they were quick and easy. It only took them three days to do both of them. When I came back and I asked him I was going to get a fireplace screen he says well you know it was the manufacturer who makes the screen for the front of it and I said they are going to cost me another $200 he said no. I think it was real reasonable like 50 bucks or something like. He went and got it for me. He did the same thing on both of them so I am happy with that. I didn't need pre-stained screen. They really look nice and work nice. It looks like it was made to fit with it especially with the brickwork. They had an arch and they got molding for the outside of it which covers up the arcs and the thing sits in there.

He does excellent work. He is also reliable and easy to work with.

This company was easy to work with and all went very smoothly. My fireplace works great!
