When I first talked to Mike on the phone, he asked me to take a picture of the pipe that was broken. I sent him a picture of my leaking pipe, and told him it?s two feet long. He came over, looked at it and started telling me about other work that needed to be done in my basement. I live in a 130+ year old home and I know what works and what doesn?t. He made me very uneasy about how much he was walking around my basement, nowhere near the leaky pipe. He told me he would come back the next day. I didn?t understand why he didn?t fix it- I was unable to use my kitchen sink because of it. But I said ok. At the time he was supposed to be at my house the next day, he called me to say he had food poisoning, but he would be at my house the next day. I gave him one more try and he blew off that appointment. I called him three times- no answer. I found another plumber from someone else, that came out that same day and replaced my leaky pipe - and charged me less than what Mike bid.

I received 3 quotes and Mike was the best overall value. Does an incredible job communicating, providing information, then, of course, executes to the quote. Very impressive and I will use them for all my plumbing needs and highly recommend them. Wish we would have known about Mike years ago.

Wagner and Sons (Mike) was a decent, kind man who explained everything. I asked him about my boiler and he gave me a recommendation. I also asked about a spicket and he will come back when the weather gets warmer. I really felt comfortable about everything. Thank you, Mike.

Mike returned calls quickly and was able to set up a home service call within 2 days to replace an outdoor leaky faucet He was pleasant, efficient and professional. He left his work area clean and dry. He gave me advice about the water heater and also how to avoid having the outdoor faucet freeze up. I have no idea with these service calls cost and no one wants to pay hundreds of dollars but I am assuming he is inline with other companies. He did give a 90 day warranty and also said he would come out again even after the warranty ran out if there was a problem with his work. I would not hesitate to contact him again or to refer him to anyone looking for a plumber

Mike was fast, efficient, and did a great job. He explained what he would need to do and how much it would cost worst case and best case. He was able to replace the inside pipe right away, and have someone come out within a few days to dig up the outside pipe. I highly recommend Mike Wagner.

Very nice and accommodating . Replaced my leaking water heater promptly and removed all traces of old unit. I just had my knee replaced and was unable to even clear out the clutter around the old tank. He did it all without question. A really nice guy and a good price. I will certainly call him again for any plumbing issues.

When our sewer line backed up, our first call was to a big box plumbing company. They put a camera in our line and found roots, and then wrote a plan to put in a cleanout with about 4 feet of pipe for a "small" sum of $20k. We had already signed the paperwork to go through with this when we found Wagner & Sons Plumbing. Michael Wagner was on the phone with me within minutes of me entering my inquiry and assured me that I was getting ripped off (which I was), and that he could take care of the job for a fraction of the cost and at tenfold the quality. He absolutely delivered on that. Because of the Easter holiday weekend and some terrible luck with weather following that, it took about 10 days, but the clay pipe from the house to the sidewalk (about 25 feet) was replaced, an outdoor cleanout station added, and inspection passed in about 6-hours time. They charged $6k for the entire job, and even fixed our toilet that the previous company took off. Great service and a friendly company!

I canâ t say enough about the excellent service I received from Wagner & Sons. My water heater broke and not only did they come out right away and fix a separate leak that sprouted up through no fault of their own, they did it all for a very reasonable and fair price. I received three quotes for the job and they were HALF of the other two companies with no haggling or negotiation. Donâ t hesitate to hire. Good guys-good work!

I had only the one problem where the time they were suppose to show up kept changing. Past that they were fine. They came , they identified the problem quickly, fixed it and the clogged drain was cleared.

Consumers aren't often experts and have questions. Mike took time to explain important details and processes. He was professional, knowledgeable, prompt and fair. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone else and will use him again.

Wagner and sons initially responded quickly to our needs and repaired a broken sewer line in a timely fashion. However, they had promised to replace the incoming water valves and some copper tubing and we are still waiting for that work to be done. We gave them 5 stars after the first work was done but have deducted ONE STAR for every month that has gone by that they have not kept their promise and completed the work. We PAID IN FULL after they completed the sewer repair but they still have not come back to finish the rest of the work we paid for. Wagner and sons contacted us once to come and finish the work, but they only gave us 20 minutes notice which was much less than the 1 week notice they had said they would give us. We are still hopeful they will come and finish the job. The moral of our story is to not pay in full until the job is completed.
