It didn't go. I arranged to be home during this 4 hour window where they said a technician would arrive and I confirmed I would be home at that time. Being that I was working from home and was on/off business calls all morning, the technician determined that since I did not answer his phone call that he didn't need to show up and he moved onto the next appointment. When I called the office to inquire about why a technician didn't show up they explained that they do not make a practice of sending technicians to homes unless someone answers the phone whenever the technician attempts to call within a 4 hours window. I expressed my displeasure and was told that a technician could come out in the afternoon, but once again, if I failed to answer his call he would not show up for the appointment. I restated that I would be home and that I would be on/off business calls all afternoon, but they were adamant that even though I stated I would be home they would not send a technician unless I answered his phone call whenever he decided he would get to me. I would never do business with this company as the person I spoke with was very flippant and arrogant about my situation and that it didn't matter if I was home I would be required to answer a phone call that would come at a random time. Clearly they couldn't care less about customer service.

Arrive promptly, work went well. They did a great job explaining everything that was going on.

Great! Found the problem ordered the part and he had to come back with the part. A few days later but made sure we had heat in the meantime. Very satisfied!

Willie was great. He let us know at each step how our furnace/AC was performing, and gave us tips on how to maintain our air filters to conserve energy/reduce costs. He was very friendly, assuring us that our HVAC system was in great shape for our upcoming condo sale. My only complaint is that $89 seemed a little steep to charge JUST for a ladder to reach our AC system.

It went well. The technician was very friendly and straightforward and made good common sense recommendations.

Service went really well and I was very impressed with the value for this purchase. They explained what type of system I had and how to handle some of the basic maintenance on my own. We also discussed a cost/benefit analysis of replacing the current system (since its over 40 years old), but still working! I did not feel any pressure to buy something and I will definitely consider them for the purchase of my new system when my current one breaks down.

The technician serviced the unit and that was all that was required. He didn't try to sell me something that I didn't need, even though the unit is old.

Serviceman came and looked over the unit, and explained to me what I could do to better take care of my unit. He was punctual and took appropriate amount of time to do the work.

I bought a deal which included both a furnace inspection and an a/c inspection. All went well, other than when I turned on the a/c a gurgling sound began in drain pipe behind hot water heater. The Freedom Heating person thought it was the hot water heater and had me call the company who installed my hot water heater. I contacted them and $60 later was told that pipe had nothing to do with the hot water heater...that it was a drain pipe. Called back Freedom Heating. They came out and poured some water down the pipe connected to the humidifier, although they said their inspection had nothing to do with the gurgling sound (which was driving me nuts, and only began once they did the servicing). This cost me another $65. So... the heating and a/c inspections went fine.... but it ended up costing me another $125 to get rid of the gurgling sound which began after the service was performed. I don't know what caused this sound... maybe it was an extreme coincidence that it began immediately after their servicing my a/c. I only know that their service ended costing me $125 extra to get rid of the gurgling sound.

I would avoid this company at every turn. Nothing but issues. First, I asked them to call me at a different phone number to confirm the appointment the day of because I couldn't confirm that I'd be able to answer the number I gave them. The agreed but promptly ignored the request. The guy did arrive within their service window (the only good thing they did) but then immediately hit me with an unexpected "ladder fee" to access my unit on the roof. $89 just to take his ladder off the truck?!? What a joke but I didn't have a choice. I asked the guy to bring his ladder in from the back but he ignored me, came in the front, and immediately put a nick in my freshly painted wall. He also put his metal clipboard in my freshly painted windowsill - scratching that too. No sympathy though. No problems with the furnace. A/C has already been working fine during the season but was told I needed a Freon recharge (even though the property was cooling fine) and charged me quite a lot for that. Also said I needed a new compressor. I'm still not convinced that I needed the compressor but I had told the serviceman that I was selling the property and I think he knew that I'd basically need to agree to whatever service he identified. This Angie's List deal ended up costing me a lot and was a huge mistake. If I could do it over, I would've just used AA Service Co - they've always been great and I trust them.

Freedom is a reputable service. They have been 2 or 3 times here for the same job and also furnace tune up. Very professionals, punctual, and friendly. This young tech did not clean the units blades, was not sure at one point which unit he was working on. He checked the return and filter in my unit. In the furnace left a wire lose that stopped the A/C from running. He never check the water reservoir of either A/C. He checked the amount of gas on both units. He never removed the lids to look at the inside of clear the blades. He told us my 1rst floor unit has a problem and did nothing else. My son called another tech on Friday he added 4 lbs. of gas and clean the unit. checked the furnace water container and clear the tube. Checked the thermostat, return and filter. Like other Freedom techs did for me before.

Willie is amazing. Called ahead to confirm appointment and right on time. Explained what work he would perform and what I should expect. All with a smile and sense of humor! Made sure i was happy and that all my questions were answered. These guys are the best!

Service call for A/C unit seemed fine, until tech left. House got hotter and hotter even though A/C was seemingly running. Tried contacting tech through office and was told he was on calls and would call me back. No call back, but finally tracked him down after hours using caller ID info and we figured out that he left outside unit unplugged and told me how to fix it myself. Also left things messy.

At the first house the service person was on time and everything went well. At the second house they did not show up at all that day. They said that there was a minor incident with their truck. Had to go back to that house another day, about 3 weeks later and that person was on time and did a very good job and excellent help with a few things I cannot do anymore. He was quick and professional.

Great! Very attentive and helpful worker. I am very happy I bought this offer via Angie's List, and will use them again for my winter tune-up, and again next year to check my air conditioner! He explained more than my last heater guy, who I never felt was being forthright with me.

Good. Tech was helpful and explained a lot about how the system works, how to maintain it, costs for repairs, possible future replacement scenarios, etc.

They installed the new a/c condenser and air handler. They were the most reasonably priced of the three estimates I got. They showed up on time and completed the work in the timeframe they told me for the price they quoted. I noticed a problem a couple of days after the install. I called and they sent someone out right away. They replaced the thermostat and everything has been working fine since then.

They checked and cleaned the heater and were very detailed

Purchased the Angie List deal for a water heater tune-up. Freedom was responsive & scheduled quickly for the tune-up. The guy quickly diagnosed the issue & was extremely helpful.

Great, the tech was friendly and nice and thoroughly explained everything he was doing & made recommendations for improvement but wasn't pushy and was honest about what was urgent and what wasn't.
