Loescher Heating & Air Conditioning

Jim was great to work with, very friendly, knew his stuff. I've been looking for a new plumber for years since my previous one retired. I haven't been comfortable with others in my area. I will definately call Loescher's again! Thanks folks! DBJr

In two years time they came out approximately 2 to 3 times a month every winter to fix the same problem. Every time they said it was a different reason for the problem for the boiler to overfill. The water would come out of the radiators and on the 2nd floor the water would shoot out so forcefully it would hit the 10 foot ceilings. There was work done each time, but the problem was never fixed. After a year and a half I told them I didn't feel I should have to pay anymore, having already spent over $2000 and the problem was never fixed. Their last response to me, after being here 3 times in two weeks at the end of last winter, was that the problems were unrelated. Odd, the problem stayed the same for 2 years, but they say the problems were unrelated. Some of the things they did might have been needed, but the problem they were called out for was never fixed. I feel they didn't know what the problem was so continued "trying" to figure it out by process of elimination. For 2 years. At over $2000. I definitely DO NOT recommend them as I don't think I was charged fairly for a problem that was never fixed. A good analogy would be having your brakes go out and when you take it to the mechanic they fix the windshield wipers, give it a tune up, take out some dents, but do NOT fix the problem of the brakes. By the end of last winter I had spent close to $3000. DO NOT use these people.

Awesome,on call arrived within an hour,diagnosed problem,even called another service person to make sure had right diagnosis(no extra cost),gave me cost for parts,labor,etc.parts came next morning,air fixed within 24 hours.Total bill was $5 more than quoted price.Both workers gave information to help run air more efficiently.

They did an excellent job of installing our new furnace.

Tom was our initial contact and salesman. He was great!! Nathan and Jay did the installation. They were much faster than I thought. They were very nice and did very good work. They did a great job of cleaning up after they were done. I would strongly recommend them all.

Installed Air Conditioner Unit and Furnace

The delivery and install of the fireplace was very neat and efficient. The sales man was very insightful and caring in helping select what best fit my needs. I would highly recommend using Loescher, for not only fireplace installment, but also any of their other services. I have used them for years and never had any issues with their products or service!

The salesman was very hands on and made sure everything went as smooth as possible. All items have been working properly and we are very happy with the new fireplace they installed.

I decided to have central air installed and after receiving an estimate for the furnace, I had Loescher complete both as my furnace was over 20 years old. I could not have asked for better service. I have used loescher in the past for repairs and they are honest and dependable.

The service technician showed up promptly and did a great job. He had to go back to the shop and build some of the parts for the duct work. He was pleasant, and proffessional. He answered all of my questions regarding the new unit. The removal of the old gas line was an extra and I was not charged for it. I was very happy with the work that was done and will definately use this company again. I would highly recommend them. The Loescher Heating and Air Conditioning that I used is out of Rock Falls, IL. Tim Morthland is the gentleman that I dealt with.

This company was the subcontractor that originally installed the units when our house was built 16 years ago and we have continued using them since. They seem to do a good job, never have had a problem with their quality of work. The only issue I have is that Loescher used to be two different companies and when they did the original installation, there was some kind of issue with it, 16 years ago. We went with a different company because of it, but then Loescher and Bettner, our previous company, merged and I haven't had any issues with them since then. They come out when I need them to and every now and then they may be a little late, but it is to be expected with that line of work as you don't know how long a job will last. I will continue to use them.

They came out in the middle of winter and replaced a part. He had to leave and go pick up the part; then came back and put it on. The price was real reasonable. It is a bigger company but their service tech was a real nice guy. About two or three days later I thought I smelled gas again and they came right out. It turned out to be nothing but we have had real good experiences with them. They are very honest and courteous. I will use them again in the future.
