Description of Work: Over the last seven years I have gradually replaced all of the exterior doors on my 1925 four flat with new solid wood doors with fused glass inserts that Rafael custom made and installed. He built the front entry door around a stained glass window insert which he also installed. I have spent between $800 and $3,500.

+ 1 moreOur doors turned out to be a dream come true. We got EXACTLY what we wanted for a price that was beyond fair. Rafael worked with us every step of the way - from the design, choosing materials to the installation. He gave us samples of different stain options to take home so we could see how they look next to our building. We asked for the intercom boxes to be recessed, and he worked that in without issue. He also made some great suggestions regarding the locks, hinges and other hardware we needed to provide. It was a great experience. Almost a year later we still receive weekly compliments on how beautiful the doors are.
Description of Work: Our condo association needed to replace the vintage front doors (with decorative sidelights and transoms) in each of our 3 entranceways. The original doors were charming and we hated to get rid of them, but they were beyond repair. We were told by multiple vendors it would be impossible to replicate them within our budget confines. Other door companies suggested we replace them with steel or aluminum, or a very basic wood design (that would have cost more than our budget allowed). We then found Rafael,. He worked with us to create a design we were thrilled with, and was within our budget.
