Description of Work: We used Cary for our home inspection. He was on time, professional, thorough, nice and most importantly REALLY good at his job. His report was easy to understand and he had great recommendations on what to ask for to get things where they needed to be. We had several follow up conversations and he was so patient and helpful. We even asked to come out a second time to look at something and there was no additional charge. We would highly recommend Cary.

Description of Work: Full home inspection. Cary identified many topics (large and small) and was really good about communicating reasonable next steps. He's definitely been doing awhile and is very methodical in his process. |The cost was reasonable vs. services performed, but I was expecting Radon testing to be include led and it wasn't (for reasons which were sensible), but I ended up spending an additional amount to cover that test.

Description of Work: Mr.Seidner was able to squeeze doing a home inspection for a small mixed use building I had a bid on quickly. He was very professional and informative while on the inspection. he was incredibly thorough and explained things in simple terms so it was not overwhelming. The report time was a 5 day turnaround.

Description of Work: Cary performed a Home Inspection on a 2-bedroom condo I am in the process of purchasing. He answered the phone when i called, and scheduled an appointment. He arrived early for the appointment, and performed the inspection in a thorough and careful manner. He welcomed me to walk around the place with him, educating me on generalities, and explaining problems he found, making sure I understood the implications. I was completely satisfied.

Description of Work: The service Cary provided was excellent. As a first time home buyer I had lots of questions and he did an excellent job at answering them in detail. He discussed all the items that needed immediate attention with us and why those improvements were required. He gave a lot of suggestions for additional improvements to make in the future with our home. His attention to detail is excellent and I would definitely use this service again!

There were renters in this condo who had (frankly) trashed the place, and Cary was very patient and considerate to the people living there (even when their two dogs kept getting in the way of the inspection, or when the dogs relieved themselves in the living room, or when we discovered that the kitchen plumbing had been broken). He explained everything, which was extremely helpful. (He even offered some cursory advice to the renter who was living there!) This is our first purchase of a home so we are very nervous about it, but Cary put our minds at ease and did an outstanding job. He was very thorough, even checking common elements that weren't included in the inspection. He also gave us some advice about things that weren't really problems, but would be addressed by a responsible home owner. I would definitely use Seidner Property Inspections again, and I will recommend him to anyone I know buying a home. Outstanding.

Description of Work: I would highly recommend the services of Mr. Seidner. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and patient. There were a number of major issues with the property and Mr. Seidener provided quite a bit of information regarding proposed corrections and resources to address these issues during the inspection. After the report was completed, he reviewed specific items of concern via telephone. Very professional. I would highly recommend him.

He took the time to explain everything to us and seemed very thorough (this was our first time with an inspector so we have no frame of reference). We felt very comfortable working with him and believe we have a good understanding of what should be repaired in our home.
Description of Work: We are first-time homebuyers. Cary walked through our house with us and explained which parts of the house needed repair and updating, including areas we could amend which would save us money on bills.

+ -1 moreHe was very thorough and knowledgeable. He gave me lots of great advice for approx. repair costs for the things he found. This was a 100 year old building. He found that the roof was shot and needed replaced. I was able to use that to negotiate tens of thousands of dollars off the asking price. I would definitely use him again. He is part of my team.
