 + -1 moreAfter trying to use my mother in laws CD burner to save some files to disc (and failing) we found Compucare through the list, gave them a call and brought in her computer. The performed some tests on the machine, diagnosed the problem and recommended we replace the CD drive with a DVD/CD combo burner. They even installed some new software on the computer to make the burning easier. Problem solve. Nice guys too. I ordered the services & paid for it.

 + -1 moreEVERYONE I DEALT WITH WAS PLEASANT AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. ALSO, UNLIKE MANY COMPUTER PEOPLE, THEY WERE ABLE TO EXPLAIN THINGS IN A WAY I COULD UNDERSTAND. THE FACT THAT THEY MADE A ''HOUSE CALL'' SO QUICKLY ENDEARED THEM TO ME.
Description of Work: I CALLED THESE FOLKS IN DESPERATION BECAUSE I COULDN'T GET MY EMAIL TO OPERATE. ONE OF THEIR FELLOWS APPEARED IN HALF AN HOUR. HE WAS ABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM AND RECOMMENDED THAT MY LAPTOP GO TO THE SHOP FOR ADDITIONAL WORK. IT WAS READY THE NEXT DAY AND HAS BEEN FINE EVER SINCE.
