The cleaning on the first visit was completed with relative ease by the 2 ladies in the allocated 4 hours. On the subsequent 2 sessions, the 2 ladies did not fully complete the effort. That was because our lists included too much to complete in that amount of time. When they were at our house, they were always friendly, attentive to their work to complete as much as possible and willing to do what was ask of them. The quality of cleaning was acceptable but not exceptional. Since each time there were a different ladies to do the cleaning, they were not familiar with the house and the expectations. In summary, the rating may be due to our expectations since this is our first experience having a cleaning service. We have always completed our own cleaning to meet our expectations.

Sara Grzeszczak, Was a pleasure on the phone. She was very polite, a good listner & accommodating with her busy work load. The ladies she sent out where well spoken and hard workers. They payed attention to details and were very polite. Nice job Guy

They were punctual and thorough and did a great job.

Everything was good, from first phone conversation, to quote, to meeting the employee who was exactly on time and friendly. Did a walk through with what I wanted done in order of importance. I was pleased with final product. Have used this company again and would recommend them.

I purchased a $100 Deal of the Day from this company. Sara is super responsive (we played phone tag 3 times in one day) and asked me questions to determine my needs, which is very smart. Since I was having company the day after Christmas and in a bit of a panic; she suggested sending two cleaners over for 2 hours (which would count for 4 hours). They were prompt, eager to please, and since Sara emphasized I tell them my areas of focus, they got right down to it and exceeded my expectations with how much cleaning they were able to accomplish in 2 hours. I can't wait to have them come for the remaining 4 hours and obtain a quote for regular clearning. I also appreciated that my house didn't smell like like cleaning supplies.

They came, cleaned my house, were incredibly nice. Did a great job.

I have a one bedroom apartment that was in need of serious cleaning. Sarah was very professional (I was embarrassed at the mess but she didn't comment) and did a good job cleaning everythign while I went about my day. It was so nice to come home to a clean place.

They had a vacuum that wasn't working well, so I had to let them use my internal vacuum. They left 45 minutes early so they will have to come back for the time they owe me.

I am very pleased with the quality of work preformed in my house. My only regret is that I didn't book them for more time. I highly recommend them.

Basic house cleaning chores were adequately provided for a reasonable cost, by a friendly and capable person. I would be happy to recommended the service .

What was very nice is that they did a heavy cleaning the first time on the second floor, and also focused on the kitchen and bathrooms. But because they couldn't spend as much time on the first time, they focused on it the second time. I already bought two more cleanings. They worked very well.

Arrived on time and prepared to work. Worked quickly and efficiently to clean my house from top to bottom.

I actually had 4 paid visits and one redo, 8/24, 8/31 (redo), 9/14, 9/28, 10/26 (last visit). After the last visit I emailed the owner Sara and released her from the services. She emailed me back to ask why but I was disgusted and reading a number of past reviews she shouldn't be surprised. I asked Sara to have someone come to my home to provide all the details and my expectations. Lisa came and we reviewed in details and she took lots of notes. Shortly after two ladies came to my home while I was at the office. I don't believe that I needed to be there since Lisa took great notes. However upon my arrival I was stunned at the lack of work that was supposedly done. I immediately contacted Sara for a redo. Lisa along with a helper came back to my house to discover that the house was as I described. Lisa was genuinely upset with the representation these two other ladies provided. Lisa and her helper did a wonderful job and although I didn't need to pay anyone for a redo but I in good faith gave Lisa and her helper $60.00 each. I then scheduled bi-weekly appointments because on 8/25 I broke both my feet and I really needed the help. The next visit 9/14 was fair, the house smelled clean, linens were changed, the boys bathroom was great! On 9/28 the house didn't appear as clean. You didn't get that fresh smell when you walked in the house. The only linens changed were in the master and the dirty ones were left on the floor. The other bedroom wasn't touched. The linens left out for the other bedroom were still next the bed. I thought maybe Lisa was in a real hurry and I would let this one pass. 10/26 was the last visit! I walked into my house and something didn't feel right. There were only a handful of dirty rags. I have a great deal of flooring and I expect them to be cleaned b hand. I pulled back a throw rug and I was p*****. The rug was not moved and I knew this because there were dried dog paw prints on the floor. The chairs were not pulled away from the breakfast bar therefore crumbs remained on the floor. I was so upset I decided to really look around the house. The home office, finger prints on the desk (not wiped down). The clean linens left out AGAIN for the second bedroom were put back into the linen closet. The floor under the bed in the master never once cleaned. Baseboards throughout the house dusty. Window sills also dusty. The bathrooms were not nearly as clean as the redo visit. I found hair a specs of dirt on the powder room's floor. I took several pictures because I was so disgusted. I was going to send these to Sara and then I thought it wasn't worth the effort. The one and only time was the house well done was during the redo and I was there to supervise. If I have to babysit then I should be paid for my time. Word of advise...if your expectations are not met the first time then move on.

Bought from Angie's list. They did a good job, but I felt I needed to be there to coach. I would feel better once the were accustomed to my idiosyncrasies.I would use them again, though. A few surprises. They were not accustomed to dusting under beds (wood floor). Am I the only person who does this? They don't clean inside things like refrigerators, etc. Again, is this unusual? I was really surprised that they took a smoke break after two hours and drove away for 20 minutes or so. I just moved to the area and perhaps things are different here.

I typed in the section before this how it went overall. They did dust the top of the furniture. The third cleaners used some scent in their cleaning product that made me sick. I was not a good scent. This was not a good experience. I would not use this servide again. Service dates were June 2012, July 26, 2012, Sept. 13, 2012

We have used Welcome Home to clean our house for several years. We usually stick with Melanie and Sara (the owner) because they do such a great, consistent job and they are just nice people. Melanie and Sara are always on time and Sara does a great job of sending out reminder emails for cleanings and answers any questions or concerns I may have immediately. If I ever want them to focus on a specific area, they make sure it is done not only in that specific cleaning but also in future cleanings. I would recommend them to anyone!

They were quite pleasant, hardworking and efficient. The ladies were business-like without being brusque

The first cleaning that was performed was VERY poor. However, the owner agreed to send somebody out to redo that cleaning. The other 3 cleanings were performed to expectations. The workers were very friendly and put forth a good image for the company. The same woman cleaned our house the last few times and did very good work. However, she was quite a bit slower than other cleaners we have used in the past. The result - she wasn't able to get as much of the house done when compared to other companies we have used. I struggle with rating this company a 'B'. I was going to go with a 'C'; however, the owner acknowledged the poor job made by the first cleaners and rectified it. For fixing the mistake I bumped Welcome Home up a notch.

I had been using Welcome Home for almost a year. For the past few months, I had been noticing more and more things being neglected at my cleanings. I contacted the owner and even emailed pictures to show that the cleaning was truly being neglected and not just something that was missed one week. She seemed genuinely concerned and offered me a half off at my next cleaning. When I returned home after the next cleaning, I found a couple of the neglected to do basic things that should be completed at every visit: sweep and mop the kitchen and bathroom floors. When speaking to the owner, she basically said there was nothing she could do about it. She would be unable to send anyone out before the holidays and that it seemed that there wasn't anyone on her staff that would be able to satisfy my wants. She did offer to send back the check for the last visit which I will appreciate getting since I had to do the work myself and will spend the next couple months taking care of the areas of the home that have been neglected.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for $199 which included an initial 4-hour cleaning by two people and two subsequent 2-hour, 2-person cleanings. We've had two out of the three so far, and I'm delighted with the service. Sara, the owner, was very responsive in returning my phone calls and scheduling the service. We've had two different crews come to the house and both were very thorough, professional, and hardworking. They have scrubbed the three baths, dusted everything, vacuumed and mopped all floors, and cleaned kitchen counters and appliances. My house is cleaner than it's been in a long time, and I am only sorry I waited so long to schedule the service! I am looking forward to the final of the three visits and will be inquiring about continuing the service after my initial Big Deal is finished.

The company was very responsive and accommodative to our schedule. We bought a house and they came in and did a very good job for an initial cleaning. We had two cleaners for a total of eight hours combined. We had them focus on the basement while targeting cob webs and insects...looked brand new afterwards.

Overall the service was fine. On the first day one of the cleaning ladies said several times that they needed more time to clean my house so at the end of the 4 hours they were rushing to complete the tasks instead of asking me what I really wanted completed so on the first day there where items left half cleaned. The company works well with your schedule and thing I would recommend is if you leave a message be specific on what time period you are looking for. My experience was too many voicemail messages back and forth. When I received a message they didn't tell me what type of of information they needed from me to schedule the first job.

The house cleaners showed up on time, ready to go. The two house cleaners did a very thorough cleaning of our bathroom, kitchen, bedrooms, and downstairs living area. Everything was dusted, mopped, scrubbed, and vacuumed. Our stove surface was cleaned. The interior of the microwave was cleaned. Toilets, tubs, sinks, and shower stalls were scrubbed. All the floors in the house were either mopped or vacuumed. The house looked great when they left. The two ladies that came to my house worked very hard during their entire time in our house. They asked me to check everything before they left to make sure I was happy (which I was). I will be using them again in the future.

housekeeper arrived on time. asked what needed to be done, swept, mopped, vacuumed 1st floor. cleaned kitchen and bathroom. spent 1.5 hours on bathroom, not sure if it was that dirty. overall we are satisfied. looking forward to the next visit

Cleaning Service was phnomenal. We will continue to use them in the future.
