DOUBLE S MASONRY & CARPENTRY

We hired double S, because my husband's brother Bob Degeeter worked for Ron Sei who owned and ran the business, we thought! Kurt came out had us pick out door, Brad Waters his worker did the work. This was 3 years ago. The door leaked air , horribly. Kurt came out 3x. Caulked. Winter came, we could hear the whistle from wind at the door also very cold. We taped, hung blankets. It was awful. I believe Kurt came out following spring did I don't know what. The following winter, same crap. Found out Ronnie wrote article in Geneseo paper, he was not involved with his business any longer due to greed and other negative reasons. We trusted Kurt due to history. He never answered our phone calls or returned calls for entire year. We hired a local carpenter, who said the door was not square. He and his helper worked on the door, no more leaking. They had to re caulk ect. Paid Kurt $4000 for a door we don't even know what kind it is, the bill was very simple, no breakdown of cost. We can't find on door who made it. In my experience, good to excellent doors would have all information somewhere. I'm now 10-21 repairing the cement in front of outside threshold, due to flaking of and looks like crap. I find out he didn't replace the old threshold wood. This house built in 1948. Most wood has been rotten. Before we found out all the bad stuff we gave him Bob Degeeters old wood levels, one being 4 foot long, he wanted something to remember Bob who he said was like a father figure Kurt, hope karma gets ya. P.S. I would have wrote review earlier, I looked for a site to, but there were none.
