Stan's Welding

Stan's did an excellent job communicating about this project and completing the work. They have a very professional office. They responded quickly to my request for a quote, work was scheduled and completed shortly thereafter. The work itself was great, I cannot even tell where they cut and replaced the posts that anchor the railing to the concrete.

The work was completed and looks as if the structure was brand new. I am so very impressed with the work performed and although the project ran longer than expected (due to weather), we are extremely pleased at the professionalism and pricing. Our condo association solicited several bids on this project and although Stan's was not the least expensive, based on the work shown on their website, we knew that this was who we needed to work with. They quickly came out and estimated the project and explained exactly what needed to be done. The work was extensive. The structure was severely damaged by the elements and salts used over the years. There were sections of steel which needed to be replaced and other areas which could be ground down, primed and painted. The steel landings needed to be completely removed and replaced as well as some of the stair treads. We were told that the work would take 7-10 working days and unfortunately due to heavy rains, the actual timing went longer. We did NOT complain at all because as we were monitoring the progress, we were so very impressed with the work. Not only did they do exemplary work, they kept the work site clean and safe for all our residents. By the end of the project, they had replaced, restored, primed and painted the complete structure and it is beautiful. Please give Stan's a chance. Even if their pricing is a bit higher than other bids, you will NOT be disappointed with the results.

Job completed to my satisfaction Only drawback was that the workers were initially gruff and not very communicative, but that may have been due to language barrier.

One of the reasons I hired Stan's was their responsiveness. When I had a question, they answered the same day. When they made an appointment, they kept it. When we got to the point of having the work done, the crew arrived on time every day. They worked all day for 4 days, and I am so impressed with the quality of their work. They cleaned up after themselves every day, and the new stairs look fantastic. Price-wise, I found Stan's pricing to be in line with other companies I considered. But for the quality of the work, professionalism and customer service, I think Stan's can't be beat. If I ever need this type of work done again, I will definitely hire Stan's.

They did an AWESOME job. My door looks great and there was absolutely no mess left to cleanup.

After an initial prompt response to my outreach via Angie's List, this company repeatedly failed to respond and made promises it did not keep. The bottom line is this - they were too busy for the work we needed done, but unlike other providers who were very frank about their availability (or lack thereof), Stan's Welding promised to "get back with proposed dates" and never did. I spoke with Magda on Thursday. I told her that I we'd been waiting and waiting. She told me on the telephone on Thursday (5/19) that she would call back the next day (Friday) with proposed dates. Friday came and went, and we've heard nothing. I was disappointed with the lack of candor. I do not recommend Stan's Welding for the foregoing reasons.

I am very pleased by the services provided by Stan's Welding. A week after my first e-mail request, Lukasz came by to give me an estimate. One week later, the work was completed. The workers were 1/2 hour early and they even cleaned-up after they finished. I would use their services again.

It was over $3000 for the estimate. He was here Friday February 13th. His estimate was too high. He was punctual. I was told the quote would arrive one day and I never received it so I did a follow up and they told me it would be covered in the ten minutes if I didn't receive it. It ended up coming the next morning. It was way out of what my budget would allow.

I set up an appointment with Lukas from Stan's Welding and he arrived on time. He explained clearly what needed to be done to put my gates back into proper working order. He promised an estimate by the next day and it was in my hands just as he said it would be. When I agreed to the price, I was asked to sign the contract and send in a check for half of the cost. I received a call from the company within three days to set up a time for the work to begin. The two workers showed up on time to begin the work of replacing the gate posts, installing heavy duty hinges on the gates, repairing the closures and providing the one new post with a new topper. Before leaving, they even painted the gate and the short section of fence that went from the gates to the house. I was very impressed! It looks like I have brand new gates and fencing. Lukas and his workers were friendly and professional and his office help was the same. I highly recommend them.

Overall it went well and we were very happy. They were friendly, professional, and the quality of work was great. The project had to be handled in 3 phases, the middle phase of which was a concrete project handled by another contractor. They were very timely with phase 1 (removal). There was about 1 week delay for phase 3 (re-installation of fence + stair installation) following completion of concrete in which it seems that they had perhaps forgotten to place it on their schedule. Once it did get scheduled, everything was completed in a timely and professional manner. Super minimal lapse on scheduling, could really happen to anyone, but that is the reason for the "B" rating on punctuality. We were really happy working with them, and plan to work with them again in the future.

When they painted it the first time, they used a different shade of gray that did not look that good. After clarifying which shade looks better, they came out and repainted the repair at non extra charges. That to me is good Customer Service.

I am very happy with their work. My fence gates were broken by storm. Stan?s team took out and moved the gates to their repair shop some 20 miles away. The work was done nicely. The broken corners and hinges were all enforced by welding. The communication was very easy and effective. They can be reached either by phone or email. You can expect timely response. Quote is reasonable. Overall a job well done! I recommend Stan?s Welding to anyone that may need their services.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAN'S WELDING. The drivers side front seat on my 2007 Chevy impala broke. I needed to get the brackets welded so that I could use my car. Most shops are not open on Saturday or Sunday, but Stan's was. I took the seat out and brought it in using my wife's suv. Stan took the seat out and brought it into his shop. 10 minutes later he came out with a repaired seat. I didn't have exact change so I offered to write him a check. He told me not to worry about it. Can you believe it? not only did I get my repair done on a Saturday but Stan did it for free. I'm amazed that there are people like this still around. If you need any welding done I highly recommend Stan's welding.

They came out quickly to give a quote and we scheduled soon after that. They were professional and fairly priced. Their work was also done very well. I will definitely call them again.

This is one busy man! He said he would come a few times, but didn't because of how late his jobs ended up being, but he eventually came abour 3 days later as promised! Very good work, at a great price. Nice man too.

There are no details; this company didnt work on gate motors but perhaps I would use him in the future for welding.

Even though they were backed up for 6 weeks they were able to fit us in within a week for some work that required the replacement of some metal steps in the back of our condo building (the steps had rusted out due to poor maintenance and were now a safety issue). The crew arrived on time on a Friday and completed the work on the stairs and a bent front gate in less than 1 day. The only negative would be that they did leave a major blemish on one of our decks where some of the equipment was attached - possibly a grounding cable - it rubbed off same paint to the metal about the size of a fist and they must have forgotten to paint over it. Not a huge deal because I'm having the decks repainted anyway - but it was indeed an oversight nonetheless. Overall - good guys who did good work. I'll use the again for sure.

The railings are beautiful. The color great and they look brand new. Only problem when crew reinstalled they did not do it properly. There were two pieces of wood that attached to the house then to the railings. They did not attach the railings to the wood so now the railing is resting on one of the steps. I think it's important to always talk to the home-owner before installation since we know the ins-outs of our home. Language barrier was also a problem because I believe their English was not very good and it led to not understanding what I was saying after I realized a mistake had been made.

Nothing. No response no work

Stan's did a prompt job of coming out and welding a broken power arm to a security gate to the parking lot. Previous repairs (three of them) by another company failed to hold for more than a month. Stan's guaranteed the weld, and it's been doing great for over six months.
