It went extremely well. The techs were punctual, professional and they explained the process in detail.

They kept finding stuff and I felt like they should've been able to find that originally instead, they kept adding stuff on. The estimate wasn't very clear. It ended up being several thousand more than I what I thought it would be.

The office staff made it easy to schedule an appointment. Dave, the technician, called to advise that he was on the way, arrived within the estimated time frame, performed the work efficiently, and provided an explanation of his findings. I couldn't ask for anything more in the way of courtesy and professionalism.

I have had rodding done very many times throughout the years as a preventative measure, but used other companies. From now on, I will definitely be staying with Ex-Stink for my annual sewer inspections and roddings. They truly provide exceptional service. They are knowledgeable, competent, industrious, friendly, and have a courteous manner. I like the fact that they bring their camera and can show you on their screen exactly what needs to be done. I felt very comfortable and pleased with this company's integrity, which is something that I cannot say about the other companies who have performed sewer rodding at my home.

They were awesome. When they didn't find any issues in the sewer line they went above and beyond and checked some things inside and were able to very quickly determine why we had a smell coming from our main stack and they were able to fix that.

They called us 30min in advanced and were right on time. Dave presented himself and immediately started explaining what they would do. I explained what happened in the past and he also looked in the laundry so see what might be the issue. Work was done professionally and he recommend a few things that might prevent the clogging. They found iron debris in the sewer line that would require to be removed. They will send me a quote for that

Great. They quickly went to work and found the problem, which appears to be a pipe leak, but turned out to be a faulty valve. Replaced the valve and checked for other leaks, but everything seemed to check out. 2 person crew was very professional and efficient. Will definitely use Ex-Stink for all my plumbing needs! Great job guys!

I had been experiencing bad odors that I really couldn't define for sure, so I had the sewer line looked at to determine if that was the problem. As it turns out, there were no plumbing issues and the sewer line is working fine. The smell has since gone away and things are back to normal. I was, however, very pleased with the work that Dave from Ex Stink performed on the service call. He was very thorough in trying to determine if there were any signs of a plumbing problem that would contribute to bad odors. As stated, there were no plumbing issues, but at this point, I have peace of mind that everything is working as it should. I had a lot questions and Dave answered them patiently, so it was sort of like attending a plumbing class, since I picked up a lot of useful information. I will most definitely call Ex Stink if I experience plumbing problems in the future.

Person on the phone was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. Made an appointment for two days out, but the next day they called to say they were in the area, had finished another appointment early, and could come by today if we preferred. The two men showed up quickly, did a great job on unblocking the line, and showed us some plumbing issues they'd noticed. The did not try to upsell any additional services and were very accommodating when we said we were trying to keep costs down. Was able to use the Angie's list deal without any additional cost to get the work done. Would definitely recommend them--in fact already have!

It did not go too well!! They found a blockage under the sidewalk which the City of Chicago would repair. The City did replace the broken sewer and all is fine now.

Very professional. Explained situation very clearly. Quoted a price based on what they perceived to be the problem(thought that there were two lines to repair). After digging everything up, they realized that they were incorrect and that there was only one line. They adjusted the pricing. Given that I would have had no idea, I thought that was very honest and ethical. This is a first class company and one that I would highly recommend to anyone.

They were good. Actually they did not perform the job fully like they said they were going to. They were supposed to put the camera in the sewer inside of the house and outside of the house but they only put it in the outside of the house. They were supposed to camera the whole sewer from inside, outside but they only did the outside. He said it was because he saw the water flowing on the inside of the house and that it should be fine. It wasn't, because the next day the sewer backed up again. Then I went in there and did it myself. I cut the pipe, plastic PVC and I saw a big clog in here so I unclogged it and fixed it. I called back the next day. They charged me 99 bucks to come out and charged me another 99 to do the camera. He only did half so he refunded me my 99 dollars.

I replaced one section of sewer pipe and installed a sewer clean-out roughly six months prior through another company, but I noticed some potential back-up on a routine check of my sewer pit. I called Ex-Stink, who had rodded out my sewer previously (can't beat their rodding-and-televising deal), and sure enough, they noticed some gnarly roots that were causing a problem. Dave also explained what the clean-out contractor had done wrong that created the problem and explained how they could quickly fix it. After the initial rodding, Dave and Shane needed to do an extra pass due to the huge influx of tree roots, but the added cost was definitely reasonable, and the line looks great now. I should have just asked Ex-Stink to install the clean-out in the first place, these guys know their stuff and they're happy to explain every part of the job. Save yourself the headache and call Ex-Stink if you have a sewer issue, you won't regret it.
