We hired Ken to paint our large master bedroom - walls, vaulted ceilings, and closet interiors. There was also a significant amount of drywall repair that needed to be done due to removing the old closet organizers, and patching areas where new electrical and cable was recently run. Ken did an excellent job on the patching and painting - I can't even tell where the holes had been cut in the drywall. Ken also refinished some areas of the hardwood floor that had been under the old closet door track (and was never finished when the previous owner installed the floors!), and didn't charge extra for the work. He finished the job in a little over a day and a half, and did a great job cleaning up when the job was done. Ken was a pleasure to do business with, and we will definitely hire him again in the future. Thanks again!

Ken, came in and gave me initial estimate. Arrived on time. I wound up having him paint more rooms and he was still done in 2 days. Had large living area, kitchen and 2 bedrooms. Was really impressed by work and quality. Will be using him again in the spring to paint some of the other interior rooms in the house with high ceilings. I would defaintely recommend, I had no complaints.

Working with Mr. Holter was a very positive experience. He was prompt with his estimate and flexible in arranging the work schedule to accommodate our needs. We were replacing our upstairs floors at the same time. Kenneth was very helpful in thinking through the order of work. He also made valuable suggestions for color combinations that improved the end quality of our project. Their work was very neat and professional. What really impressed us about Kenneth was his integrity. Here's something you don't find all the time. We were not home while the painting took place. During the middle of the day, Kenneth called my wife to apologize because in moving a small dresser, a slight scratch was made in the floor. Ken got the number of the flooring man and at his own expense had the flooring man come back to our house and fix the scratch. I am certain we would never have know about it if Kenneth had not been so honest. We will be calling on Kroon Painting for our future work because they are excellent craftsmen and display a rare professional integrity that instills trust.

I hired Ken for repainting the entire house interior and some exterior. I already had the paint brand and shade in mind. He bought the product. The house is around 3500 square feet with basement. It has high ceilings. His estimate for paint and labor sounded good to me. He sent one of his workmen, who completed the work in great detail and care, moving furniture, etc. He was also very reachable through email and phone. Even though we were not present at the home, they did a professional job without wasting time.

The experience went very well. Kenneth was very professional, courteous, and very accomodating. He started on August 29, 2012 and finished September 12, 2012 just like he said he would. He was always on time. He did an excellent job preparing all the walls before painting them and used two coats. All the supplies and materials were all included in the price. I had just moved here from other state and there was alot of adjusting to be done on my part with the house and family. So there were many times when I would have to ask Kennth if he could leave early or come later and he had no issue with that at all. I really do appreciate Kenneth working with my schedule. I also decided to have new counters installed in my kitchen and asked Kenneth if he could do the kitchen last and he had no problem with that either. He even painted all my window sills and I did not ask him to do that and he did not charge me for it either. I really appreciate Kenneth for taking pride in his work and going that extra mile to take care of my painting needs.He also had the best price, I called the top five painters on Angie's List in my area and he was by far the best price. He was completely dependable and did great work. He honored his estimate even though our tile did not come off as easily as we had anticipated. We will definitely hire Kenneth for future work. Great guy and great work!

He is very responsible and did a nice job. We were very happy. I'd give them an "A" without a questions. Their pricing was good and the quality of work was certainly an "A", they do very nice work. He showed up when he was supposed, he got back to me when he was supposed to and we text back and forth. It was a very pleasant experience. I've used him 3 different times.

I met with Kenneth on the morning of Jan. 7, 2012. He was very thorough when we went through the house, and advised me that, if his proposal was accepted, he would be able to rearrange some projects and get started as early as Tuesday. I received his proposal the next day. After comparing it to others I had received that were more expensive and had a later start date, I contacted him and made arrangements to meet on Monday the 9th to give him a down payment. He told me that they would be starting on Tuesday, and hoped to have it completed within a week. As I checked on his progress throughout the week, I was concerned that the amount of patching that they ended up doing was going to drive the price up. Kenneth assured me that everything was going as planned. As he promised, he was done early Wednesday morning, and the actual cost came in right where he said it would. He even painted the doors, that I do not believe were included in the estimate. That doesn't seem like a big deal, but I was thinking I was going to have buy new ones. Kenneth and his partner did a fantastic job, and I have been throwing his name out all over the place! This is the first time I have ever had to hire a contractor for anything, and working with Kenneth really was a pleasure. I will definitely hire him again in the future.

I received quotes from five painters and I hired Kroon Painting based on the prep work Ken explained he would do, his professionalism, and the thoroughness of his quote. HIs rates were also on the lower end of the five I had received and I'm glad I went with him because the final result was quality work at a great price. I'm thrilled with everything they did. Both Ken and Raul worked on this project and it's obvious they take pride in what they do. Unlike some of the painters I've used in the past who said they apply two coats of paint but really only go over wet paint twice, Ken actually waited for the paint to dry before applying the second coat. They were very professional, cleaned everything up each day when they were done, and were a real pleasure to work with. I will definitely use Kroon Painting in the future. Ken is great! He and Raul are honest, hard working gentlemen and I highly recommend Kroon to anyone looking for painters.

Ken returned my call for an estimate within one day. He arrived on time, reviewed the project, walked me through what needed to be done and emailed me an estimate for the work within 2 days. He also provided me with an approximate schedule of when the work would start (about a month from when he quoted). After accepting the quote, Ken got back to me as we approached the date to discuss color and duration for the work. His team arrived when he said they would and worked for three days taking care to use tarps to protect our patio and brickwork walkways. The work conducted was excellent and I would definitely use Kroon Painting for future work.

We were hosting a graduation party and has less than 2 weeks to get the deck power washed and stained. We called Kroon and Ken estimated the job within a day. He said he could have the work finished on time and he did what he said. The work was done in time for the party and he did an exceptional job. The deck looks great and we had many compliments on it. Ken made three visits to the house to 1) power wash, 2) first coat of stain and 3) second coat. Each tiome he was there as promised. I will definitely use Kroon again.

Ken was very thorough and did a great job. The job took about 7 days-- as he had said it would. He even worked on Memorial day so that we could get our house on the market.

As stated above, Kenneth does excellent work at a very fair price. He is friendly, prompt, responsible and a diamond in the rough! He did a beautiful job on two bedrooms in the past and this time, did an outstanding job on my family room ceiling. I thought it would never look normal again....foolish thought with Kenneth doing the work! He both repaired and painted the ceiling to perfection. I trust Kenneth in my home and would not have anyone but him doing work in my house.

We received an estimate to paint our small kitchen and dining room included a vaulted ceiling. Estimate was $550 for labor, $150 for materials. Good price but we decided to go with someone whom we liked better.

Kenneth was prompt and stained doors and trim in family room. He did a beautiful job and was very neat. we were very happy and will definately hire him back for other projects we have planned

This is the second time that I have used Kroon Painting for interior work--once at my previous home, and now in my new home. Kenneth and Raul did an excellent job. Kenneth joined us at the home inspection 2 weeks prior to closing in order to produce an estimate. Kenneth indicated that he would need 2 weeks of work in order to complete the work (he completed the job in EXACTLY 2 weeks as indicated). Raul and Kenneth showed up as scheduled on the morning following our closing. Kenneth was flexible and painted the rooms in the order we requested, and was courteous and professional. My family created quite a lot of traffic throughout the home, as we were moving in while Kenneth and Raul were painting. On several occasions during the job, I left Kenneth and Raul alone at my home without any worries or concerns. I trusted Kenneth and Raul, and will no doubt call them in the future whenever I need more painting or drywall work done. With the painting complete, our home looks brand new. Kroon Painting did an excellent job, and I couldn't be happier.

Kenneth Rocks! After reading the Angie?s list reviews, I had to ask myself? This seems a little good to be true! It turns out the reviews of his work (and work-ethic) are very much on-the-mark! He (and his associate)? ? show up on time; are solid (but not frantic) workers ? are very personable and courteous ? CLEAN up daily ? it?s true: you barely know he was there other than the new paint!! ? are very detail-oriented; he takes pride in his work and it shows ? Kenneth is very willing to listen and accommodate any reasonable thoughts as the job progresses. Frankly ? I could not have asked for a better contractor to paint our house (exterior 100%). I thought his pricing was very honest and fair; our (older) house needed a noticeable amount of attention ? it looks almost new again! Hire Kenneth. I will (if you have not booked him first). Excellent! We hired Ken last year to do some painting inside our home and were very impressed with his workmanship! He is extremely patient, does not rush, and VERY NEAT. He provided all the supplies and materials and used paint brushes for the entire job--no rollers! His partner painted the shed and finished staining the outside deck--also good work. He let us know when he or his partner would be there each day and was always very prompt. Ken is very friendly, professional, and his quality of work is stellar!

We contacted Kenneth far in advance and scheduled the paintinting job to be completed in a week. kenneth gave us a fair price to paint the interior of our home. Kenneth and his employee started and completed the painting project with no issues. Kenneth and his employee are hard workers who pay attention to detail. They are respectful of our home and clean up after themselves. We have used kenneth twice in the past and will cotinue to hire him for all our painting needs. Over five years ago we used another company recommended by many co-workersto paint our interior. At the time we felt they did a good job.
