Description of Work: The technician smelled so strongly of smoke it was hard to be near him. The first thing he did was try to sell me new parts that I really did not need. |Less than one month later the same company offered the same service for $29 |I think I got ripped off.

We truly do apologize that our technician did smell like smoke, that was discussed with him after reading the comment. We did look through the work order and seen that he did recommend a couple of parts due to the age of the unit, it was a sensor and a capacitor, these parts generally need to be replaced around the age of your particular unit, that is why he made those recommendations, I truly don't believe that our tech was just trying to sell you parts that you don't need, that type of practice is generally conducted by companies whom are desperate for sales which we are not. Truthfully we'd rather keep you as a customer for future needs rather than make a quick dollar and run. As for feeling "ripped off" the deals you see on Angie's List are deals that come out in different times, so two deals may be for the same thing, it's just one deal had launched at a different time, which was just after we did the service for you. Again we do apologize for the smell of smoke from our technician, but we truly would never want any customer to feel as if they were ripped off. We thank you so much for the review, it takes the good and the bad to be able to learn from all mistakes and to make them not only right, but better.

Description of Work: I called them before booking this deal and was informed they serviced all of Chicago. After I booked, i received an email informing me that i was out of the service area. Even though i live in Chicago. Albeit in the outskirts, but in Chicago nonetheless.
