After reading some good reviews from this company I decided to give them a call to come out and quote a backup generator. Their technician came out on time and took a look at everything and was very knowledgeable and thorough, however he said I should receive a quote in a few days to a week tops. Two weeks later I'm still waiting to see that quote. I e-mailed the company asking where the quote was, called three times and still no quote. I left 2 messages with 0 contact back. On the last call on 5/17/16 a nice woman answered and appeared to speak quickly the owner Dan to which she told me to expect the quote that night. Low and behold, still no quote on 5/19/16 Obviously they are either understaffed or just plain don't want my business. It's a shame because I was quoted 7,300 from another vendor so it's not like it was a throw away job. I've been forced to find more alternatives and quote through their competitors. Might be a nice company and nice people, just not good with communication or follow-up. I even told the guy that came out to look at my house that this project was a definite go and he spoke about how they didn't have much install business right now due to the mild winter so why there has been no response is beyond me.

We've had an excellent experience working with Dann from Trusted Power Systems. Dann installed 2 backup generators for our commercial buildings and his experience and expertise really shined during the project. The project required coordination with with the local gas company, other company contractors and management staff. Dann keeped everyone informed on the process, timelines and kept everything on schedule. His pricing is very competitive and you also get the personal attention that is often lost with bigger outfits. I would recommend Dann to anyone that is thinking of installing a generator.

Trusted Power Systems is a terrific company to do business with and comes highly recommended. Dan Marr and his staff are professionals that know what they are doing. Not only did we get a great price for the work that was done, we got really great service. We had been interested in getting a whole house generator for a long time. We met Dan at the Pheasant Run Old House / New House show. He was very informative and answered all of our questions regarding the installation process, maintenance, cost, ect.....He was obviously very educated and passionate about his work and his company. Based on that first meeting with Dan I would have been comfortable giving Trusted Power Systems our business, but this is a big job and not inexpensive so my husband and I got several quotes. All of the quotes were for the same size generator but came in significantly higher. In the process of getting the quotes we did not get the personal attention that we did from Trusted Power Systems. So our decision was not just based on price but also service. I know that if I have a problem or question I can call and speak to Dan directly. There is something to be said for doing business with a family owned and operated company.

From our first meeting , Dan was honest and provided a very competitive quote. He explained the backup system and how we should protect our power when the electrical system goes out. Well above the other companies I met. Would recommend Trusted Power to anyone.

As far as I know everything went well. He looked it over and did whatever they are suppose to do when they do an inspection and tune it up. I just wished they would have given me some kind of invoice on what he actually did. I did ask the serviceman if I'm to sign any paperwork to show what was done. He said the company would e-mail it to me. Haven't recv'd anything as of yet and today is the 10th but that could be they are behind in their paperwork. Hope to get it soon to see what was actually done. Like to keep the bills on file and what was done in case I sell the house one day they will see when it was last serviced.

They were very punctual and thorough. Made sure that everything was functioning well.

No issues with work performed nor with the scheduling. We scheduled at a busy time of year and they were professional and timely.

Everything went well. he had to order the starter which took 2 days. He returned promptly and fixed my problem. I plan on using him again in the near future.

Showed up on time, completed job as specified and there were no hidden costs or upcharges once work began. Crew was pleasant and respectful of our property. In 2013 the same folks installed a whole house generator at our home.

It went great. Moved into our home about 3 years ago and there was a generator already installed. I had Dan out to give it a tune up and go over with me the functions of the unit. It spent so much time explaining to me how the system works and answered all my questions. It was clear he had been well trained and knew the equipment very well. He made some suggestions on some items I needed to have upgraded. I highly recommend Marr electric for any of your needs.

He was very informed. He was honest. My generator is old and he didn't have the filter, he said he could drop it off but we thought it would be better if he mailed it to us. I was very pleased. I would let him touch my generator again.

Outstanding service. From the initial estimate to the completion of the job, Dan (owner at Marr Electric) was professional, punctual and went the extra mile to ensure our satisfaction. This is a small business, and they are absolutely committed to doing the job right. There were problems with our electrical system that we're unknown prior to the job, and Dan took it upon himself to repair them. He is a tireless worker. This is a small company that deserves more customers due to Dan's commitment.

He was very professional and did an excellent job. He also at no additional charge provided valuable information about the operation and availability of spare parts. He made sure to clean his work area and was extremely polite and helpful in all respects.

We experienced numerous power outages and decided it was time to invest in a whole house generator. This was important because we are taking care of a relative who needs medical attention. Being without power was becoming a hardship. There is another selfish reason. We also missed the Blackhawk final Stanley cup game because we lost power for a day. I think that was when we decided to get a whole house generator. After getting 3 quotes we decided to go with Dan at Marr Electric. They not only came in with the fairest quote but the fact that Dan and his wife Katie were so friendly sealed the deal. Dan patiently walked me thru the care and maintenance of the generator. He assured me that I could call him any time and he would come out and handle any repairs or adjustments that may be needed. Overall , Dan, Paul and Katie gave our family the reassurance that we were in good hands and that we did not feel we were taken advantage of. We highly recommend Marr Electric and you will too.

Plagued by frequent power outages of varying duration, we finally decided to install a backup generator. We wanted something which would require low maintenance and would operate unattended in the event we were not home when an outage occurred (so our sump pump, which has limited battery backup, wouldn't quit while we were at work, for instance). We also wanted to power the entire house, not just a few emergency circuits. We determined that a natural-gas powered unit, while relatively costly, would fill these requirements. We obtained four proposals from local distributors and chose Marr, both for price and ability to answer our questions in a straightforward way. Installation was delayed a few weeks due to the limited availability of backup generators, which seem to be in high demand presently, because of several recent large storms in the eastern half of the country. The entire installation, which took most of a day, was done expeditiously and with a thorough explanation of maintenance and operational issues. Dan Marr and his crew were a pleasure to work with.

I have had an ongoing sump pump issue where the sump pump is continually pumping water. I cannot afford to lose power for very long because my basement floods quickly. I decided to go with a whole house generator and found Dan to be knowledgeable about options and he was punctual, affordable and efficient. I am so happy I had the generator installed because I had a power outage this past summer during the drought and heat wave. It lasted for eight hours and the generator kicked on and kept the sump pumps running as well as supplying electricity to other parts of the house. I now feel much more secure about keeping a dry basement. It was well worth the cost. Dan has done other electrical work for me also and I have been very happy with all of his work.

Working with Dan and Paul was great. Dan is the owner and was very patient in working with us. We have been in our home for seven months so we had a long list of electrical upgrades and changes. We started talking to Dan in March and it took us a while to get all fixtures ordered and delivered. Once we had all the fixtures, Dan made a visit to look at all of the fixtures and to ensure that there would be no issues with installing the items. He also provided peace of mind to us since this is our first house and we had never worked with an electrician. I highly recommend Marr Electric. Dan was patient and explained how he would install something before he actually installed it. This step ensured we were fine with the location of a fixture. There was a lot of cutting in the dry wall considering all of the work performed, yet there is only one minor repair to the dry wall in one of the bathrooms that needs to be made. Dan and Paul completed the work in a timely manner and cleaned up the work sites. They were on time and worked long hours. We signed a contract with an itemized list of the work and prices. Payment was due once all services were completed. Our fixtures look great. If you are looking for someone who is patient, honest and has reasonable rates, call Dan at Marr Electric.

They were very courteous, professional, and punctual. The service was done quickly and at a price that was better than two other quotes I received. Marr also installed a home electric generator for my parents about a month ago and they experienced the same service and quality - hence why I hired them to do the fan. I have a list of other projects around my place I will be using them for.
