The live product that was planted seems fine. The lighting, which is nothing extreme, has needed four house calls. It's suppose to be a new system...I am not sure why all of the problems? They offer no explanation, either. Customer service is everything. We are totally disappointed with this company.

I found a worker peeing on the side of my house. Sickening first impression... I think he may have peed on some of the plants. Then, a couple of hours later, the three workers just up and left without notice and didn't come back, all the plants just sitting out in the hottest driest part of the summer without any word when they would be planted. The foreman said he "had another delivery he had to make." I got the feeling my job wasn't as important, or they over-scheduled... Additionally, two perfectly healthy bushes that were already planted were destroyed by the landscapers to the point that they died and I had to pull them out. Now, the front of the house looks ridiculous as I can't find suitable bushes to match the mature ones that are still in the ground. Scott never came by to see the project, nor did the project manager... not ever. I think this business charges whatever they can get away with and doesn't really care about the work that is done. I am embarrassed by my front yard and furious that I am back where I started, but with a stone wall and less $6,100. Beware. If the company cares, they will try to make things right with the customers.

The design looked good but was very expensive. We opted to buy the plants from them and do the planting ourselves. Plant prices were ok. Also ordered a delivery of mulch. We laid out a tarp for the mulch delivery and since it was windy we placed our shovels around the edge to hold it down. They delivered the mulch without letting us know they were there, and they buried all of the shovels! Didn't even take the time to move them. Took us quite a while to dig the shovels out. I left a message at their office thanking them for the delivery and mentioned the issue of the shovels being buried. I expected a courtesy call to just acknowledge the issue, but it never happened. Not very professional.

The initial consultation was fine with the supervisor coming to my house and giving me quotes and ideas. Because of the prices being so high I had to settle with the "pulverization" solution and still had to pay almost $6000. I wish I'd understood what this would do to my yard because I wouldn't have had them do the work. The yard looks worse than it did before I asked them to do the work. It's still un-level in areas and I had to have them come back out to smooth off an area they left. At the same time they put out more seed and flowers to replace the ones that had already died. The yard is now pretty much crab grass, nut grass and some grass that looks like mutant corn, and weeds. I have no idea what grass seed they used to re-seed but it didn't do anything but leave me with a weed fest. The guys that came to do the work were great - although there was a language barrier. The main problem with the pulverizing was the damage done to our concrete curbing - there's damage in multiple areas. I don't think it was done intentionally by any means - it was an accident but one that still hasn't been rectified. I lost almost all of the flowers they put in, even though I watered regularly. Trust me - with the re-seeding and the $700 water bills I know I watered properly. Although the supervisor was nice, he is apparently much too busy for one man because he doesn't check up on jobs, or follow through with his promises. I'm still waiting for the soil sample results. I went by the business location and told them I was very disappointed with my results on the yard and the lack of customer service. He was accepting and nice during my conversation with him, and I was nice about it, too. He told me he thought he got the soil sample results back, but couldn't remember and would let me know. He still hasn't let me know. I asked him how he was going to rectify the curbing damage and he said he'd send someone out....still waiting. He did send the crew back out to re-seed and fix the leveling and replace flowers, but he never did come back out to the house to check on things. He was also supposed to have come to the house to go over the flower bed design BEFORE the initial work was done and I had to ask for the design upon my visit tot he business. He still didn't have it and sent one out with the crew on their second visit. Really? I paid for that?? I don't know how I'm going to get the curbing fixed, unless I get an estimate myself and take it to them. One thing I want to say is they were very cooperative with me regarding trees I'd purchased and having them plant them. They did charge me for it but were nice about it. Oh, and I have a boulder.....it's a nice boulder. ;-/ I paid a large amount of money for something that didn't make much of a difference and left me with damage.

I'd tell others never to use them. They came out to plant some plants when I wasn't home and without my consent. I had a tree that kept getting blown over and eventually died due to their lack of care.

My husband and I used Scott’s Landscaping to install sod in our front yard. My yard looks great and the men that performed the work were very professional - they are the only reason I gave Scott's the scores that I did; however, my husband and I were extremely disappointed with the management. From the time that we received our estimate to the time that we paid our deposit for the work, Scott’s was very responsive. From the time that our deposit was paid and the time that the work was started, they were terrible about returning calls. It was explained to us at the time that the deposit was paid it was a small job that would be worked into the schedule, but we would receive a call six days after our deposit was paid. That day came and went along with three or four others before I called to follow up. My phone calls were not returned….ever. My husband had to call before we received a date to have the work done. The day before we were scheduled to have the sod installed, there was a downpour so sod was not cut. This was totally understandable; however, we were told that we would be called back to reschedule and the merry-go-round started again. After numerous calls between me and my husband – which you can never get a live person on the phone – our sod was installed during the hottest week this summer. My husband and I had to run sprinklers to the point that I am afraid to see our water bill. Once the work was done Scott’s then became more responsive, ironically enough, because money was owed to them. Our yard looks great and the guys laying sod were awesome, but we probably won’t use them just because of the difficulty in getting the job scheduled. It felt like because they had our deposit and it was a small job, we weren’t important to them.

They are good. They are just good people and they show up. They are expensive like how most others are but they are good. The lawn looks better. They are fine. I would use their services again in the future.

There are three crabapple trees and three pear trees. Overall, it was good working with them. They were pretty professional and prompt. One tree wasn't lined up with the other ones and they didn't want to move it and said that the root ball would fall apart. We called the place and they said they could move it so the workers did and everything was fine. The price was fair.

They came out promptly to give me an estimate. They listened to what I wanted and gave me different prices to do things in different ways. They also gave a couple of suggestions that were really helpful. They did a really good work and co-operated well when I asked them to change a couple of things. They were nice, friendly and did not turn a hair.

THEY ARE SATISFACTORY

THEY COME WHEN THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO. THEY DO A GOOD JOB BUT THE YARD IS THE SAME AS IT WAS BEFORE.
