They were on time, and responsive. The technician even did some extra cleaning on one of my units that had been needing extra Freon for a few years. Because of the cleaning it didn't have to work so hard or need additional Freon.

Guillermo, the service technician, was friendly, polite, and knowledgeable, providing detailed information as to the services as he performed with useful advice given as to proper maintainence in the future. I would most defintely hire them again for any additional services needed.

It all went well and I was very satisfied. The lady who scheduled my estimate was very cordial. The man who came to the house to provide an estimate was also very cordial and knowledgeable. There was no pressure at all and after his presentation I was ready to schedule the work, which he was able to do on the spot. It was their busy time (summer) but I was able to get an appointment in a couple of weeks. The workmen came on time and seemed very knowledgeable and professional. They finished in one day as promised and did an excellent job cleaning up. They explained the operation and answered all my questions. I have had the system for about 3 months now and there have been no problems at all.

Called to ask about appointment for Angie's list furnace cleaning special. He seemed a little angry. At first he mumbled, "3 weeks or more depending on where you are". When I told him I live on the northwest side of Chicago he said, "Oh, at least 4 weeks OR MORE!!!" I said, "no thanks."

I purchased the deal on November 4 for a furnace inspection and received an email confirming the purchase and was told someone would call to confirm an appointment. I never received a phone call but did receive an email on November 7 asking me to call to make the appointment. I called on November 8 and was told the earliest they could come to inspect my furnace was December 8. In addition, the coupon, which stated that it's for "normal business hours" excludes Saturdays. While I can't make comments on the quality of work, the fact that they are scheduling more than a month out, and that their restrictions are not clearly spelled out in their deals will ensure that I will not use them for service in the future. Beware.

I've hired this company two years in a row, and I appreciate everything aout their services. Good scheduling, and very smart service technicians. Glad I found them through Angie's List.

Things worked out well. The tech was on time. He didn't try to up sale me on anything. The tech was easy to talk to, very friendly. The work turned out to be excellent.

Vendor told me they don't service my area. I didn't appreciate that because my credit card went through for the coupon. Then I emailed the vendor and didn't get a response back as to why they wouldn't come to my neighborhood in Chicago. Angie's list knows my address. Don't offer me services you know your vendors will not come to.

Great, they inspected the a/c and furnace for 2 units and everything worked fine all season.

Excellent. Kept me informed of what work was being performed. Assisted me moving my wahimg machine to gain access to a second fiurnance. Second time I've used them, very reliable service.

I was able to get an appointment before weather turned cold and office staff very helpful. Technician arrived on time, realized some minor repair work was needed. Work was done well and quickly. Cost for the work he did was fair. I will definitely call on Freedom Heating & Plumbing in the future.

Willie did a great job of cleaning and tuning up the furnaces. He explained what he was doing and gave me some suggestions for things I could do to prolong furnace life, especially for the furnace in a very dusty area. In addition, he pointed out some possible future issues with parts on this particular furnace. He also showed me how to determine the age of the furnaces from their serial numbers. This is the second year I've had Freedom Heating and Cooling do this work. I've had two different technicians, and both were excellent.
