Again... (answer copied from last question...) We are relocating, so selling our home is crutial since my husband and I have been separated for 9 weeks thus far. The first realtor from this office that we were appointed to sell our home (July 27,2011) is the same agent we used to buy this house (2006). At the time she was wonderful. However, she kind of "checked out" after a few weeks and did not return phone calls, etc. We contacted our relocation company who contacted the Century 21 Tucker Swanson office for some answers and let them know that we were planning to break contract and list with another agent, elsewhere. Century 21 informed the relocation company that our agent was dealing with a family illness and wanted to give us a different agent so we would stay with their office. We agreed, no problem. Cheryl Paulsgrove could not help that she had family issues, but advised the office that we would have appreciated a phone call from them, keeping us informed. It was the least they could do. Judy Lowthian was the second agent they assigned to us. She was worthless to say the least. After meeting with her and ironing through all the details of our listing, we asked her what her plan was to sell our house and she questioned what we asking of her. It was simple. What is your plan? Open houses? What are you planning to do to market our home? She didn't "plan" to do anything...not even an open house..."they don't work" according to her (even though the two Cheryl (willingly) held for us generated interest...sounds like open houses work to me!) I didn't care what she thought, I wanted an open house. Finally after three nagging phone calls, she agreed to hold one (which generated interest, I might add). We also wanted to include a home warranty so she said she would draft one up for us, and I would have it in a couple of days....nearly two weeks later, no warranty drafted and no phone calls. Matter of fact, we haven't heard from her once in the past 4 weeks! We again called our relocation company who then called Judy and offered her ideas to market our house...offer a gas card to all who view...offer $5000 off asking price for one week only for anyone who tours...hold a "poker run" and put area houses on a big tour...they were great ideas!! I was excited!! Judy turned them all down..."they won't work". Needless to say, today (October 7, 2011) we fired Judy Lowthian and Century 21 Tucker Swanson today...Why?? BECAUSE SHE "WON'T WORK"!! Take your business elsewhere.
