We took advantage of Angie list deal to get sump pump services and television for $175. I called April to schedule my appt, even though we were to schedule it only on business days she accommodated my sat request and they showed up did the work. They gave me a quote for hydro jetting (we didn't have any clogs but there was build up). Again they accommodated my request to think about the service to make the decision and still gave me 50% off So overall a good experience.

My experience with Ex-Stink was excellent. From April who took my call and said she could get someone out right away to Myron who did the work. He was professional, friendly and explained everything to me including showing me the bad part and what it should be. We just moved to this area and I feel very fortunate to have found a company like Ex-Stink to take care of my plumbing problems. I would used them again in a second and would highly recommend them. the leak was found and repaired in less than an hour. the guys cleaned up before leaving.

We started to see water coming out of the lowest drain on Saturday. I have immediately invited a technician from Roto-Rooters, who cleaned the line and advised us check the line with the camera, which we did. The camera revealed that the line is blocked 70 feet down. (Possibly, tree roots got into the pipe and eventually got it cracked and shifted. As we got our first work proposal to replace the broken pipe, we started to look for alternatives. ExStink's proposal ($1900) was almost $1000 less than the one from Reliance Plumbing, the cheapest recommended by the Village of Wilmette's, and twice less than Roto-Rooter's estimate. The work included excavating to the pipe 7 feet below the ground, replacing broken pipe and installing 6'' clean out outlet. (I think this is a standard practice now, because 4'' access hole in the house is not big enough for adequate cleaning.) The company performed the work next day. They started around 8:30 and were done by 2PM (including inspection). ExStink does not do ground compaction, which means a mound of earth was left at the digging site. They said to start pouring water on it in the Spring, which should make it settle within two-three months. My only complaint is that they left plastic crumbles on the ground and ruined couple of my young bushes. This could be avoided. I was also surprised that they did not confirm the position of digging (relying on Roto-Rooter's diagnosis).
