On the slow computer, they ran some basic software to clean things up. I could have done that myself, and was really looking for more help. The one with power connection problems needed physical repair. They ordered parts and "fixed" it after about a month. I'm not sure what they really did, or if they diagnosed the problem correctly, because the computer is doing the same thing again. I suspect they replaced a part that wasn't really broken, and inadvertently secured a loose connection. Now my problem is back. They did not keep in touch with me with phone calls as promised, and the shop was not always open during their "normal" business hours. While their website touts themselves as professionals, not just school kids, the manager told me he was short staffed because some of his staff was going off to college. They did not provide an estimate prior to working on the computer. I probably should have asked for one.
Description of Work: I dropped off two laptops. One which ran slow and the other that had trouble with power connections.
