Ex-Stink Plumbing & Sewer

It would take me 3 days to explain in detail the disaster EX-Stink, not only walked into but professionally repaired. The aforementioned disaster was caused by an enormous tree and the completely incompetent people at Roto-Rooter. Plumbing, especially sewer work, is an inherently dirty job. (Kudos to you guys.) The job that EX-Stink worked on, I believe, was an exceptionally tough one. They approached it as professionals, they performed their jobs as professionals and the result is a very satisfied customer. Where the Roto-Rooter "team" ran away whining about the dirt and the filth and tough conditions, these guys stepped up and did a job that Roto-Rooter was completely incapable of doing. Techs showed up on time and did a great job clearing up our sewer drain all the way to the street. They took the extra time to scope the drain with a video camera to point out areas of potential concern down the road - overall, am very pleased with the service and would highly recommend to others.

Purchased coupon. Company claims since I don't have a clean out that they cannot honor coupon. Although I did speak with the company rep prior to purchasing and clarified that I did not have a clean out, there was some other kind of misunderstanding and she told me that they would've honored the coupon for sewer rodding. Issue is that since I don't have a clean out and since they will have to go through the flood control, they re-quoted me $279, which I disagreed with paying since I paid for the $99 rodding.

They were very courteous and professional and seem genuinely helpful and upfront about things. They didn't try to sell me anything which was nice. I would hire them again for future plumbing needs. Thanks Ex Stink!

I would highly recommend Ex-Stink Plumbing. Everything met or exceeded my expectations. The first visit was to utilize the Angie's list coupon for Sump Maintenance and Camera of the sewer line. In addition to the inspection, Harold installed a back-up sump pump at the time of the initial visit. Pricing was very fair for the work contracted. We also knew that we were beginning to see a back-up in our sewer line and they used the camera to identify the area where thick tree root growth was blocking the line. We then scheduled Ex-Stink to come out a second time the following week to put in outdoor clean outs for rodding the line. Outdoor work was completed yesterday. Pricing was very fair for the work contracted. I also had a minor toilet issue that was quickly taken care of, as well. Each time they were scheduled to arrive, they were prompt, extremely courteous and neat. We met several teams of plumbing staff and each team was on-time, professional and truly could not have been nicer. Everyone I spoke with in the office and at my home cared about the quality and integrity of their work. We will definitely be calling Ex-Stink for our future plumbing needs!!

Went fine. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

Crew arrived on time with the paperwork detailing what was purchased through Angie's List Big Deal. They put on protective boots to keep my off white carpets clean. performed the test of both the primary sump pump and our battery back-up sump pump. They also tested our ejection pump. All were in working order and they cleaned-up after their work. They were very considerate of surroundings. Job was well done.

The owner, Harold, come over to perform a septic system review. He called prior to the appt. to let me know he was on his way, and then once arrived, worked quickly and professionally. Very honest person and did not try to sell any additional services. Would highly recommend Harold and his team for plumbing repairs.

They were very courteous nice guys. They explained why they couldn’t do the work and were just very professional.

They were unable to unblock the sewer line , after several attempt to rod the sewer line. Another company came and unblocked the sewer line.

It turned out fine. They were very friendly and good. Scheduling was fine. The price of the service could have been lower.

Harold and his assistant were very pleasant and easy to deal with and very professional. Harold did inform me that the rodding in the big deal was only for a 2" cutter, which I did not see specified in the big deal. He advised it was another $149 to use larger cutters, When I said I did not see the size of the cutter mentioned in the big deal, he agreed to use a 3"cutter to clear significant roots from the line without additional charge beyond the big deal. Because of equipment failure, Harold gave me a 30 day warranty on the rodding of the washer line, which cost $149 since it was not included in the big deal. We did have to call him back, though it appeared the problem was perhaps air in the line. He was unable to use the repaired equipment as it was too large for the pipes. The line is now cleared and we have had no further problems to date.

Did the job as expected - no issues.

Ended up paying extra for something I'm still not sure is true, but I needed the peace of mind.

The provider contacted me and arrived timely, the team was very helpful and courteous. They showed me what potential problems I may have in the future and recommended a jetting of the drain pipe. There was no high pressure from them, they wrote up a quote for me and applied the $99.00 I paid for the camera work against the cost of the jetting. Based upon what they found and what I saw, I will be contacting them to perform the jetting of the drain in the near future. The team was very professional cleaning up when they were finished; very "no-nonsense" and straightforward which was exactly what I was looking for.

Outstanding customer service.

Overall nice guys. They were professional and clearly knew what they were doing. They arrived after the time frame window, but not by too much. They did call to say they would be late. I am always weary of the up-sell when purchasing Angie Lists "Big Deals", but it was too good of a deal to pass up. Of course there was the up-sell and I fell for it. Even though I knew the up-sell was coming they still got me. They even tried up-selling me before they started rodding the sewer and even knew what was wrong. The good news is that going forward they offer a discounted price for the annual service which is about $100 less than what I was quoted when call around to other places.
