I paid $175 for a twice a year visit. Once for the Air Conditioner in the Spring and then in the Fall for the furnace. When they came out they were very professional, they cleaned my air conditioning unit, told me the correct filters to use, and when they checked the furnace they installed a new thermostat and they were nice enough to tell me it would be cheaper to buy my own thermostat. I was never overcharged.

I will continue to use them. They are all A's across the board.

They provide excellent service. I think the pricing is a little high, but overall, heating and air conditioning is not cheap. It's probably about average, but I think it's expensive whenever they have to come out. But I've never had a problem. The service is excellent. I called them one day and they were out here the very next morning and that was in the middle of a heat wave.

They came out the same day. They worked around my schedule. When the technician arrived, he was very courteous & professional. He walked me through everything he was looking for & explained what was wrong. He gave me a price to repair the furnace before he replaced the motor. I was very happy with the service & professionalism the technician gave me. I will be using this company in the future & highly recommend them to anyone needing their furnace repaired.

The installation was done immediately. We even talked to the 'boss' while he was with daughter on a day out....he didn't have to do that...so nice! Since the installation, there has been just a couple minor problems...nothing bad...but called and a service man was out the following day. We're very happy with results and service. They have been out since to clean our a/c---only had to wait a few days after we made that apt. I will refer others to them.

Came out made repair. But unit still was having problem. They told if after repair unit was still having problem.... It was the thermostat. I replaced thermostat. Unit then worked just as it should. Prompt service. Good follow up advice. Fair service price.

We are very happy with them. We had them out twice a year for a check. I think they are very honest about what they do and they explain to you what the problem is that you are having. They give you options of ways to fix it. They gave us several options for furnaces. We compared their prices with a couple of other companies at the time and we are very satisfied with the price they gave us. The quality of their service is very good. Their responsiveness was also very good. We found out in the morning that the furnace was not working and by that afternoon we had a new one. They are very professional. They've always known what they were doing. I am a technician myself and I can tell that they knew what they were doing.

They replaced all of the parts they had immediately. One final part took three weeks to get from the manufacturer, which of course was not Bomar's fault. They also had the vinyl floor covering replaced and the mold under it sanitized since this was caused by the unseen leak all winter. No supplier is ever perfect. The true test of a supplier is when things inevitably go wrong and how they handle it. Bomar handled the situation perfectly. Most of the work was done by Ryan who did an excellent job!

Everything went great from the start , Jeff came and did the estimate ,he was very efficient but yet easy to talk to considering we have never done this before and that was really the reason I went with Bowmar he took the time to explain things so that i understood what I'd be getting, not like the others that came,(I got 4 estimates)they didnt explain anything at all.So first we started with the duct cleaning the young man Matt was very professional he went threw everything he was going to do and made sure if I had any questions they were answered , For the furnace and hot water heater Brian was the main tech and my lil duct clener Matt came back ,again very professional explained all that was going to take place and started working ,both men did great work,and Matt I give you credit how you drilled those holes threw the slate siding without breaking any really shocked me...just goes to show how taking your time to do something correct really does work ! And Brian Thank you for explainig the way the lines should go cause I had not a clue ! I think your work is just great , I am very pleased with all the work.There is only one thing that could have been done different and that was about the electric for the air conditioner I could of had that already taken care of by the time we got started on the actual installation ,I had been told Bomar could take cake of electrical problems , but as it turned out they could not so i had to have an electrician come in to do some work for the central air,so we had to schedule the air to be completed on another day,but after I had that done Bowmar was right here to finish the job and Brian again you did an excellent job ! I am a very pleased with Bowmar's employees and the work they did ! They deserve alil extra in there check i think !

Called them on Saturday AM with a furnace problem. They reccomended changing the air filter. That did not help. Came out Monday AM to inspect the furnace. Reccomended immediate replacement due to unsafe conditions (very old).. New furnace in and running by Wednesday. I didn't know there were any people left that gave this kind of service. Would reccomend them highly-a great company. Had ducts cleaned later. Good job.

Jason was very polite and professional from providing the estimate to his follow-up visit. Ryan and Brian, the two install techs were very good at their jobs. It was a big job and they handled it exceptionally well. There were modifications made in order to transition from the old, larger furnaces to the new, smaller furnaces. We also had them installed new humidifiers and bigger 5 inch air filters. There was an issue arise with the way one of the new furnace’s were vented, and ended up costing me an additional $216.00 to change. High efficiency furnace use PVC plastic tubes to breath and for exhaust. Running the new PVC tubing didn’t go so well. We have a large basement with 9 foot ceilings and plans to eventually finish the basement. One would think 9 foot ceilings with open guises would allow enough room to tucked new piping up and out of the way. Warning to ALL: Never ASSUME! Once they were done running the new PVC piping the issues came out….and I know they could have been avoided. I put some of this responsibility on myself….. but who in this picture were the PROFESSIONALS! Anyway, from one furnace the new piping was tucked up and out of the way, but was inadvertently run right up in front of an existing air vent into that room. I can deal with that….I guess. The second, larger furnace venting was something I couldn’t ignore. The two, large pipes were brought in at the far end of the room (out of necessity I agree) but were set and run right down the center of the room dropping in height as it came. By the time it reached the place to turn toward the furnace the piping was just over head-height….and dropped even lower as it made its way to the furnace. Yes, I did give them permission to take that route only after being told by both technicians it was the ONLY possible route. In addition, what I didn’t know when I agreed to that route was the need for the pipes to drop ever lower as it came the length of the room. When it was all done it made that room useless for anything but a very large utility room.I called Jason the next day and requested he come and look for himself. He came back and after looking things over we put together an alternative, more obscure route where the piping should have been run to begin with. Here’s the kick-in-the-butt… Instead of this being a customer satisfaction issue Jason insists this is a customer pays to change it thing. At this point I just wanted it to be done and agreed to Jason’s request to pay the estimated $150 to $200 to rerun the piping. Bomar’s service tech had to come back anyway to repair one of the humidifiers they couldn’t get to work at installation. I showed him the alternate route which tucked the piping closer to the wall and up under existing duct work which also ran the length of the room. The end result was nothing short of perfect. I only wish he would have did this to begin with. The lesson here is obvious.....explore the options and know EXACTLY how and where YOU want the piping to be run before you allow the work to begin. So, with all things being said and done I would actually hire Bomar again. Overall I was very pleased with their work and quality of product and material they brought use. I would also recomment Bomar to others. I'm still not very happy about paying an additional $200 bucks to rerun the PVC piping in a way it should have been done to begin with.

When new furnace was unpacked, a large dent was found. Drove 50 miles to get new one and returned to install in same day, and was very apologetic!

Furnace was not operating properly so called to have it checked on 1/5/2011. Found that the inducer was bad and the secondary heat exchanger was in bad shape too. Although the heat exchanger was covered, the labor to install it was not. Decided not to put that much money into an older furnace. So asked for info on a new furnace. We were not without heat, but was recommended that we not use it if possible. We have an alternative to furnace heat, so decided not to use it and was contacted the next day by Jason Rowland (VP) on options for a new furnace. The new furnace was installed on 1/7/2011. Happy with the service tech's (Rick) abilities and explanation. Happy with the installation tech's (can't remember name)work and information provided. Jason followed up with a visit a few days later to check the installation and explain warranties etc. The cost of the service call was deducted from the price of the new furnace installation.

We returned home from our Christmas visit with family to find our furnace had stopped working during our absence. It was 50*F in our home and it was Dec. 30th. We were referred to Bomar Heating and A/C and called them late in the afternoon. Their Service Technician arrived at our home about 7:30pm and worked hard past 11pm (despite the fact he had been working since early that morning) to get our furnace operating. The furnace worked long enough to get our house warmed up before it croaked for good a couple of hours later. We received a follow-up call the next day from Jason Rowland, the General Manager at Bomar, and we discussed our options. With the New Year's holiday upon us, we decided to wait until Monday to get quotes on a new furnace. Mr. Rowland made an appointment to personally come to our home to get an understanding our our current system and our needs. He spent two hours with us, fully explaining our options, giving us background information about his company and providing us a total of six quotes for furnaces of varying efficiency ratings from two different manufacturers. There was no pressure to make a quick decision or to go for the most expensive set-up. He took the time to answer our many questions and was available to answer our follow-up questions. After making our decision on which furnace we wanted, they worked us into their schedule very quickly. When the Installer was running a few minutes late, someone from Bomar's office called at the appointment time to explain he would be about 10 minutes late. Only 10 minutes late and they took the time to call to let me know! What a pleasant departure from some of my experiences with other service companies who have left me wondering for an hour or more. The installer was very professional and did a meticulous job, keeping me informed and consulting with me when necessary. He also reconnected the existing whole-house humidifier. After completing the job, he took about 20 minutes to fully explain the operation of the furnace and thermostat, and gave me advice on maintaining the drain for the water produced by the operation of the furnace. Mr. Rowland made a post-installation appointment to inspect the new furnace and to find out how it is working for us and to answer any other questions we might have. Our experience with Bomar Heating and A/C has been completely positive. I have spoken with several of their employees during this saga, and I found that each one of them was very professional and courteous. We felt we received excellent service and responsiveness from a company we had never done business with before. We will definitely do business with them again!
