Clyde the Appliance Guy

My sister-in-law in the Chicago area has health issues that prevent her from using the stairs to her basement, so my wife and I visit her from Minnesota about once a month to help with laundry and other housekeeping needs. After washing the first load of laundry and trying to dry it, we found the clothes dryer would not heat up. It about 12:00 noon and with limited time in town, we wanted repair service the same day if possible. I called Clyde the Appliance Guy, told him our situation, and he was able to have his service guy come at the end of his day even though he was booked for the day. It was his son Derek that came a little after 5:00 pm. He quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem, and we were able to complete all the laundry the rest of that evening and next day. He was personable and professional, and covered his shoes to keep the house clean. Having a house full of aging appliances, I will be comfortable calling Clyde the Appliance Guy on my sister-in-law's behalf when the next appliance issue arises.

He is very clean and the service was expeditious. He got here within 24 hours. He was very informative. We needed help on our filter and he explained everything to us. Very helpful!
