The two women arrived as agreed upon and after showing them what needed doing, they started right in and cleaned, dusted, and vacuumed from the top of the house to the bottom level. They were here for 4 hours and did a nice job. I still have two more cleanings to go.

Arrived about 15 minutes outside of time frame given. Worded quickly and efficiently. Polite and professional. The house looked beautiful when done. Would re-use again without hesitation.

The price of Welcome Home Cleaning was just right, however, it did translate itself into the quality of the cleaning service. First of all they were not in time; they were half an hour late both the times. I understand it is hard work but even with cleaning they were complaining all the time that the house was dirty. I wouldn't have called them if the house was clean. They were using really wet mops on the new hardwood floors and when my mum told them that, they told her it was not her business. Overall the quality of cleaning was not that good. They even told that they would not clean the whole floors and would do it the next time. They were supposed to work for 16 hours but because they came late I have lost hours of work. I would not be using them again in the future.

Arrived significantly late. When told one bathroom was used only infrequently, they spent 20 - 30 minutes trying to remove some water marks from the tile and were unable to finish the other requested work. Broke one of the blinds in the kitchen and never said anything about it. Owner contacted and we requested a refund of the tip paid. Refused

I was happy with the results of the initial cleaning, so I have hired Welcome Home Housecleaning to clean my house every other week. Bonnie is the best - she remembers everything you tell her and has great suggestions as to how to best clean things. This is important because I am not always here for the duration of the job. There are times when someone else is sent, and things don't go as well - but this is probably my fault for not being there to direct the process. If I am not satisfied, I call Sarah (the owner) and we work things out.... I hate cleaning house - but now I love the way my house looks!

I saw a coupon on Angie's list for 4 hours of housecleaning for $80.00. Needing to find another bi-weekly cleaning service, i thought I'd give them a try, and if the work was good, I'd become a re-curring customer. I checked the reviews on Angie's list, and though there were a couple of negative ones, for the most part they were extremely positive, so I gave them a try. Two girls were to be arrive between 10 and 11 AM and work for 2 hours. They finally called me at 11:40 AM to let me know they were on the way and should be there in "15 20 minutes" and then arrived in another half hour. The minute they walked in, they asked "do you have a good vacuum we can use? Ours is clogged. Oh year, and we need paper towels, too." Already I had a bad feeling, and was less than impressed that they didn't come prepared, but OK. I gave them a tour of the home, and then we actually stood in the kitchen at the counter where we talked for another few minutes about what my concerns were, etc. I mentioned rhe kitchen floor was an area I needed them to pay attention to, and we walked the floor again looking at it. Then they got to work. Well, at least one of them did. The one who did the downstairs, Tammy, did a horrible job. The kitchen cabinets (which are white) were not spot wiped - or wiped down at all. The sink still had food particles in the bottom of it and was not clean or wiped down (it's stainless steel). My granite counters were not only still dirty and water-marked, but the back-splash was dusty and hadn't been touched, the toaster had crumbs behind and under it - you get the idea. I came up from the basement when she was "done" only to see that she had used my mop - so she must have gone through my closets to find it - but worst of all, she actually damaged my counter where the base meets the floor. I immediately saw that the molding holding the two sides of the cabinet bottom was hanging off - nails exposed and all - and it was cracked, along with the base of the cabinet. It was so obvious there was no way you could have missed it. Especially as we stood in the jitchen two hours earlier and walked the floor, looking at everything. The damage was so bad - you would have seen it immediately and tried to put the molding back on right then and there. Of course Tammy had "no idea how it happened'. When the other girl who cleaned the upstairs came down and looked around the kitchen with me, she actually re-cleaned the sink and counters and then spot wiped all the cabinets when she saw they were dirty, while Tammy waited in the car. She at least tried to make it right, and told me she was "typically the downstairs one" and "for some reason, Tammy wanted to do the downstairs this time", which I thought was odd. I immediately took pictures of the damaged cabinet and called the owner right away to tell her what happened. I then sent her an email along with the photos of the damage. After reviewing my e-mail and the photos and I assume speaking to the crew, her response was that she "was in the middle.....and had to respect both sides of the fence...if the girls say they didn't do it, they didn't do it." She then offered me 50% off the next cleaning if I used them again. Seriously????? She is basically callng me a liar, damaged my home and won't take responsibility for it, performed a terrible job and then thinks I'm going to have her team in my home again? I already hired Molly Maids.

Punctuality and reliability both were poor.

Sara arrived at 8:00 with all the supplies I might request and proceeded to work NONSTOP until 4 PM! In addition to decluttering tor neglected areas of our home, she thoroughly cleaned from ceiling to floor. We have a typical small ranch-style home with three bedrooms and one bath and Sara used her time so efficiently that she even cleaned our windows! Our dark and dusty house shines and sparkles thanks to Sara Grzeszczak! I'm recommending her to all my friends and give her two thumbs up to Angie's List members.

Went well overall -- very nice women who came, thoughtful and professional, arrived early. Scheduling process was easy via email. Only complaint was that I had pre-paid for 4 hours of cleaning, and they were "done" after 1.5 hrs (x2 people = 3 hours), and I didn't feel comfortable going around the house and nit-picking, "oh did you see this dust here?", "oh could you clean my microwave please?" because that's super-awkward and would make me feel demanding/weird. But at the same time, I felt like if I'd paid for the time, then the workers should have kept working. In fairness, they asked me if they could leave, and I hesitated but then said, "If you're done, you're done," after I'd pointed out a couple things that I wanted to be fixed. I would probably still hire again because they were so friendly, but I'd write out clearer expectations at the start.

This is my second review of Welcome Home. We have had them since August 2011 and have been very satisfied. Sara is excellent in how she runs her company and is always easy to work with. We have had Bonnie do our cleanng for some time now and are completely happy with her. She is a very hard worker and a very nice person also. Unfortunately we are moving out of state but wanted everyone to know what a great company this is. I just hope we can find another one as good as this one in our new town

Sarah came in and worked very professionally. She was neat & courteous and knew exactly what she was doing. Lines of communication worked very well. I looked at a few others and they do not come close to having Sarah do the work. Top rating, in my book.

The service was great. They did a really thorough cleaning. He was very prompt in the response for setting up the initial appointment for the cleaning service. I don’t remember how much I paid but I think it was $200 for 16 hours worth of cleaning.

Great service, very, very nice staff. Prompt, consistent, and detailed on their service expectations. Recommend them on a weekly basis!

They did a good job. Sara, the owner, is very good with follow up. In fact, I believe we will be using the company on a regular basis.

Sara was very responsive and professional when I called, and I was able to set up a date for someone to come out and clean our home within a week. The housekeeper arrived on time and we did a quick walk-through of my home. She was very friendly and energetic. She asked plenty of questions, which I thought was great. She ended up doing a superb job, and we returned to a beautifully cleaned home. She neatened up toys and game areas in my kids' room and that was a pleasant surprise (kids were even impressed). I am pretty picky and I was not able to find any area she didn't clean well or neglect. Everything was perfect. She left me a note saying she ended up staying an hour longer then the Big Deal coupon stated in order to get everything done, and I appreciated that level of consideration. Excellent job overall, very satisfied.

Bonnie was great! She was punctual, personable, and did a great job. Could not have asked for more.

Purchased a 4 hour cleaning coupon for my wife in December 2011. My wife set up an appointment to have house cleaning done with Welcome Home in April 2012 since the coupon was good for 6 months. I initially spoke to Sara when I made the puchase in December and she played everything off like they were a great company, who did a great job. Not true. When my wife made the appointment Sara said that she would send 2 house cleaners out and they would clean for 2 hours. We thought this was fair. Sara said they would hand clean our kitchen floor because it is a high gloss black italian ceramic. They did not hand clean it and the floor looks awful. Sara also said that the workers would split up and do the work separately. They did not. The first hour both workers were together talking and joking around in our sunrrom. They did a horrible job on both bathrooms. They didn't do any vacuuming upstairs. The windows in the sunroom have streaks. They arrived late. We are looking for a company to clean our home regularly and it's obvious that Welcome Home doesn't want our business. When they were asked to finish vacuuming the upstairs livingroom they said that they had another customer they had to get to. They did an awful job cleaning our house and we will let friends, family, co-workers know not to use them.

We paid $74 for the Big Deal to have our house cleaned for 4 hours by one person. Scheduling was easy and the woman showed up on time (with her grandson). My wife first asked her to clean upstairs (where she did a great job). She even had my wife review the work before she went downstairs - kudos for this. The housekeeper then moved to the 1st floor where she did a good job on everything she did but it's the items she didn't do where we had issues. The run in the living room was not vacuumed, the blinds were not dusted and to top it off the housekeeper left 1/2 hr early (granted she did have her grandson there to help her so not too upset about this one). I wouldn't have minded that she left but she didn't even have my wife look over her work - which would have prevented the areas she missed. Overall a good job and when we hire a full-time housekeeper we will definitely have them come out to give us an estimate. Lastly, we did receive a follow-up call from the owner where we expressed our issues. She was very kind and made sure to reassure my wife this type of stuff is not brushed aside.
