Everything went great, David is very nice, professional and efficient. All repairs were made to my full satisfaction, quickly and without a mess. Arrived just on time, scheduled me just one day after calling him although he was busy.

I called Dave Newman because I had a 30 lb. mirror to hang. He was working in the area and finished early so he came over and hung the mirror that afternoon. Dave did an excellent job and shared what he was doing with me. I highly recommend Newman Household Repair.

Dan was very prompt to respond and very thorough in his assessment of the job. He asked a lot of questions and wanted to be very clear on what he would do and how long it would likely take. He arrived right on time and got straight to work. In the end he spent about 6 hours installing the doors which was right on his original estimate. The total I paid for the 4 doors came in at about $90 per door which is less than I would have paid for Lowes to install them. However, the 6 hours was longer than I would have expected and partly because I think Dan is a perfectionist. I would likely consider using Dan for more detail oriented work in the future where everything has to be just right.

This was a special deal and I wasn't at the beginning of the list, but Dave was able to schedule me in after other jobs one afternoon. Extremely responsive. Pleasant and professional. Would call again as soon as I compile the next list of "to do's."

He tried to provide great value for the time he was at my place. He advised me on how to complete repairs in most efficient and economical way. Very pleasant.

Dan was very responsive and we set up a date and time right after I bought the groupon. On the day of the appointment he called to give me a time and was here when he said he would be. He solved the problem of not finding studs in the wall to hang the wall art by using a French Cleat that he had with him. He even gave me a quick tutorial on how to identify the different wires when switching out the light fixture. Dan was very pleasant and professional.

Dave was so very helpful. I have a very old light fixture in my laundry room that was broken. Because of the set-up, I didn't know what or how to replace. Dave provided several repair options, but in the end, I went with a replacement. We went to Menards to pick out the correct fixture. All this was done in less than an hour. Dave is a knowledgeable guy, timely, and saved me money. I would highly recommend.

He was very efficient, helped to prioritize list of repairs and clearly explained what he could reasonably accomplish which helped us determine how to proceed, was on time and very thoughtful throughout process. We also appreciated his keeping us aware of time involved in each project so we could reasonably estimate and budget. Furthermore, he was clearly and without qualification committed to the quality of his repairs, and while to some people perhaps the next fact might not seem a key issue, he cleaned each area in which he had worked so there was no later clean-up necessary on our part. Terrific!

Dave did very well. He was easy to work with. It cost me more because I had more than two hours of work to be done. He worked with me to come out when I needed him to. I'm just sorry he couldn't do more work for me in the electrical, plumbing, and remodeling areas.

Dave shortened the legs of a super heavy piece of furniture. He attached countertop to an island in my kitchen, mounted a broom rack, installed a curtain rod and replaced a window lock. All was fine.

Dave was great. I had family coming into town and tried to schedule the work at the very last minute. Dave worked me into an open window on the same day and did a terrific job.
