Rail City Home Improvement was the contractor utilized by Munson's Pool & Spa for installation. They prepared the ground and installed the above ground pool. The actual installation of the pool appears to be appropriate at this time. However, there was significant damage done to the lawn during the excavation. When the excess ground was moved a rut upwards of 10 inches was made through our lawn. Pictures of this were reviewed by Rail City. When the issue was addressed with Rail City Home Improvement, I was told that this type of damage was to be expected. Initially, there was no offer to correct the damage without further payment. When I relayed that the payment check had been cancelled, there were some treats made by Rail City - i.e. lawsuit & physical removal of the pool (which we purchased for over 5K from Munson's). Eventually, Rail City agreed to return for the cost of gas to fix the damage if the check for the initial project was repaid. After the conversation, I thought better of having Rail City Home Improvement back on my property and opted to have the damage corrected by other means and sent Rail City Home Improvement the full payment. I simply did not want Rail City Home Improvement back on my property for any reason.
