I have used EMEX for 10 years (they installed the whole HVAC/Boiler/Raidiant Heat system), so it's unfortunate that I have to provide a less-than-stellar review. I called for a week and left messages and finally got a hold of David, and made an appointment. They didn't show up, nor did they call to 1) let me know they decided to not come; and 2) to reschedule. Spent the next several days calling and leaving messages asking if they still wanted my buisness and trying to schedule a second appointment. NO RESPONSE. Our water heater is putting out hot water at 145+ degrees, which is against code, and my kids were getting scalded. I informed them of this in my messages, and still I heard absolutely NOTHING. Several years ago we lost all hot water and spent 2 days trying to get ahold of someone. While they are knowledgeable and kind people, their customer service and ability to manage appointments is terrible. I would love to continue using them for another 10 years but, when we have a serious issue and they don't have the common courtesy to call back, we will, sadly, be taking our business elsewhere.

They came when they promised. finished ahead of schedule, and completely cleaned up after themselves. The workmanship was beautiful. When they provided an estimate, they didn't know that the additional duct work for the addition would be thorugh the brickwork of the original house, and that they would not be able to find an available conduit for the AC power. They didn't complain and they did not ask for additional money even though the job was substantially more work than they thought it would be when they gave me the estimate.
