Howard arrived and was courteous and professional. He spent quite a bit of time with us and had our permission to cut out some ceiling drywall and remove some tile in the bath. He was honest and shared it was not a plumbing issue. We appreciate his honesty, I was able to make an appointment with them within one day and they were punctual. If we ever have any plumbing issues, we will call them!

It went great. They explained everything they were doing, worked efficiently and cleaned up when done. They gave me some suggestions for upgrading my sump system but didn't try to sell anything.

I had a great experience with Harold from Ex-Stink. He found that a cracked toilet was causing the issue and made recommendations about how to rectify the damage done by the leak. Rather than purchasing additional plumbing services from Ex-Stink I have decided to remodel the bathroom and start with new fixtures. I would definitely recommend this company. Their customer service is excellent.

The service folks were extremely professional and helpful in clearing the blockage that was caused by cooked white rice being run down the garbage disposal. If I ever need plumbing services in the future, I will most certainly give Ex-Stink a call.

Dave and his assistant arrived at the designated time. They put on their shoe covers and went to the basement drain. They presurized their pump cylinder and blew the clog out of the drain. While Dave went upstairs to deal with the second clog his assistant cleaned the shower. Once Dave finished in the upstairs bathroom his assistant cleaned while Dave wrote up the visit and took the money. All done efficiently and cleaned up completely.

Dave was the "point" for the work and he also had help from colleagues. Dave explained the somewhat-complicated situation to me clearly and professionally. He then provided several recommendations and options along the way. He was courteous and polite and professional in every interaction. Ex-Stink is a group that I trust and I would recommend them highly.

Guys were easy to work with and pretty timely given the amount of work involved. Very helpful in terms of providing detailed explanations, answering questions, and working with Village to coordinate permit approvals, discuss project, etc. I had been flooded numerous times due to sewer backup and needed a reliable fix. Ex-stink team were knowledgable of city concerns and historical issues with flooding. Villlage representative also confirmed this would be best option (overhead sewer). Work was completed in a 2.5 day period with minimal disruption to my tenant. Due to an emergency job that came, team did have to come back to complete sump installation, but this was completely quickly. An additional follow up was required due to loose fitting on the ejector pit plumbing (nothing material, came out quickly to adjust). As far as cost, these projects unfortunately are very expensive but worth it given the amount of damage one can have. I felt pricing was reasonable in comparison to other vendors. Thanks Ex-Stink.

The service was good. It seemed fine. They did the work and recorded the previous work that had been done and it was fine. It took them an hour maybe to do the work and there was only one person that came out. I think the price was very comparable to other Deals. Nothing bad went wrong after they were done.

It went fabulous! It ended up being more difficult than they expected, they held to a reasonable price.

They let me know that it wasn't collapsing and suggested to have it cleaned out due to some root intrusion, but assured me that it was still in working condition. They also let me know that there was a catchement that was failing and needed to be repaired. Having them come out was very helpful as they were able to help me find a major issue that I was unaware of. The overall estimate was beyond my budget but I may schedule to have the sewer line cleaned out and I will most likely be calling them.

I cannot begin to tell you how great Ex-Stink was! I had called another plumbing company that was higher on the list of plumbers in my area and the experience was HORRIBLE! I sent them packing. I call Ex-Stink and they worked me in today (If you are in the Chicagoland area, last night we had the tornadoes) and I know Ex-Stink was busy! Upon arrival, they introduced themselves and had genuine smiles that let you know they KNEW what they were doing. They went right to work - and I mean right to work! No screwing around, no additional selling, no excuses - just good old fashion honest, hard work! When they finished, no surprise or additional costs - the bill was exactly what they quoted - did I say they billed me for what they quoted?! I am a purchasing professional and have been in this field for almost 30 years so I have heard every possible sales pitch, up sale and excuse. So trust me when I say I do not give out praise unless it is warranted. I cannot begin to tell you how refreshing it was to have someone that is honest and hard working come into your home and do what they said they would do at the price they quoted. I purchased a short sale and have a lot of upgrades I want to perform. Ex-Stink is now my preferred plumber! Ex-Stink really needs to be higher on the list of preferred plumbers. If you are in the Lake Villa, Round Lake, Gurnee or Grayslake area, PLEASE do not hesitate to call them. I promise you will not be sorry! And do not be dissuaded because they don't offer coupons - you don't need them!

Called and the company said that he would try to make it that afternoon, but if not the next day. He showed up that day. Very knowledgeable. Thought he was honest, and his charge was a bit high, but completed the work to my satisfaction.

It went fine. The thing that stood out about them was how willing they were to explain everything to me. We walked through the block and removed the manhole cover off just to show me where it was and what it was. He showed me the sewer line that it’s working well. I will tell other people that they are very friendly, they are on time and they seem to be very knowledgeable.

They did a great job. I really got the feeling they cared about helping me, wanted to do a good job, and never conveyed I was just some guy keeping them from going home. Very pleasant experience working with them!

Water was backing up in basement sink so I called for the $99 sewer line clean out deal. Got a quick response and was schedule within 24hrs. Dave and Jerry came out. Very professional and polite. After diagnosing the problem we settled on a plan. Because the catch basin was full they couldn't get to the sewer pipe on that side, so we ran the rod through the other side hoping to breakthrough after the two lines joined. No dice, so I scheduled an appt with A&J sewer to come out the next day to pump out the catch. They did an excellent job and got rid of a lot of roots built up on the wall of the catch. Dave said he could come out the next day, Sat, to rod that side. It cost a bit more, but after years of neglect by the former owner, I was very satisfied with the cost and excellent service. Dave gave me some options for future work to install clean-outs on both lines. If I choose to do that in the future, Ex-Stink will be on the top of the list.

It was a really cold day, but didn't complain. also, our sewer line was difficult to rod and gave them some problems, but they still finished the job.
