The backhoe contractor and plumber arrived on time the next morning and began their work. I observed them throughout the day and saw that they were doing everything that they could do to keep my property from being destroyed and to do the work in the least amount of time. The work was completed before the end of the day I asked the plumber to replace one water hydrant and to add another to the back of the house. He scheduled me for the following Monday and the Plumber again showed up on time and completed the work in a short amount of time. I had not asked for an estimate on this work and when the bill arrived there was a complete list of material individually priced along with the hourly labor cost., All of the work was done in a professional manor at a reasonable price. This is the 2nd time I have used this company this year. Benbow will be my first contact should i need other work done in the future.

They are reputable, do good work, and respond quickly. I suppose you could say they are expensive but everybody is.

The work was performed in a professional manor for the price quoted. The service man removed pipe debris that was not generated by him. I plan to have them replace a broken waterline from the main service to the house next month.

The whole experience was very pleasant and professional. I placed a second call to the company regarding a general quote for a new HVAC system and had more than an hour conversation with Mr. Benbow regarding new units, energy efficiency, and how to more environmentally seal my home. I would highly recommend them for any Heating/AC or Plumbing services. Not only was the service quick, but the price was very reasonable. They also sent a bill as opposed to requiring payment at the time of service.

The service technitian showed up exactly on time. he efficiently appraised the problems and perfermed the repairs and installation. When he was through he offered to take and dispose of the old piping and pump. I was charged in accordance with the telephone quote. There were no surprises . I plan to move my laundry from the basement to the main floor of my house and Benbow is who I will call.

Benbow is always my plumber/heating and AC/mechanical contractor of choice. They are always available by phone, they are punctual, they get the job done right, and as a repeat customer I get a discount. And they bill (after the first service) so I can pay along with my regular monthly bills. Excellent family-owned local company. In business in Galesburg since 1932. They have helped me deal with several cranky low-flow toilets, and when my furnace seemed to mysteriously stop heating last winter, they were able to find the problem easily and install the correct inflow and outflow pipes quickly and reasonably on the exterior of my house. They also gave me what i think is a very reasonable estimate to have central AC installed. Will use them whenever I need plumbing, heating and/or AC services.
