Description of Work: Norpro came out to our new home to do an estimate and initial meeting on a kitchen remodel, flooring and fireplace remodel. They were extremely rushed and did not seem interested in our home. They offered no suggestions and kept asking me what to do. I was promised an email quote and never got anything. Needless to say we did not work with them nor would I recommend them.

Description of Work: Working with Mihai and his staff made this process quite easy. The prompt responses, accurate timetables and reasonable prices are all resasons I would HIGHLY recommend using Norpro for any work you are considering.

Description of Work: Sanded and refinished hardwood floors in my library and dining room. Ripped out and replaced hardwood floor in my living room. Ripped out tile in my sitting room and powder room. Patched and painted drywall in my dining, living and sitting room; also my hallway, library and powder room. Sanded and stained stairs to my spiral stairs and painted metal railing. |Mihai is the best contractor I've worked with and I've had many of my 39 years of home ownership and rental apartments.

Description of Work: Norpro was great to work with: very friendly, accommodating, trustworthy, and flexible with both our schedules and changes through the project. We were very pleased with their pricing and invoice structure as well. They were a great match for us and our bedroom and bathroom remodel as we had a very clear design idea and were able to make all the necessary design and layout decisions. I would highly recommend the Norpro team to anyone that is in a similar situation - Norpro is great at their craft, but they would not be ideal for a customer that needed strong design direction or layout advice.

Description of Work: I would highly recommend Norpo for remodeling services. They did a complete gut rehab of my kitchen. During the initial appointment the owner, Mihai, arrived on time, and stayed until all of our questions were fully answered. He took measurements and looked closely at many details that other companies overlooked. After more questions via email, and extremely prompt responses from Mihai, we decided to hire Norpro for the project. We scheduled the project to start over a month out, due to the anticipated delivery of our cabinets. On the scheduled start date Mihai and crew arrived right on time. The job was completed within the estimated timeframe. Mihai was always very quick to answer calls, emails, and texts. He stopped by many times throughout the process to personally view the progress, many times in the evenings and weekends, to accommodate our schedules. He even stopped by on the evening of his birthday, despite his dinner reservations. In addition to the superior customer service we were given, the quality of the work was also excellent. Every detail was given careful consideration. The workers cleaned up every night, even during the initial demo stages. They took extra care to protect my recently refinished hardwood floor. The final product turned out great, and we are very happy with work Norpo did.

Description of Work: A jacuzzi was taken out of the bathroom and replaced with a bathtub. Shower walls then had to be re-tiled because the size of the tub left a space. I am on the road alot. NorPro was extremely helpful in purchasing the items needed and doing the work. All I had to do was pay the cost. It worked out very well for me and was not very stressful.

Description of Work: Norm and his staff were absolutely fabulous! Working in a high rise can be challenging, but they came prepared. They said the job would take 2 weeks, and, even though we continued to add items to Norm's list to complete, he got everything done in less than three weeks. Very professional, clean, and the work was perfect. They completed a Carrera Marble bathroom with a heated floor, new fixtures as well as painting and repairing drywall. The "extras" were new floorboards in the bedrooms and marble ledges. All work was perfect. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Norpro and would recommend them to anyone. We will hire Norm again!

Description of Work: THEY WERE TO REPLACE BATHROOM TILE. WHEN I ASKED ABOUT ADDING A FIXTURE CHANGE, HE HAD HIS RECEPTIONIST TALK TO ME - INCLUDING RELAYING THAT THE PRICE WOULD MORE THAN DOUBLE. I THINK THERE WAS A MISUNDERSTANDING ABOUT WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE, BUT THEY WERE NOT WILLING TO COME OUT TO FIGURE IT OUT. WE WERE RELIEVED TO CANCEL THE CONTRACT - THEY WERE RUDE.
