Easy as pie!

Progressive Tree Service did a great job taking care of a dying tree that was destined to fall on our house. They performed what I can only describe as acrobatics to string rope from a tree in the front of our house to the dying tree in order to carefully remove the limbs and trunk. The mess that was created during the event was dramatic, but they did a great job cleaning up and there were only small signs afterwards that they had even been there. We were very happy with their service and plan on having them come out next year to take care of another tree removal and pruning.

Juan Martinez of Progressive Tree Service initially came out to my home to evaluate what work I would need as this stump was very large in diameter, likely contained parts of an old fence that the tree had grown around, and was in a difficult location for access. He was prompt, very pleasant, offered good, practical advice for how the work could be done and gave me a very reasonable quote for the job. He arrived with a colleague on the day scheduled, on time, and did a fantastic job removing this stump. You would never know it was there. They did a very good job of cleaning up the work area when they were done and were very pleasant and easy to work with. I have already requested that they come back in the spring to maintain and spray a couple of trees in my yard. I would, without hesitation, recommend Progressive Tree Service to anyone. Juan is a certified arborist and was very knowledgable about the other trees and plantings in my yard as well.

Were prompt in responding to my initial call for an estimate and in following up on scheduling the work. They completed the work as scheduled and accommodated my special request to cut the trunk and larger branches into segments for storage in my yard (I am a woodturner). The job included stump removal as well. All in all, I couldn't have asked for a more professional and expert service at a very reasonable cost.

Very good! They did a great job pruning the trees. Also, most importantly, when they were pruning the large linden, they noticed a crack at the top of the trunk which could've been a dangerous situation if wasn't caught. Progressive installed a cable which provided additional support to the tree which we were thrilled about since we really wanted to save the tree. We were happy with the service and thought the price was more than reasonable and would not hesitate to use them again.

Great service. Reasonably priced. They came and did work on time at my location in Skokie. Bought a new home and needed old dead big bushes removed. They also cleaned there mess up after the work was completed and bushes were removed. Will definitely recommend to others. Very professional and hard workers willing to remove bushes and also they remove trees. Thanks for doing a great job guys.

Progressive Tree Service was knowledgeable, professional, punctual and just great! They explained what our tree needed and we are very happy with their service.

They were very professional and responsive. The team came out the day we called. What we originally thought was a simple branch removal ended up being a complete tree removal. Our tree had began to rot on the inside and was breaking apart, endangering our house and power lines. We were so grateful that they were able to get the job done so quickly and professionally.

The workers did an excellent and safe job removing the 2 trees. They were quick, efficient and cleaned up very well.

Progressive tree service did a great job. A whole team came out with a crane service, tree mulcher etc. We thought it would be longer but they were done in about 5 hours with everything from when they started (which was after a short storm passed). For the size of the trees we had to cut this was shorter than we thought. The workers were friendly and professional. They knew what they were doing and got the job done without any issues. They even cleaned up all the chips and dust from our yard after they were done, it was almost like the trees were never there. Very pleased with the service and would hire them again.

These guys are absolutely fantastic. Juan came out a couple of hours after I called, gave a very fair bid and had a space open the next morning to do the work. They were efficient, polite, cautious and clean. The trees were bent through a fence over into a neighbor's yard, tight between our garage and their pergola. They got the three of them down with zero damage and looking as if they had never been there. The bushes were all also up against fences that they left undamaged. I was also impressed with how conscientious they were of the neighbors at eight in the morning - doing the quieter work first, then only turning on their chipper and engines as needed and turning them back off. It's hard to find smart, honest, thoughtful and skilled companies. We are definitely adding them to our list of "go to" companies. Highly recommended.

We needed some tree removal with trimming of bushes and tree branches. Looking for a local company we were impressed with the on-line reviews we had read for Progressive Tree Service located in Evanston, IL. I called and spoke with Mr. Juan Martinez, we were able to quickly establish at our convenience a weekend appointment for a service bid/quote. Juan was very open to what we were looking to have done around our yard offering suggestions and advise. We were impressed with his tree knowledge and experience and appreciated the quote he offered for the work. We decided to hire Progressive Tree Service and again were very happy that they could establish a service date with us for a Saturday at our convenience. The tree work provided was conducted very professionally; being effective, efficient and thorough. We were quite impressed with each member of the team and the work performed. Team members were open to our questions and took the time to make sure the work was done to our approval. We wanted to acknowledge one team member named, “Eloy.” (I apologize if the spelling is incorrect) – but wanted to point out how impressive he was in climbing around tree limbs and branches and cutting them down. My wife and I watched in awe as he did his job. We will be hiring Progressive Tree Service again in the future and wanted to acknowledge and thank them for their great work. Thank you!

After searching for a trimming service my neighbor suggested Progressive Tree Service. They were able to come out the next day and give me a quote and time. They showed up right on time and were able to remove branches that were getting close to my house. They removed all tree trimmings and left my yard free of debris. The workers were precise and fulfilled my needs and expectations.
