The service was most professional, completed on time an a tad below the quoted price. When it appeared we may have an issue, the owner went out of his way first on the phone, then with a long drive in person to ensure all was safe. Dan and his co-worker did an awesome job with my fireplace! He had to connect to a gas line, install a key into the floor (even matches my decor) and helped me decide what logs would be the best fit for my home (size, color and heat output). He didn’t try to sell me the most expensive items either. Fair prices, friendly, punctual and quality work! I would hire again and recommend. I really enjoy my fireplace now!!

We had a gas leak inside the home we purchased. I had identified the problem area with a gas leak detector and called Fine Gas to repair. Dan came out, pressure tested the system and confirmed the area I identified was indeed the problem. This was a hard to reach area in the basement ceiling. He disassembled the fittings that were leaking, cleaned them up, applied new pipe dope and reassembled. He pressure tested the system again to ensure there weren't further leaks. Dan is friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. I highly recommend him for any gas leak repairs.

Only got B on responsiveness because his secretary called a day later and could not schedule the service until next week. But he was courteous, professional and efficient. Glad that I hired him.

We were called and were told we could be given a ball park figure. I asked if someone could come out and give us a price so that we did not have any surprises so that we would know what the cost would be for the installation. I was asked what city we were in and was told that they were not working in our area but would keep our information and call us when it was convenient for them. We are interested in having this work completed within 2-3 weeks. We told them thank you but we would look elsewhere.

Dan came out to give me the estimate and was onsite to do the work with a helper. Very easy to deal with, very professional and took time to explain everything and answer all my questions. On time, very pleasant, got job done quickly and took time to help give me tips on lighting and using the fireplace. He was a bit better in price to other estimate I had gotten and much above in quality and professionalism. I would definitely recommend him and use him again.

I had the relatively simple job of removing an old gaslight from my front yard, but couldn't find anyone who worked with gas nearby. Dan came out and completed the work in one afternoon. It was worth waiting a few weeks until he had enough work in my area to justify the trip. Completed the job in about 30 minutes. He answered all my questions.

Dan gave me a prompt estimate earlier in the month that was very fair and much better than the other estimate that I received from a local plumber. They trenched a new gas line 60', under a fence and sidewalk to my garage and made a new connection to my existing gas meter. The work took most of the day. They were meticulous about cleaning up all of the excess dirt created by the trenching process. I would not hesitate to recommend them or to hire them again. Their work was affordable and they did an excellent job!

He was great! We have moved to a new house with a gas log fireplace. We haven't had one before, so I'm a little intimidated with anything that could potentially explode! I'm sure this was an easy job for him, but he was patient and reassuring. He was prompt, professional and pleasant. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again.

Dan Fine made two visits to our home to discuss our concerns, answer all our questions, make recommendations and take measurements - so that we could enjoy the benefits of gas logs in two of our fireplaces. Once we decided on the burners and log sets (Dan patiently fielded more questions by phone and email), Dan was able to order them and install before Christmas. One room in our home is especially chilly in the winter - and the burner/log system recommended have been a real help in that regard. Our fireplaces already had the gas starters so no gas lines had to be brought to them. Installation took just a few hours - and Dan took his time and takes great pride in his work.

Dan Fine really knows his stuff. My gas pool heater wasn't heating well since last summer. I got an appointment for repair within a couple of days. Dan knew exactly what to look for. He re-soldered a circuit board, cleaned the heat exchanger, and tweaked and examined every part of the heater. Dan explained everything that he was doing and has an impressive knowledge of his profession. It's running great now and I would highly recommend Fine Gas Repairs to anyone.
