+ 0 moreAfter interviewing and receiving quotes from five contractors, we chose Westwork to skim coat and paint the walls and ceiling of our sun room to transform it from stucco to plaster. Wally, who performed the work, was a magician. He abraded the stucco to as level as possible, then he applied several coats of plaster to both the walls and ceiling. The corners now have a crisp 90 degree angle. After completing the plastering, he painted walls and ceiling. The entire job took six working days. We are extremely please with the results.
Description of Work: Skim coat and paint walls and ceiling in our sun room to transform it from stucco to plaster.

Description of Work: sealing, caulking and painting. They had previously (two years ago) completed bathroom, kitchen remodeling as well as new woodwork and many built-ins. They completely changed the look and functionality of our home. They restored it to its classical look. They are very professional and very skilled in carpentry, painting, and general remodeling. Description of Work: Westwork painted the outside of my home. They cleaned up after each days work. The quality was crazy good. I was amazed at the finished product. I was given an estimate and made a verbal agreement that I could pay however it suited my budget. I gave them a deposit and happily paid the balance off within a month. I never received an invoice, they trusted my word. Great people to work with.

+ -1 moreOur painter showed up every day at 7:30 AM and did a fabulous job. It took him several days to finish the job but it was done in a very professional manner. I found him to be very meticulous and he took pride in his work. My wife and I were most pleased with the job at hand.
Description of Work: Our painter extensively scraped our 104 year old Oak Park home initially and prepared the wooden surfaces by sanding, caulking and priming all bare wood surfaces. He then painted using Benjamin Moores satin finish.

Responsive to my phonecall, but busy and the weather didn't cooperate, so it took a while before they were able to come out and do the work. The gentleman that did the work did a wonderful job and was a very nice and respectful person.
