While Chad can be very gruff at first, when it came time to work, he was very pleasant. He actually showed up 15 minutes early. It took three of us to lift this old manual wood garage door open before he worked on it. Now I'm able to open the door myself, and I'm 70. The door had not been opened for at least a year, because of all the problems. He replaced all the rollers, many of the roller brackets, and the inside sliding lock. He also adjusted the spring and lubricated everything. He worked on the door for over two hours with no complaints. I'd definately use Chad again.

Chad previously replaced my springs and rollers and did a good job at a reasonable price. After providing a neighbor's full door replacement job to him, worked with him on multiple different strategies to obtain a newer, refurbished or replacement door. Long story short, priced the same Clopay door with both him and Home Depot (HD). Let him know that his $1550 quote was about $300 more than the HD price without installation, and that I would pay him that for his expertise in removing the old springs, and supervising me on the install of the new door (I would do all labor except what I might need his help for), He initially agreed to that proposal, but on the day before we were scheduled to install, he whined about the arrangement (even though he avoided having to drive to Wisconsin to pick up the door - it had been delivered to my house by HD). Day of scheduled install he no showed and refused to return phone calls. Not reliable / only answers/returns calls when HE wants to.

I called on a Saturday to get a price on springs and cable replacements. I had left the office but left one of my guys behind to let him in and quote us before he started working. He came back with a quote of $1200 because he doesn't stock it and would have to go get them. When asked why so much he got angry. He stated the cables are $500 dollars and... Then I cut him off right there and told him he was way out of line. To which he started to berate me about it then said he would "give us $200 off, $1000, best I can do". Here's a link for the cables we needed. [*** Link removed ***] I'm by no means a "price shopper". I believe in quality and fair price for all parties involved. This was not a fair price. Businesses do need to profit, I truly get that, we own one. We got it repaired for $650. $200 in parts and $450 for labor, two guys, under two hours. Honestly, I felt that he was trying to take advantage of us because we own a business. His demeanor changed as soon as he heard that. He never gave us a written quote. He had my guy measure the springs and pressured him for an approval to start the work. When I told him no he actually cussing at me over the phone. His lack of professionalism is astounding. Unmarked truck, no supplies for the job, cluttered, bed full of miscellaneous, pet in the truck, had my guy work for him, berating me, high pressure, no written estimate.

I called the company at 6:00 in the morning concerned that I would not be able to leave for work. Believe it or not, they were at my house by 7:30 am and both springs were installed and working by 8:00 am. I am so impressed with this company as they were so friendly and professional. I would definitely hire them again

Chad not only installed the new garage door opener in under an hour, but he took all the garbage (packing, old opener, etc) with him. Chad was friendly, ''neighborly,'' and quick and efficient. I prefer to work with smaller vendors in my small home town, and he proved to live up to my ''big city'' expectations. Because my garage is old and I haven't decided what type of improvements I wanted to make to the garage, I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a new opener, etc. Chad was able to suggest an option that was more in line with my ''price expectations.''
