Mr. Needham arrived on time. He was joined by his wife. The two made a good team. Both were very polite and professional. Mr. Needham was very knowledgable and explained what he was going to do. He offered possible solutions to each problem area. He answered each question I asked. I recently received a package from Mr. Needham. The package contained a detailed report of the results from the energy audit. The package also included a CD that shows the infrared images captured by the thermal imaging camera. It is very useful to see where and how I am losing energy. Now, I know what I need to do to solve the problem.

I was referred to Jerry from another service provider and he did not disappoint! We were extremely impressed with the amount of attention Jerry gave every little detail. After sitting us down and explaining exactly what to expect and listening to our list of "problem areas" Jerry took us around with his thermal camera. It was immediate that his slogan "We Never Guess" is the truth, I was amazed to see how sensitive the camera was and how it was able to pinpoint all the poorly insulated areas in our home. We had guessed correctly on a few areas but without his thermal imaging there is no way we would have discovered all the leaky areas. After that quick run through he installed his door fan which exposed even more areas of concern. He was extremely thorough going through our entire home and attic. After the inspection he let me copy all the images from his camera to my computer as well as walking us through and making suggestions as to what I could repair myself and what was best left to the professionals. With the amount of money I have already saved in energy costs, Jerry's evaluation is well worth the investment!

Top notch service by Jerry and his assistant. Very complete inspection of the attic, basement perimeter, walls, ceiling. He discovered I had poor ventilation in my main attic - something that I did not expect at all. Jerry writes a very complete report and provides a disk with all the thermal imaging pictures he takes. He is available after the inspection report to answer any questions. I definitely can vouch for his guidance in this repect. Also the research he did for me on the moss growing on the roof and the most effective removal product was an added benefit. I learned that he is highly respected by other contractors for his knowledge on the proper way to seal the house against air infiltration, prepare or fix heating and cooling ductwork, insulation, etc.

A very positive experience. They were very thorough, very professional, and put up with all my questions. I can't believe I did not do this sooner. It was very eye opening. They provided me with a detailed report, all the photos, and all the thermal scans where my house was leaking air and the thermal images showed me all the cold spots. They showed me where my cold air returns were leaking air and where I needed to caulk to reduce drafts. They gave me a prioritized to do list on how to fix all my problems. They found mold in the attic, even though I have plenty of insulation and bathroom exhaust fans, they determined that humid air is leaking through light fixtures, ceiling fans, and tiny holes into the attic and accumlating on the plywood under my shingles. I was very pleased with what they found, and very disgusted at the same time, as I have a long list of things to do to make my home more energy efficient, but that's precisely what I was hoping for. One of the best experiences I've had and I now know what I need to get after to make my home more comfortable, more energy efficient, and healthier for me and my family. They left Saturday afternoon and Jerry said he was so concerned about the mold in the attic he must have worked most of the weekend and had sent me my test results and recommendations by Sunday night ! I highly recommend this company and this audit to anyone who has a drafty home or is paying too much to heat or cool it. I'm convinced the money spent on this audit will pay back big time, and quickly at that.
