The ballast burned out. Happened to have an extra one downstairs so price was labor only. Service was performed very well and Mom was very pleased overall.

Jeff is AMAZING. He was very responsive and helpful. His work is top quality. He wasn't affected by finding surprises behind the electrical boxes and the surprises didn't affect the cost. I had gotten quotes from other Angie List providers and they would have been 2 or 3 times more expensive. Some implied that if any difficulties were encountered they may need to send other people, at least doubling the cost. With Jeff, I discussed over the phone what I would like done. Prior to his visit he suggested one possible fix for the outlet that had stopped working. Although that wasn't the problem, his suggestion shows he is very conscientious about saving clients time and money if possible. He was on time, worked VERY quickly and neatly. He thoughtfully suggested he do one task last because it was likely to be the dirtiest and he didn't want spread any dirt if he could avoid it. He got everything done very fast and for very little charge. While he was working, he would show me "What was behind the walls". In some cases, the existing electrical work was surprising even to him. But he explained possible fixes and the pros and cons of each. He didn't propose anything just to charge more, but focused on safety and how well something would last. It is refreshing to work with someone that doesn't urge you to completely overhaul everything. I would trust Jeff with any electrical project and will happily use him again. He is extremely affordable with top quality work.

Took longer than expected, hand prints on surroundings, parts leftover with no explanation as to if extra or just did not install them. When completed wanted to take the parts that were leftover or removed - may me thing that if I used this vendor again I would get used parts and not new like I paid for.

There are no details. He sent me an email apologizing for the delay and then never got back to me. He may be a great electrician, just not for me.

Jeff had good communication, was punctual, and did a good job for the quoted price.

He did a good job. There was a number of little projects that he got through very quickly. I would definately use him in the future.

That turned out great. I purchased it only for the electrical inspection. I contacted Jeff first and asked if I could do that and he said he could. He did some re-wiring in the bathroom and kitchen since we just purchased a home that was built in 1921. He is reliable and he has been doing this for a long time. He is so methodical and he is worth every second of the time he spends on the job. I wished Angie’s List would let me give him an A+.

He just never came back - which was a total waste of my $. I knew the light switch wasn't working, I didn't need to pay someone $75.00 to come out and tell me that. This was a rip off - I would never do business with this person again.

It was great! Jeff was very patient and thoroughly answered all of our questions, arrived on time, and did a good job. Furthermore, it was really easy getting in touch with him and scheduling the service.

Returned call very swiftly. I was at work so he told me to call him when I get home. He was there within the hour. Same day call, same day service and all the day before Christmas Eve. Truly a Christmas miracle! Thanks Jeff. Will be using him after the first of the year to install 2 outlets.

Jeff was awesome. My project definitely fell into the "small job" category but he was more than happy to come out and help. We ran through all the details on the phone prior to the appointment. He showed up right on time and was super courteous - even taking off his shoes because it had been snowing out. The project definitely ran into a few snags but he was able to maneuver around them and get everything accomplished. Evidently the way my house was built created a few challenges for the project, but it was cool to see how Jeff overcame them - he was even a little excited to get a job that wasn't the usual routine. I will definitely reach out to Jeff the next time we need electrical work.

The technician was on time. He was able to provide us a with an evening appointment that work with our work schedules. He was able to complete the job in a reasonable amount of time.

I used them through a big deal on Angie's List. It was fine. Nothing stood out for me either good or bad. I probably would not recommend them to family members or friends; I wouldn’t use them again in the future.

Very hard to contact this person but, I persisted over days because, I needed to verify that he could do the work I had paid for. He finally admitted that he couldn't do the work I needed doing.

Jeff did an excellent job and was incredibly easy to work with. Since I was working in phases, Jeff had to come back about 4 times to fit my timing. He made it easy to schedule, was always on time, and always finished the work in the estimated time. I will have more electrical work as I do more re-modeling and will definitely hire Jeff for that.

After the above conversation - I decided not to procede with the work and find another electrician. I have had tremendous success with Angie's list across their specialists (including Big Deals). This was by far my largest disappointment.

I would like to preface this with the fact that I put a general date for the "approximate service date as I don't recall the date I spoke with him on the phone, so my apologies if this is incorrect. I called Jeff Fischer (unfortunately, I don't remember the date), which I guess was his cell phone as he answered with just a "hello". I asked to speak to Jeff Fischer and explained that I had purchased and Angie's List Deal for him. I don't know if he had just woken up or that's his normal voice but he sounded stoned (sorry, he did). The services listed included multiple electrical services, including hanging flat screen TVs, which is what I had wanted done. When I explained the service he replied "Oh, I don't do that any more. I thought they had taken that down" So I said, "um, ok, what about installing a ceiling fan (as that was listed as well)" and he replied "oh, that will probably cause damage." I was getting frustrated at this point so I asked about simply replacing some existing track lighting. He said, "yeah, maybe you could send me some pictures or something." After that, I just said screw it and did not feel like dealing with his lazy attitude any more so did not initiate any further contact with him and he did not contact me in any way either. I was surprised as his reviews all seemed good when I read them before purchasing the deal- I don't know, maybe I got him on a bad day or something. At this point I figured I was just out my $75 but I was pleasantly surprised when an rep from Angie's List called to see how my deal went and when I explained the situation they were very apologetic and more than willing to rectify the problem. I would like to thank Christopher Jones from Indianapolis, specifically for being so helpful and courteous on the phone.
