I purchased an Angie’s List Big Deal for this service. They were good and they started off really well. The first cleaning was phenomenal, but they started going down hill from there. I was not overly comfortable with them so we switched after the 16 hours was done. They came out a couple of different times. The first time was for either a four or six hour cleaning and there were at least two ladies. After that it was about two hours for the remainder of whenever we wanted to bring them in. Cleaning the refrigerator was extra. They cleaned the bathrooms, floors and kitchen, what I would call basic. What was really interesting about this is that we purchased this service shortly after building a house so they were coming into a brand spanking new house. The level of effort should have been pretty low. This is not to say they did not do a good job, because they did. But, I would have expected something a little better seeing that the house was in the shape that it was. They did break something of mine, but as soon as I told them they credited me back for it so they were very good about that.

They did a good job cleaning but didn't get as much done in the two hours as we anticipated, so we had to pay them extra to stay a little longer.

Not good.. Cleaners kept going outside for a smoke. I knew it would be a tough job. But one woman worked and the other one just kind of wandered around lightly "dusting" I would not trust them in my home again.

The cleaning was done well. Only complaint was the two ladies took over 1/2 hour smoking break in their car in front of our home and smelled of smoke when reentered home. Thus, they also cleaned for less time then promised.

The two ladies showed up on time. They were very friendly admiring items in my home. They completed the downstairs on the first day . They were unable to complete the upstairs on the second day. I gave them both a tip. When I checked their work I noticed that the string on my blind was broken. Shutters were not dusted. They did not use their time wisely.

since it was only 1 person to do all the work, I gave areas that i wanted her to clean kitchen, living room.diniing room and upstaris in master bath and bedroom. at the end of four hours was not able to get all of the upstairs completed. What was done was good and I was satisfied. would use them again

There was a small hiccup in scheduling but when the gal came she did a phenomenal job. There was lots of dust and some silt on the tile floor which was cleaned up very well. She brought her own tools (vacuum, mops, buckets etc) and cleaning supplies which saved me from wasting time looking for similar items. Overall I was extremely pleased with the results.

I couldn't get my shower base clean, they did. Baseboards, carpet corners, kitchen, spider webs, three bathrooms, sunroom, all to my satisfaction and fast. Thanks. Work was so very professional. I lost the name glad Angie's list reminded me.

The cleaning tech was 45 min late but got right to work. I told her what I wanted done (specifics) and she stated that she was only paid for 5 hours so she would do what she could in that time. I told her I was happy to pay more so that the job was done if it took longer then the 5 hours as I didn't want just 3/4 of my house cleaned. She ended up staying over a little to be sure the house was done but I found myself cleaning over several areas that were not done or missed. It was not really the deep clean I was looking for and her work was a little sloppy. I would use them again if another tech was assigned and be more specific when setting up my appointment so that I pay for and receive what I am expecting out of the service.

That was not a good experience. They were very non-professional. I didn't even use the last visit. I just didn't want them back. Some items were broken. They sent one person for four hours and I found broken items. The second time different people came. It was just not professional, it was not organized and I didn't even use the last visit. I didn't want them anymore. The price was good, but the way it worked out, it wasn't worth it.

They arrived on time. Discussed cleaning options with me. Started their job and non stop for two hours did what they were directed to do.

Owner came with a helper due and I felt the work could have been better. Overall, a good cleaning because I have lots of things around and cleared as much as possible. Owner was moving back home due to illness and helper was training to take over services. Didn't feel that the helper was as diligent as the owner herself. Would not use if helper was the main person for future.

I felt like this was a waste of money and they didn't do the best of job.

We were really put out. These women came and they didn’t have all of their supplies, they had to use ours. They raced through the work as fast as possible. They did a lot of things, but we didn’t think they did a very good job. I think we were put off by the fact that they came without their supplies. They had to borrow our vacuum cleaner and other supplies. They gave the attitude they weren’t really trying to earn our continued business.

The house was very clean when I came home, and they even cleaned a few dishes I had to leave in the sink.

I was unable to use the Big Deal due to the company not being able to service my area. They were however, very responsive and professional with me when we spoke.

Overall it went very well. The crew called to report that they would be 20 minutes late due to traffic and asked if that would cause a problem. I told them that was fine. That was the reason for the B rating. When they arrived they asked what was to be done and went through the house with me to make sure it was clear as to what rooms were to be cleaned. They asked about the cleaning products to be used on various items, etc. The crew of 2 young women worked continuously for the entire time and asked if I was pleased with what was done after completion of the upper level. They were professional and pleasant throughout the day. A few small items needed additional attention and they completed the tasks without hesitation. It was good to be able to tell the crew exactly what was to be done and that they readily understood. There was no language barrier at all.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service and it turned out very well; I am still using them. The Big Deal goes way back over a year and I still use that service. They have been very good, reliable and I have had no problems at all. I like the specific person that they sent out. I always ask for this one particular cleaner. I am impressed with her; she is good. I have never had any problems with the owner, Sara. She is very nice and tries to be accommodating. There is no problem with the owner calling back.

This was an Angie's list Big Deal. Eight hours of cleaning for $99 which is a great bargain. The service was very nice and accommodating when we set up the appointment. We divided it into two 4 hour sessions. The first session the cleaner was an hour late; however I don't think it was her fault. She had a morning job near Highland Park, then ours in Woodstock. That is a lot of crazy travel time! But she did an excellent job even though she had to stay until nearly 6 pm. She cleaned our really dirty refrigerator (outside) and other appliances. We were very pleased. The 2nd cleaning occurred 3 weeks later. This time the cleaning lady arrived an hour early and we were not home yet. My husband was taking the afternoon off so he could let her in and do some other chores. Although we were entitled to 4 hours of cleaning she stayed only for 2 hours. She did a well enough job, but if we'd known she'd finish in 2 hours we would have asked her to also dust and vacuum the basement or dust the blinds. Although I can't complain about paying $99 for 6 hours of service, the deal was for 8 hours. That sort of soured me a bit.

The 2 person crew did a good job. I asked about some missed areas in the cleaning (under the beds) and they went back and cleaned the areas with no issues. I have a very tough schedule to fit them in so when I scheduled them it was for a specific time. For the last visit I scheduled I had to cancel because they were running late from a previous customer.

I purchased a big deal for Welcome Home Cleaning. There were no additional charges. They were very thorough and very personable. I would use them again in the future.

There were three cleaning sessions in total. The first one was two women for four hours each, for what was described as a "deep cleaning." The next two visits were also two women who each spent two hours, for a total of four hours of labor, each visit. They were competent and personable. They missed dust on the top of the light fixture in one bathroom, but when I pointed it out, they cheerfully rectified the oversight.
