During the hottest part of the summer this year our outside A/C unit stopped working. We had another 3-4 days of 90+ weather in the forecast. We called 3 different companies and no one was able to come out for at least a week.Finally, we did what we should have done first. We called TRG and they came out the next day and quickly diagnosed the issue. They were very straight forward with their assessment and gave us some hard truths that we needed to hear. TRG gave us our options, and within 48 hours we had cold air pumping through our home. After having our options carefully explained to us, we opted to replace our entire A/C unit inside and outside. In the long run, we know that we made the best decision because TRG explained the savings that would occur with the choice that we made. TRG’s technicians and engineers were very thorough and they provided us with all the information and details that we needed to know for us to get the most out of our new A/C system. Our heating unit has got some years behind it, but we are not worried because TRG will come through once again. We ran into a leak issue in our newly purchased home that no one could figure out (another HVAC company and our roofing company). We were stressed and trying to get it figured out/corrected ASAP when our insurance agent recommended Will and his team. Will responded extremely quickly, came out multiple times to investigate/tweak settings, recommended a number of things that no one previously had thought of, and fixed our issue! We saved a ton of money from the "worst case scenario" we thought we were in. Will and his team were honest, professional, trustworthy and friendly. We will be customers for life and are so happy we found an HVAC company we can rely on and trust!

I can’t say enough good things about Will and his team. I live in Highland Park and was in immediate need of help when my furnace stopped working on one of the coldest nights of the year. Will came out within a couple hours and had the heat working again in no time. He and his team treated me with respect and professionalism. I use their services for all of my heating and air needs!

I hadn't serviced my 2 HVAC units in a couple of years. Will at TRG, scheduled his guys the next day! Jorge and Junior were great. On time and I didn't even have to ask them to put shoe coverings on when they came into my house. They were very professional and serviced and cleaned both my units. Gave me pointers on how to prolong the life of the units and got me scheduled for my annual service.

Finally, an HVAC service provider that is prompt, trustworthy, competent, and friendly! Buying an older home has led to a steep learning curve on major appliances, and we have had our share of not-great experiences so far going with the outfits you typically see driving down the street. Reached out to TRG after reading reviews, and we were in a tight spot as our central AC stopped blowing cold air in the peak of summer heat & humidity. Will made every effort to go out of his way & get us back up and running, even coming over at the end of his day. He was transparent with what was going on, what he thought it would take to remedy the situation, and what may or may not work. He talked me through the issue & parts needed, and recommended how to clean/maintain the unit to minimize future issues. The house has been icy cold for weeks now, and whenever we need service, maintenance, or new units - TRG is our new crew!

On a Thursday evening I realized my air conditioner was leaking. On Friday morning, I used Angie’s list for references and based on reviews, contacted The Rayes Group (TRG). I left a voicemail AND completed their easy to use, on-line form. Within a few minutes, I was contacted by Will to inquire about my availability for him to come that day. He sent a text when he was on his way and showed up on-time! We discussed the leak, and he went to work. In about 15 minutes he showed me the issue and what he planned to do to fix it -- with my approval, of course. From beginning to end his service was exceptional; he was polite, friendly and an excellent communicator; efficient, thoughtful, and extremely conscious of budget! An all-around positive experience and the cost was very reasonable!

The Reyes Group did a great job repairing the AC service in my office building. Despite being contacted on a Weekend, they were on the job first thing on Monday, diagnosed the problem and installed new equipment the next day. Highly recommended.

As a new homeowner, I wanted to get the furnace and air conditioner inspected to make sure everything was in good working order. They showed up on time, were very professional, and made sure I understood everything they were doing. I’ve gone with the yearly program and am very happy so far.

I used The Rayes Group (TRG) for the first time last week, and man I was blown away. Their communication was amazing, they showed up on time and left my spaces the way they found them. They also gave me the full story on anything that needed to be done, and didn't talk down to me when answering my numerous questions about what they were doing. Craig and Will were super professional and friendly! We started with a quick phone call and i messaged over some photos of the issue. They came by the next day super prepared and explained everything they were doing in layman's terms. The work was done quickly, precisely and within budget. I would highly recommend them for your home project. In addition, they had their masks on the whole time, and put on booties to enter the space. They were also dog friendly and watched out that she didn't run out as they made their way in and out of the house. I will definitely we hiring them again, and recommending them to everyone I know :D

I highly recommend TRG for anything related to residential HVAC. Will has always provided very personalized and professional services at a fair price. Very quick and professional service! Our thermostat needed to be replaced. The technician was prompt, friendly, professional and installed our new thermostat quickly.

Will Gutierrez and Craig paid us a visit to do some preventative maintenance and an inspection for potential future issues of the original unit that is in the home we purchased in 2015. They were very friendly, but also very aware and professional about wearing their masks and shoe covers as soon as they stepped foot in our home. Craig was very thorough in his inspection and in providing a full report, which included working parts as well as those that could possibly need repair or replacement in the near future. They were also able to inform of us the specifications of our current unit and how it is disproportionately rated for the size of our house. They informed us that when it comes time to update the unit, we can go with one that is the correct size and more cost and energy efficient. They did this by not putting any pressure on us to use them and it was greatly appreciated just to get facts and information. You can tell that they have a lot of experience and knowledge when it comes to knowing all the aspects of their work. They will absolutely get a call from us if we run into any problems in the future. Also, we will highly recommend TRG to our family and friends!

I inherited a family home and the furnace was 30 years old. Still running but not very efficient. So I called TRG for an estimate. Will came out and priced out some options for me. I was able to purchase a furnace that fit my budget and my needs. This summer I’m upgrading my AC with TRG. I loved working with these guys. Very professional and polite and a lot of fun.

I have hired The Rayes Group to replaced my existing thermostat. They are the only one company to contacted me on my request for quote. None of other companies from Angie's list did not even consider giving me a quote. -Communications with Will from TRG was beyond exceptional. -Showed up on time introduce himself, very professional and friendly -Spend extra time with installation of Ecobee thermostat, which was not an easy installation replacing and old Honeywell unit. -Help with set up and programming new unit and setting up an iPhone application. -Offer to set up an appointment for spring time to see how the thermostat would work with air-condition. Was so pleasantly surprised and happy the way this project was handled, thank you!

The team at TRG are very professional, timely and efficient. They took all safety precautions regarding Covid which made my family feel very comfortable. We have used TRG to replace a water heater and an HVAC unit. We also use them for our HVAC maintenance. Each time they come to our house, they complete the work in a timely manner and clean up any mess. When removing our old water heater, the metal edge ripped our thread hold weatherstripping. They informed me that it happened and promptly returned with a new strip and installed it. I was very impressed! I would highly recommend TRG.

I never write these things but I have to today. I've been doing some work on my dads place and I noticed his furnace was really old-it just didn't seem to be running right and my dad said he was always cold. I called TRG and Will came out to take a look for us. Turns out the issue was going to be simple to fix and he saved us a ton of money! These guys are great to work with! I highly recommend!
