Norm's Carpet Cleaning

Had the best experience with Norm's today! Loved the guys that came to the house to clean my very dirty couch. I never saw it look that amazing!

Norms returned my initial call within a few hours. I requested a quote due to the large area to be cleaned. Danny and Eric showed up on time to provide an estimate which was a lot less than other estimates I received. Danny and Eric showed up on time to clean carpets in my entire house. They were professional and polite and took great care with my furniture. I had many pet stains in one room which seemed to be gone after cleaning. Danny explained that if any returned, I should call them and they would come back free of charge and retreat the spots. I called them 2 weeks later about a few returning spots and they came back to treat within a few days. I am very happy with the service and responsiveness and will definitely use Norms again.

Chris and his partner did an excellent job. They were running a little late, but called to let me know. Before leaving they explained what might cause the spot at bottom of the stairs to reappear, and in that event I could call to have it re-cleaned at no additional charge. Both were professional and courteous, and they did an excellent job!

Job was completed as planned. We do not feel that their Steam cleaning process left our carpet as cleaned as we expected. In multiple area I needed to clean areas myself. Missed to many soiled areas.

Great! It was a straightforward cleaning and they were faster than promised which was a nice surprise. I liked that they don't use alot of unnecessary chemicals, would definitely use them again.

Well. Crew was prompt, courteous, professional. Did leave some spots that were not visible until the carpet dried. I was able to remove them with some spot carpet cleaner and a brush myself.

They did a nice job. My husband used them twice in his office. The cost was $428 for the whole house.

Norms did a great job. Very friendly. Good work. They even came back a second time for additional spot treating at no extra charge. We greatly appreciate their conscientious and thorough service.

The carpets were really dirty and are about 20 years old. They did an excellent job and there were no hidden fees or surprises.

The carpet in this area had been cleaned, but not professionally. Too much detergent was used and so after a week or two the carpet looked very dirty again. Actually, they looked so soiled that I thought all this carpet had been ruined, but I thought it was worth giving a professional carpet cleaner a try to see if the carpet could be restored. I contacted Norm's Carpet Cleaning and they came in and looked over the area to be cleaned, gave me an estimate, and proceeded to clean the carpets. They did a great job. All the carpeting looks marvelous. I am so pleased with their work. Very professional. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again in the future.

Great cleaning, friendly and professional techs. Costs more but worth it for the better cleaning and no "up selling pitch". The price listed below is based on two levels of carpeted floors and two flights of stairs Plus numerous large area carpets.

Norm's sent someone out to give us an estimate, and they did a great job of explaining the process. The guys that came to clean the carpets were on-time, professional, and explained the entire process. They moved all the furniture, and put it up on small blocks to protect it and the carpets. Strangely enough we had a hot-water heater fail on us the night before, so an area of our carpet in the basement was soaking wet. They were able to suck up a lot of the water for us and suggested ways to make sure it dried completely. We were not there when they performed the work, but they did a great job and when we returned home our carpets were clean, and the grout looked pretty good. We weren't expecting miracles on the grout, but overall, it turned out better than we expected.

Norm's is great. This is the second time I have used them for area rug cleaning. Both experiences exceed expectations. The first time we were in the middle of a remodel and the project got behind. I did not want my clean rugs coming back to a filthy house. When I called they were very understanding and kept my area rugs clean and safe until I was ready to take them back. The second time they were right on time, called before they arrived for both the pickup and delivery and were quick and friendly. Most importantly, my rugs always come back looking new and fresh! Oh, and did I mention this last time was right before the holidays - they said a week and I got it back in just a few days. Awesome.

They showed up when they said they would; the 2 young men were courteous and let me know exactly what they would do. They were respectful of my home. They worked efficiently and the cleaning was done very well.

It went great from initial quote/contact via email. The initial contact of price estimate was fast, and the next contact with how to prepare and confirmation of arrival time was great. Great follow up when I didn't receive something, the follow up ensured I did (when I dropped the ball). The estimate of price was on target when they arrived - no games, no up sell, no additional add on cost. In fact, price was better than I expected, due to Angieslist member discount. They called about 20 minutes before they arrived, showed up on time. Waited at front door until I invited them in (very polite/courteous). Actual quote at time of service/arrival was fast and efficient and again a very fair price. The work was done efficiently, and the carpeting looks great/work was fantastic. Michael and Matt were very personable/friendly. They worked hard and efficiently, but able to take a moment and chat to make me feel at ease. I felt at ease to ask questions, etc. They take cash, check or credit card, and if you use credit card, they send you an email receipt right away if you want for both service and payment. This was a great experience - and I am a tough customer, but I don't have a single bad thing to say! Use these guys! Thanks Michael and Matt!

the job i contracted for included the carpet and floor cleaning AND carpet stretching. i was told by the owner,chris newman, the wrinkles in the carpets would look worse after the cleaning so for $300 additional he would personally return 1 week after the cleaning to stretch the carpets. after 4 phone calls and 4 weeks i have not so much as received the courtesy of a return call. with my 4th and last last phone call the receptionist apologized profusely and said she would give chris the message personally as well as mark the message URGENT. needless to say this didn't make any difference. i was advised by chris to leave everything off of the carpet areas so after nearly a month of having my home in disorder i have put things back realizing he has no intention of returning my calls or completing the job. while a decent cleaning job was performed i would not recommend or ever consider using norm's carpet cleaning again. it is a shame that i personally knew norm sr and norm jr whose reputations with carpet cleaning were impeccable. the fact that chris newman continues in business using their business name and offering such shoddy service is a shame.

I was able to get an appointment quickly as requested. They arrived on time, were professional and polite. They measured and gave me the price, which was slightly below the quote. They were respectful of my furniture and belongings. The carpet looks beautiful! I will definitely use them again.

Awesome is the only word to describe the experience. My carpets have never looked better. It is as if they rolled back the clock to when the carpets were newly installed 9 years ago! I called on 5/19 for the appointment and the team was there the next day. This is a family run business and their knowledge, professionalism, courtesy and service blows away the competition. Those big name national providers always try to up-sell, don't care about the service and have technicians who have no pride in their work. This is NOT what you'll get from Norm's. From Norm's you will deal with people who are passionate about what they do, care about their customer and provide a high quality service which is inclusive of everything for a reasonable price. When Norm's provides a price that's the cost, period, end of story. Other companies charge you for add-ons that should be part of the price. Norm's is not the least expensive carpet cleaning company but they are also far from the highest priced company. Simply put, if you want to work with great people, who do a great job for a fair price, call Norm's. The only people touching the rugs in my house from here on out will be from Norm's Carpet Cleaning.

This company was great, I called on Monday they were out on Wednesday to clean. The guys were prompt, courteous, professional, very nice guys. Did a great job! Huge improvement on my stairs, the carpet was pretty dirty, looks great! I will defiantly be calling them back to do the rest of the house and furniture. I have used many other carpet companies in the past, but Norms will be my go to from now on. Thank you so much Michelle

I was very pleased with their service. The gal who answered the phone wasn't as empathetic as I would have liked in my moment of panic, but I went ahead and kept the appointment for the following day. I'm glad that I did. Chris and his team member came out and were very diligent in getting the stain out. They also took care of our stairs and upstairs hallway; I can't believe how good they look! He even took care of some spots on our front room carpet on his own just because he noticed them. I had asked upon arrival if they could add the stairs; it was not a problem at all and the additional charge was very reasonable over their initial service fee for the visit. Best of all, the yellow paint stain came out and the carpet looks great even after I had made some attempts to remove the stain myself first. Note: Let the professionals do it! Will definitely call them again in the future to do additional rooms!

The crew arrived a bit later than we'd hoped. (About 1 hr). They surveyed the areas and gave us a firm cost which was very close to the estimate provided on the phone. The team of two cleaned everything extremely well. We had a lot of stains from our two toddlers and from lots of coffee drips from mommy and daddy. They got all stains out and the carpets looked excellent. They were quick and thorough. They were polite and professional and I must say 100 times better than another provide I've used in the past. They will be our go-to service.

The providers showed up on time ---- the services were done timely ----- the team members were very couteous and professional. Very pleased with the service provided.

They did a great job. They moved furniture and cleaned under and behind the couch. Heavy pieces were put on Styrofoam blocks. They took care to especially address heavily trafficked areas. Overall they are a pleasure to work with and will explain and tackle any stain. If they can't remove it completely (e.g., wear area), you will get an explanation. I appreciate also they are careful not to damage the wood trim on the stairways.
