I had an issue with my furnace back in Nov 2019 where I hired G&R to do the work. The customer service and expertise was great. They were able to replace the part pretty quickly. The cost was a little high but I need the work to be completed. Overall I was completely satisfied with the work that was done back in Nov. Fast forward to Jan 2020, hence my current rating. My furnace went out again. This time it was flashing an open roll out switch circuit was bad. Since G&R did a good job the last time I called them again. This time a different technician came out and advised that my motor fan needed to be replaced, I asked about the diagnostics of the open roll out switch and he advised that is not the issue. He then proceed to tell me that I should just replace the furnace since it's old because he couldn't guarantee the motor fan was the true issue.. To replace the motor fan would be $1200 to replace the furnace would 5k. As I was trying to make a decision on what to do, the technician then advised I should replace my air conditioner as well since my air conditioner coil sits under my furnace, the cost to replace both was quoted 9k. I wasn't getting a good vibe from the technician so I told him to just replace the motor fan. The technician continued to tell me he couldn't guarantee the work and the fan is non-refundable. With that I told to leave it all alone and I'd call someone else. I called a local company which had a tech out in 15mins. The tech found the roll out circuit switch that was bad, had it replaced in 20mins and my house was warm again. I felt the technician that G&R sent out the second time was only their to make money instead of providing the best customer service therefore the rating I'm giving today is based off the my second experience with G&R

Shop around before you hire these guys. I had a service call (regular weekday hours) and issue was a gas valve and 1200 was the quote to fix. 10K was the quote to replace the furnace/ac unit, 10,700 if I wanted their premium brand Carrier. I got the gas valve fixed for 500 from a competitor and they laughed and said I wish I could get 1200 for a gas valve.&; I also got 3 other quotes to replace that came in between 5k and 6500 including one that was the same premium brand carrier.

The service call was $95....no problem. He ran out to get a fuse and solved the problem. But the total bill came to $220 for a total of about one hours worth of total time spent on job, including diagnosis, parts and labor. That seemed a bit excessive.

The furnace was clean and a whipe down was done. Not a full vacuum experience that I was expecting from my experience with other companies. The company is very responsive. I opened my request on Thanksgiving Day and got a call that day which I was not expecting.Scheduled the appointment. Got texts and reminders about my appointment and whom my professional was. Well done, but may consider someone else over the cleaning experience.

So far so good-they were able to get the heat operating again but will need to come back to finalize repair as the part that was faulty was not readily available today. Appreciated the full check of our furnace as an additional worn part was discovered and it was recommended that it be replaced at the same time as the other part to avoid future problems/loss of operation of our furnace. Very respectful of my schedule -they came on the same day I called-I had called two other companies and neither was available until the next day-burrrrr! I was also pleased with their respect of our home! Not sure if their pricing is competitive, as I have no source for that information, but I do know that our furnace is running again and that I was treated well.

Donâ t hire them! I called to get my humidifier working. The first guy that came out said he fixed it and I decided to take out a yearly service contract with them. I had noticed the humidifier never came on after that so I called them back. The next guy that came out told me I needed a new motherboard in my furnace because the circuit wasnâ t giving power to the humidifier. I called another company and my humidifier was repaired in 15 minutes and is still working. I did not need a motherboard or any of the parts G&R wanted to replace. I wrote to G&R to get a refund for the balance of the unused service contract and they told me it was nonrefundable. I read the contract and nowhere does it say that. I wrote back to G$R and they finally decided to give me a portion of the unused balance. Weâ ll see. I feel Iâ ve been taken for a ride by this outfit because I am a senior citizen. I do not recommend them! Be careful because the same company also goes by other names.

We were very pleased with the service we received. Tim Luehring was extremely thorough and explained the issues very well. He worked efficiently and was friendly. It was clear he was very experienced. Would definitely use them again! I only wish the quote separated the parts and labor prices. Each part was only listed with a combined parts and labor price. I would have liked to be able to see what I was paying for the parts and labor separately.
